Here is the photo of the QR code in the food court.

False advertisement. There are QR codes all around this food court, advertising $10 off a purchase in exchange for a review. When I tried to use this at Cha Redefine, they told me that they cannot honor this because this QR code has been invalid since the holiday season and that no vendor in the food court accepts this anymore. It's now July, so I wonder, if this QR code is no longer valid, then why is it still all over the place? It's quite deceptive and inconvenient.

Got an iced matcha latte 50% sweet with oatmilk at Cha Redefine. Very smooth texture and good flavor. A tiny bit too milk heavy, but otherwise one of the better matchas I've had. I would return to try other items. Online ordering through Toast was easy. Tuesdays you get a 20% discount for members.

Love coming to Collage at South Coast after work on Friday! So many affordable and delicious options. There's something here for everyone. My favorite spots are Paradise Dynasty and Le Shrimp Ramen, but I've had the boba from the tea house and it was really good as well! Love this take on a mall food court!

A visit to the Collage Culinary Experience/Food Court is a must for all foodies! It is conveniently located in South Coast Plaza by Bloomingdales on the first and second floor entrance. They'll have everything from Le Shrimp Noodles, Paradise Dynasty dumplings, Bruxie waffles, Cha Redefine tea/boba, and of course Pho Holic. So many of these shops are family friendly and can accommodate large groups. It's a casual spot for weekly nights or weekends. *tip, Many of these restaurants offer happy hour or weekday deals. Employees are kind even when it gets so crowded at times. I do wish they would host more events or celebrations around here.

A Must-Visit for Pho Lovers! I recently visited Phoholic at the Costa Mesa mall area, and it completely exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for authentic, high-quality Vietnamese comfort food in a modern, vibrant setting, this is the spot. Why I Loved It: The Broth: The soul of any pho is the broth, and Phoholic nails it. It's clear, fragrant, and incredibly deep in flavor without being overly greasy. You can tell they take their time simmering it. Fresh Ingredients: The beef was tender and high-quality, and the herbs (basil, sprouts, lime) were crisp and fresh. The Vibe: Located within the culinary experience area, the atmosphere is energetic and cool--perfect for a quick lunch or a casual dinner with friends. Service: Even when they're busy (which is often!), the staff is efficient, friendly, and gets the food out surprisingly fast.

Honestly way better than expected for a mall location. We came to the South Coast Plaza location expecting "solid food court pho" and ended up genuinely impressed. The broth was rich, clean, and deeply beefy without feeling heavy or overly salty. Meat portions were generous, noodles had great texture, and everything tasted fresh. The egg rolls were a hit with the kids, service moved fast, and it was surprisingly easy for a family lunch in the middle of shopping chaos. Is it the absolute best pho in Little Saigon? Maybe not -- but for convenience, quality, and consistency, this really delivered. If you're at South Coast Plaza and debating random mall food vs PhoHolic, this is the move.

Absolutely love this spot! So many different food choices to choose from. I frequent the Bruxie located here but also love stopping by Mochinut. Paradise dynasty is also a huge hit and a must try. We took advantage of the Friends and Family menu they provide on Mondays Only from 5:00 to closing. We sat at the beautiful bar and were watched over by Jacob. The wife had some special non-alcoholic drink that was very pretty and tasted great. I went with the VACA Tonic, an icy concoction made with gin. It was super refreshing and a nice way to start. This menu has selected tapas items that range in price from $8 to $19. We ordered the Pan Con Tomate ($8) which comes with sliced toasted bread slices, tomato pulp, a delicious olive oil and a side of sea salt. You take a piece of toast, squirt some of the olive oil on top, then pour on the tomato pulp. Light, tasty and delicious. Next up, the Patatas Bravas ($9). Perfectly roasted spicy potato cubes, slathered with tomato sauce and a garlic aioli. WOW! So simple yet so good. I licked the plate clean. Next up, the Bikini Sandwich ($9). Two small perfectly toasted cheesy sandwich wedges that have Iberico ham, manchego cheese and a hint of truffles. It was really delicious and the special ham was the star of the show. These are great starting items, yet surprisingly filling. I couldn't stop there though and wanted to order some of their famous paella. I decided on the Paella De Carne ($53). This is a meat paella with pork belly, chorizo, blood sausage, duck confit (a leg & thigh), beef cheek, with bomba rice and a garlic aioli. You have to wait about 20 minutes for them to make it but it's worth the wait. It was perfectly cooked and awash in flavor. The special paella pan they prepare the dish in looked well seasoned and I wished I could have taken it home. The menu is extensive with lots of choices to accommodate any palate. The restaurant is beautiful and has a front and back patio seating. If you have a choice, sit on the back patio. There is valet parking for $12, but there is a parking structure right across the street that provides easy access and is free with validation.

