The ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery is tasty enough and there certainly is a lot of flavours and combinations to choose from. At the same time, I'm fundamentally a DQ or Baskin Robbins type of guy. So no matter which Cold Stone Creamery I have patronized, I find it all a bit too pretentious and pricey for my tastes. The Worst Cold Stone Ever!!!!! I expect it to be packed on a Friday night, no big deal. Took my kid here before we headed home and made a HUGE mistake coming to this location. A LOT OF THE ICE CREAM WAS MELTED. The ASININE EMPLOYEE (JULIE) told me it's from sitting there all day and there was nothing she can do about it. I ended up getting ice cream (a small size, since there was a piece that wasn't melted). I LOVE that they have banana flavored ice cream. It is amazing. It is my current summer obsession. Mix in some strawberries and fresh banana and you're good to go. Love that you can select your own mix-ins, or pick one of their signature flavors (you can make substitutions if you want). I also think their sizes are fun: Like it, Love it, Gotta Have it. I'd love to give this location 4 or 5 stars, but I have two serious issues: The teen employees- they're slow, they're not particularly friendly, they all seem to hate their job. Being lactose intolerant I am not the best judge of ice cream. I don't understand the concept of combinations and what is good because I don't eat ice cream. When you're a mom though, its a different story. You need to be up on the possibilities of combinations out there. My kids are Mint Chocolate Chip kids. My son went for the whole shebang. My son got the Mint Mint Chocolate Chocolate Chip. Terrible name but according to my son, terribly delicious. My daughter went a little more simple and got just mint chip with M&M's. I had the littlest taste of the mint ice cream by itself. I was not impressed. Dare I say, Baskin Robins is better. The service was great. While standing there staring at the menu board, not knowing what would be good, I told the employees that I had no idea what to get the kids because of my lactose intolerance. They both said they were also lactose intolerant and they really didn't know either. I loved that so much. We all laughed at the idea of working at a ice cream place and not even being able to enjoy what you serve. They were very accommodating to my kids. I went into this location after work this evening. Went inside and was never acknowledged by the three workers inside. There were two customers ahead of me that were being assisted by one of the workers. There was a Latino young lady who looked me straight in my face, rolled her eyes and never said a word. I love Cold Stone, no matter the location. The only gripe I have with this particular location is that the ice cream seemed to melt before I could even get a grip on the cup. I think that the freezers need to be turned up a bit higher or something. I realize I wasn't the only one with this issue because another girl came back in and asked for a new ice cream because as soon as she went outside it melted. I've been in the store a couple of times and always been on a weekday around 1-2PM, so it's empty. I've had decent service, but I don't set my expectations super high. The issue I'm having with this location is that I placed a cake order to pick up, and unfortunately I have to cancel it. I've called every day this week but NO ONE picks up! I've stayed on the line for so long that I finally make it to the voicemail and it says that it's full. I ordered the largest ice cream cake and realized I only selected congratulations online. You can only order online.. I then called the Pleasant shill store and emailed back on my confirmation order 5 days before pickup asking them to add my daughters name, and either red and blue roses or cap hats as a decoration. No one picks up the phone there which is horrible customer service that you can't get someone to call you back or answer the phone and no one responded to my email. I picked up the $65 cake and it said congratulations and that's is it no decorations nothing. Very disappointing that l had they responded to email or listened to my voice message I would have gotten a better decorated cake. read more

Coldstone is great for adult and children. Brayden and I visited Coldstone on one of the hottest days of the summer. It was literally 114 degrees outside and miserable. We didn't want anything but ice cream that day. Brayden ended up getting the Watermelon sorbet which was very refreshing. It is one of his favorites and I got strawberry with some marshmallow.
