Back in early July we had our house painted. Found dimitri through a yelp search and after reading the awesome reviews decided to give him a call. He was professional and worked with us and the budget we had. But the reason why I write this review was the fact that he was able to paint our house in about a week, after talking to him just a day or two before hand. We had family coming in from out of state and really needed it done before they came. His workers showed up ready to work every morning, even on the 4th, the holiday! They were very professional and got straight to work. We've hired other company's in the past and would come home during lunch break and see them playing music and just taking their time and chit chatting. What a great service! I had one week to turn my rental around. Dimitri was able to get me an estimate, schedule the job, and complete the job - not only on time, but a day early! I think I am a pretty good judge of character and Dimitri comes off as a Honest Hard working guy. I hired him to pressure wash and paint my eves, install facia board around my house and tear down and replace the damaged drip edge flashing. The crew who did the work was a father in law, son in law team. They were great. Always polite, smiling, singing, even in the awful heat we had. I hired Color Concepts to paint my fiberglass double doors. They'd been painted upon installation but the job was not good and I wanted them redone. I'd called several companies and either they had no experience with fiberglass, they didn't respond to my calls and one wanted nearly $2,000.00 for the job. I talked to Dmitri on the phone. We agreed to do the estimate with pictures since it was not a huge job. I sent him pictures and he responded almost immediately with a quote and pictures of a previous job he'd done on fiberglass doors. We made an appointment. Dmitri confirmed our scheduled appointment by text the day before. He called me the day of the scheduled appointment (a couple of hours before he was due to arrive) to come by and get the paint color. He did that and left to secure the appropriate supplies. He did not arrive at the scheduled time, then leave for supplies. At the pre-arranged time he was at my home, fully prepared, ready to do the work. He was with Ray, an assistant who was just as courteous as Dmitri. Both were very hard working and just plain good at their jobs. They set up in my front yard, taking the doors off completely to ensure the perfection that had been lacking in the first paint job. They protected my lawn and even requested that we move the cars as a precautionary measure. They painted the doors and reinstalled them and when they were finished I was amazed at how beautiful they look. The 2 even sanded down the brush marks that the previous painter had left so that the end result was a smooth lustrous door. If you need ANYTHING painted in your home, I strongly recommend Color Concepts Painting. You will not be disappointed! I will definitely be using them again! read more

I had my house painted a while ago and I was not satisfied. I spent plenty of time researching painters and finally settled on Color Concepts. Demetri seems to know his stuff, but that can work against you if you don't know a thing or two about painting to be on guard. We agreed on a price (which in hindsight was high considering the size of my house) but never signed anything and hadn't officially picked a color so I was surprised when I came home the next day and found him prepping and primering. I guess he was planning to use the color he recommended despite us never agreeing to it. I decided to completely change the color so he asked us to go to Sherwin Williams and pick the paint. We spent a good amount of time doing this but noticed he ended up using Behr paint so apparently we just wasted our time. Demetri gave us the whole 'trust me, you'll like it' spiel. At the end the job "seemed" okay, not the best though because they broke one of our landscape trees and there were some paint splatters on our block wall, cement, etc. Then we noticed they didn't really paint the bottom of the walls or the borders of the windows because there were areas where you could still see the old paint color. I called Demetri and after several weeks of putting us off he finally came to fix that. All is okay until that point.. then it rained. After the rain the old paint started coming through at the top part of our house. We only noticed this because a painter who was driving by looking for business knocked on our door asking if we wanted a paint job and pointed it out to us. After spending thousands of dollars on a paint job the last thing you want to hear is that your house looks like it needs a paint job! I called Demetri again. He was defensive but agreed to come take a look. It took months for him to come. He blamed it on our siding blah blah but attempted to do a quick cover up while we weren't home. It still looked pretty crappy so my husband said he'll go up there and paint it himself which is ridiculous after spending so much money. So I asked Demitri to give us the paint color. He offered to come take a look but at this point we're just wasting our time and I was sick and tired of dealing with him for 6 months. To add insult to injury he never told us upfront that he only accepts cash or check. He told me this as he asked for payment after the job was done. We used PayPal to pay by credit card. Oh but he wouldn't cover the fees, he made me split those with him. That is unprofessional in my book. read more

I was looking to move pretty quickly, so we squared up on a price and a date over the weekend and we were off to the races with prep on Monday and paint on Tuesday. I was pretty skeptical that the crew would be able to finish in the sweltering heat wave with paint going on at 12 and the day ending circa 6, but they got 'er done. For reference, my house is a 3 bedroom 2 bath with 2 car garage and an extension. I hired Color Concepts based on Yelp reviews, and once again, Yelp came through. I can't say enough good things about Dimitri and team....exceeded any expectations I had. I contacted Dimitri (owner) for some information, and he showed up promptly the next day ready to write up an estimate. First impression really are key, in any encounter in life, and my first impression of this guy was....."Wow, he's really professional, courteous and seems honest, I really like him". So I hired him! Whatever Dimitri says he's going to do, he will do. He's honest, on time and really cares about the quality of his work, and that's what I love about him!! His staff is amazing as well!!! My poor house needed lots of TLC from the exterior, Dimitri provided that and beyond. I had fascia boards and new side gates built and installed, along with some interior minor paint jobs, everything was executed in a timely manner, with care and as much precision as possible. Any questions or concerns were addressed promptly, and never once did I doubt or second guess Dimitri's ability to follow through, in fact, I had Dimitri pick the colors to the house, and any accents that were needed. I am "the woman" that is extremely indecisive, therefore, I let this guy take care of it all. He's amazing, I like him so much, I'm having him refinish my kitchen cabinets in the near future. I had broken up stucco, some holes in the walls, and some wood damage. They dug down around the house and repaired the stucco before painting and repaired the wood damage. 3. We talked about the paint and he gave some great advice before we started. 4. He stands behind his work - we had a little bit of paint peel due to the rains and some drainage problems.
