    Philly Cheese Steak

What a great spot, great atmosphere and the food was delicious. First visit, ate at the bar and we received a warm welcome from John the bartender who told us all about their great food offerings, not to mention he makes a mean martini. He told us everything is made fresh and when he said the turkey and roast beef was made in house I had to try their Philly Cheese Steak sandwich which was made with their roast beef. Well, it was fabulous one of the better ones I've tried served with fresh cut fries and a pickle. John also mentioned the Tuna Melt was excellent so my wife gave it a try. Let's just say he didn't steer her wrong, she loved it. Got it with fresh cut sweet potato fries also very delicious. This place will definitely be a go to for us every time we're in the area.

Great, local pub with decent prices and lots of drink options. Amanda, our bartender, was awesome! We never had an empty glass. The food menu was extensive and I'll try something the next time. Even the clientele was very friendly and offered us seats at the bar. There was a decent band playing which added to the cool ambiance. I'll be back!

Our waitress was very friendly and ended up leaving a pitcher of water once she saw we were parched. The salad bar wasn't huge, but there were some cold dishes along with salad fixings, which is part of the vintage charm. The bread (not complementary) was also a huge round loaf great for sharing. The decor's medieval vibe is very charming and it's nice looking around the room. The kitchen is open to the dining room with big brick ovens. I had the prime rib which was big and juicy (the baked potato was fine but the Yorkshire puff was bland and barely editable soaked in juice - may just be I don't like this food). The steak came with a giant onion ring which was delightful, and it was cooked perfectly tender. This place thrives in your meat and potato staples, so not a lot of side options except what's at the salad bar. For dessert, we had to try the peach melba delight, which was a giant goblet of vanilla ice cream, peaches in juice, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. Deceptively simple but extremely tasty and great to share There's a large bar area and the bathrooms are nice. This place is great for larger groups that include older people. The food is good and the atmosphere did feel like it was from another time, but we had a good time, and it's nice to see a place like this still around.

Everything we had was delicious! We started with the calamari, escargot, and tuna tartare, and honestly, we couldn't pick a favorite. Our main meals were just as good. Chopped salad - a variety of mixed greens and veggies well chopped. Nicely prepared. Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos - 3 tacos with large chunks of fresh Mahi Mahi. Garnished with red cabbage slaw and guac. Served with a side of rice. Top notch fish tacos that I highly recommend. The exterior is adorned with beautiful plants and flowers. The interior is bright and contemporary with a farmhouse vibe. Plus plenty of perfectly positioned screens to watch your favorite game. The service was on point for the most part. Our server was great but I think he was working too many tables bye himself so we kinda missed the opportunity to order a second round of drinks. We are definitely adding Black Rabbit to our regular rotation. Give it a try.

Heads up their steak fries are actually potato wedge; still tasty but a pleasant surprised. Both of our sandwiches were delicious. The steak sandwich came with a delicious garlic aioli. Our server was great. She mentioned that a lot of their beer is from Icarus brewing in Lakewood and suggested we check it out. We don't live too close but if we're ever in the area we'll be sure to come back. A lot of the beers were calling my name. A great local place.