After waiting about 10 minutes I finally had to call out rather loudly and someone came slowly out. Second, the place is DIRTY. There are stains dripping down the wall and the surfaces all look very grimy. Last, the food was awful. The rice was mushy - way too much water added. The salmon tasted metallic and spoiled - like that sulfuric essence that old boiled eggs. The beef was reminiscent of beef jerky. I had two more onigiri (plate of 4 for $17 after tax) and I ended up throwing them all away after those first few bites because I was concerned about getting sick. Given the recent reviews, if this place did serve good food, its certainly gone downhill. Skip this place. You're better of going to Lagu or Tokyo Central.

Service - there was only one guy doing everything so it was a little slow. We had to be patient. This place may be cheaping out on paying their employees and short-staffed. It was a Saturday evening, so not exactly the time to be short-staffed. Also, my friend wanted a water with his meal and paid for a bottle of water. I saw there was a water dispenser and cups behind the counter, and I simply asked for a cup of water and the one guy working there got it for me. Especially with it being so short staffed - they should've left the water next to the self ordering kiosk for customers to get their water after they order when they wait for their meal and not have to ask. Would I recommend this place? Eh, its not bad if you're starving. Would I come back? No, not when there's plenty of much better high quality options that would actually be worth it not far from here.

My family all grabbed food from different restaurants, and I decided to eat here. I ordered the two skewers with fried rice and a side of popcorn chicken. While eating, I noticed what looked like rubber bands underneath my popcorn chicken. At that point, I felt pretty grossed out and brought it back to the counter. I requested a refund, but I do not think the employee fully understood what I was asking for. Instead, he immediately made me another meal, which was not what I wanted. By that point, I was already put off and no longer wanted replacement food. When I again requested a refund, he began processing it and called over to a woman working at the mochi donut stand across the way, seemingly for help or approval. When she walked over, she immediately demanded to see the food. The employee went back to get it and brought it over to her. As she looked at it, she repeatedly said, "Where is it? I do not see it," while the employee gestured for her to move the food around to see underneath. At that point, she seemed frustrated that I had even brought it up. She explained that the rubber bands appeared to come from the utensil bundle with a fork and napkin tied together. However, I never used the fork. I used chopsticks, so I still did not feel good about how they ended up underneath my food. What bothered me most was the interaction that followed. She seemed frustrated with the employee and began discussing the situation with him. From what I could understand, it almost sounded like she expected the food to somehow still be used, while he was trying to explain that the rubber bands were at the bottom of the food and he had not seen them or did not want to touch the food afterward. The exchange left me with a bad feeling because it gave me the impression that the food may have been expected to be reused or fixed rather than discarded and remade, which honestly grossed me out. She then grabbed the meal, tossed it across the counter into the trash in frustration, and stormed off. There were a lot of customers around, and I truly was not trying to make a scene or hurt their business. I even considered that it could have simply been an honest mistake. I quietly brought it back because something did not feel right and I simply wanted the situation handled professionally. Unfortunately, the way it was handled made the experience much worse. The entire interaction left a bad impression. The woman came across as rude and dismissive, and the way the situation was handled did not leave me feeling confident about the cleanliness or professionalism of the business. I felt bad for the employee because he genuinely seemed to be trying to help, but unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning. I also do not feel good about trying the donut shop knowing it appears to be managed the same way.
