Friendly staff and decent amount of tables. It can be a little tight when packed and not too much of a waiting area. THE FOODS: Everything was flavorful and delicious! Com ga comes with a side of soup and some pickled vegetables that pairs well with the chicken. Chicken is moist, flavorful, and you have the option to dip it in the fish sauce. The goi or salad has a good blend of different textures and has a refreshing taste. I got a size large and that was more than plenty to share among 3 peoples. The banh xeo is HUGE! I wish the bean sprout was cooked a little more but still gave a nice crunch, be sure to make a lettuce wrap with the banh xeo and the other veggies. Arrived at 6pm on opening week (Thursday) and expected a long wait, but we were surprisingly the 3rd table to be sat. Their menu is HUGE. Way more options than I was expecting. We ordered the chicken rice with dark meat (CG3), vermicelli bamboo shoot noodle (B1), udon noodle soup (BC1) and chicken rice with cabbage salad (CG6). The food literally came out in under 10 minutes! It was fresh, hot and delicious! Their chicken was super tender and juicy. I loved dipping it in their fish sauce with the pickle peppers. The only minor con was they let us order the bamboo shoot noodles and then brought it out and said they ran out of bamboo, which defeats the purpose of that dish, but they just opened so no big deal. Highly recommend going for early dinner because by 6:45pm the restaurant was completely packed and they were getting slammed with phone orders too. Overall loved their fast service & delicious chicken. We would definitely dine here again and try their other specialty dishes next! read more

I prefer the Arlington location because they seem to have the process down better. I ordered goi with cabbage and bun mang noodles. All delicious. I love the unhatched egg yolk that you can order a bowl on the side and get a handful of eggs. It was so good. Its hard to find unhatched chicken eggs. We were a party of 10 who came in on a Sunday a little before the lunch rush and were quickly seated and served. There were plenty of options to choose from. I went with the classic com ga and shared the goi ga bap cai and goi ga bap chuoi with the rest of my table. The rice was flavorful and complemented the chicken and sides very well. It also came with a side of clear broth which tasted very clean. The fish sauce that came with every order was a good balance of sweet, sour, and salty and great to dip the chicken in. Finally got a chance to try this new restaurant that everyone was hyping up. I got their com ga with dark meat. The chicken was cooked perfectly and paired well with their rice. Their nuoc man added a lot of flavor. My friend got the com ga but with the goi which was refreshing. My only complaint was the soup was literally so salty that we couldn't drink any of it. I think if it wasn't so salty, it would've been a great finish to the meal. Loved our server. She went above and beyond for my kids and brought small bowls, scissors and utensils so it would be easier for us to feed them so I appreciated that. read more

Very basic and natural ingredients, at least taste wise. Comparable to home cooked meals on a Sunday, or even better depending on your home cook, ha. Once they drop off your food and get your order that's about all you'll see from the servers, so order whatever you want up front. Pay at the counter. The food is ok but the service is really bad. I understand that there is a line due to grand opening, but the restaurant does not have waitlist or give number or something, people just all over the place then the server comes to us 'who here first?' to give them the tables. Then the waiting time from placing order to receiving food is more than 20 minutes. And even after all that mess, we ordered 4 dishes but 3 of them were done wrongly. We pointed it out to the server but no apology, he said it was no big difference, just eat it and left. Wow . We have to ask another lady to change the food but still no apology after all. Great CG1 Com Ga on the menu, the chicken was well cooked, the cooked rice was seasoned perfectly with ginger flavor. Item M4 Mien Ga was also delicious with the perfect seasoning on the broth. We're going to be visiting this place at lease twice a week. Highly recommended. read more

The place is new and the food is good. The grand opening rush appears to much thin out on a Saturday afternoon. Menu is mostly limited to chicken and duck. It's repetitive and they could have truncated it to chicken and duck options with starch choices of pho, mi, bun, mieng, banh canh. The one off banh xeo was decent. They'll need to add appetizers and other Vietnamese staples such as rice/vermicelli with grilled pork, or beef. Although they have a specialty, it's going to be difficult for patrons to keep on returning frequently due to limited choices. Wish them much success and hope they'll enlarge their menu to include more varieties. read more
