Beautiful restaurant in the heart of Celebration. We were seated promptly outside on the patio and it was absolutely beautiful. Our drink order was taken as soon as we sat down. I had the huckleberry martini and it was refreshing and made well. I took the suggestion of the waiter and had the Cuban sandwich and it was amazing! My husband had the 1905 salad with shrimp and was very happy with it. They made it right at the table and he ate every bite of it. Service was good and we never felt rushed. Columbia is a restaurant that you just have to go to if you're near one of their locations. Typically, I go to the one in Sarasota or the original in Ybor but this weekend the family and I took a special trip down to Celebration just to eat here. If I could recommend things you absolutely should order, here is my list: DRINKS: Cafe Con Leche (non-alcoholic) / Pitcher or Sangria Tinto (probably about 4 glasses). APPS: Calamares / Empanadas (picadillo inside - yum!)/ ***SALAD*** 100% GET THE 1905 SALAD. It is one of the original staples offered. They even have an entire day dedicated to it! 1905 day! ENTREES: you cannot go wrong with Palomilla, Picadillo, or the Ropa Vieja. The seafood is good too but those dishes are the traditional poor-man meals Latin America. You should at least try one of them once! In case you weren't full enough after all that food, every entree is accompanied with a portion of a fresh Cuban loaf of bread and butter. Oh yes, it's worth the calories. For those of you who have been training to eat this much, no meal is complete without flan for dessert. Service and food quality seemed to be slipping over the past couple years but I'm happy to say that if my last visit is any indication, they have remedied my concerns. Went on a Sunday when they opened at 11 AM. Service attentive and the food was delicious. The 1905 salad is amazing. It's a nice atmosphere and a great location, but there is only one thing that can't go wrong...the food. I've been to this location (Celebration) several times and ordered across the menu, they just can't get the food right. I know for sure the ropa vieja isn't made with sweet tomato paste (aka: ketchup). If the sofrito base is that poor, I'll eat at my neighbors house for more authentic cuisine and save $200. read more

We've been here a couple times now. Huge restaurant with multiple outdoor seating areas. We have tried quite a few dishes and where Columbia shines (in my opinion) is the Tapas section of the menu. The black bean cakes and chicken croquettes are SO good. They make a really good Cuban sandwich as well. The regular dishes (such as the picture chicken dish) are good however I feel the pricing is quite high for what it is. Great location in Celebration with a nice water view. read more

Ambiance and service were excellent. Food was hit and miss. The paella was very good. The ropa vieja was also fantastic flavor wise. It could have been shredded more to be visually more appealing. At the host stand we had the worst experience because the hostess was rude, she's brunette, in her 20's with glasses, I said: there are 7 adults and 3 kids and she rolled her eyes and talked to us with a horrible attitude, then the guy next to her, maybe a manager, l'm not sure, said to Her: tell them it's an hour and a half, when we were standing right there, also in a rude way. We felt really humiliated. If you are not prepared or qualified to work at costumer service, please do something else, I talk from the experience. Server "Dawn" very rude I reserved a table as a local who lives in St Augustine for a guest that came in town to visit. I was seated and sat without anyone greeting me. Once other tables were sat after me and greeted. I assumed the hostess may not have notified the server, as that happens. I walked back to the hostess desk to let them know. Once I shared that information with them. They immediately notified the service and took care of it. I assumed all was good. The problem came when the server "Dawn" felt the complaint was about her. It was obvious through the whole lunch she had an attitude. Did only what she had to. When we advised her my guest could not have meat on the salad because they are from another country and cannot eat meat. She very rudely put her hand into the salad she was making, grabbed the meat and threw it to the side. She delivered food to the next table putting the tray right over my head. Located in downtown Celebration, Colombia Restaurant adds some real flavor to the block! Been here for both lunch and dinner several times, and they never disappoint! The location at Clearwater Beach is also amazing. Great precautions are being taken as a result of COVID, so you can enjoy your dining experience to the fullest. All of the servers, server assistants, hosts, etc. wear masks, and are very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is great with some real funky works of art that just add some personality to the ambiance. Make sure to also grab a sangria pitcher! Full of flavor and fun at the table. The flavors are great, and you won't go wrong with any order. You have to try the soups and salads because they're classic, seeming to have a long history. The white sangria pitcher is one of our favorites. But the star of the show is the paella. A few options available, they were able to accommodate a vegetarian paella for me on the spot for lunch, even when not on the menu. They're made to order, and the wait is worth it! The seafood paella is one of the best you can grab anywhere as well, and plenty for two people. Save room for dessert, the bread pudding is indulgent. The prices aren't the cheapest, but you definitely get what you pay for. A great experience every time, and can't wait to return. Had a reservation of 4 and was promptly seated when we walked in. Got to our table and our server took the drink order as we looked over the menu. Only issue was one of our party wanted the Cuban sandwich and it was not on the menu. They said you can get it, but they don't list it on the dinner menu. (8/26/2023) came with a group of coworker friends for a weekend lunch. It was really a great meal. The atmosphere was elegant and bright, like a courtyard in Seville. Our sever was very professional, efficient, and accommodating. Service was formal. Everything we had was very well executed, delicious flavors, fragrant with heady spices. The Paella Espanola had delicious juice soaked La Bomba rice, fluffy and tender seafood, only the somewhat dried out pork and chicken chunks disappointed a little. From the Tapas, our faves were the Empanadas de Picadillo, Calamare Fritos Romano, and Black Bean Cakes. Portions were large and for sharing. The White Chocolate Bread Pudding and mini Churros were worth saving room for. I know there's now a viral TikTok of the 1905 Salad, and I don't generally fall for such things, but it really is a good salad and dressed tableside.
