Clam pot is worth it! The broth is a light garlicky taste and that pairs with all the seafood. You get all the seafood! It is massive and a great mix. I had so much left for another meal. Always so clean and open. Service is good and they are very accommodating if you need anything extra. They packed up the broth separately which was great to keep the seafood good.

Mr. Shrimp is the kind of seafood spot locals love -- laid-back, welcoming, and consistently delicious. It strikes that perfect balance: not overly fancy or pretentious, but definitely nice enough for a solid sit-down dinner. Right from the start, we were impressed by the complimentary crab dip -- warm, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. A real standout appetizer was the conch fritters -- generously stuffed with tender conch and a mochi-like texture that was surprisingly addictive. For the main, I ordered the 1 1/4 lb steamed lobster dinner, which was not only reasonably priced but arrived piping hot and perfectly cooked. You can tell everything is made fresh, and it shows in the quality and presentation. The lobster bisque is also worth calling out -- rich without being heavy, and actually packed with real chunks of lobster, not just cream and filler. Service was friendly, attentive, and never overbearing. All around, this is a place I'd absolutely return to -- not just for the food, but for the warm, easygoing vibe. Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Was a nice experience. The place is bright and chicish. Menu is varied and has plenty of options. We had raw clams , chowders, salad with shrimp, and a lobster salad wrap. Service was great. It's BYOB and plenty of folks were doing that. Well come check it again for other selections.

Always great memories at Mr Shrimp in their comfortable booths.

I like Mr. Shrimp a lot. I like the decor, the painted giant fish on the walls, the freshness of the food, the nice service, the ample parking, the fair prices, and the cleanliness of the food, the presentation, the selection, and the specials. I wish I would have the chance to get there more often. I remember the old place, and they did a fabulous job moving into the new one next door, - they really took it to the next level. We are very blessed here in this area to have so many great options about where to have a nice sit down meal, for lunch or dinner, and this establishment is certainly a gift in that regards. Mr Shrimp is nice for a sit down with a friend, or a visit with kids, - it is impressive, affordable and exciting under all different circumstances.

We have been dining here for many years (in previous location next door too). We usually eat here about once a month between May and November (Winters in Florida). Great food at reasonable prices and large portions. Great service every time. Casual, cool ambiance. Not pretentious like some more expensive places, especially those located on water. A place locals know and love. Where we can bring our favorite wine and have delicious meals. Last evening, we dined here early. Dayana was our attentive and friendly server. We both decided to order seafood specials. The only problem was deciding which ones, the write up on each sounded delicious. Anyway, we had Monkfish Milanese, $32.99 and Halibut Componata $35.99. Both dinners very fresh fish, expertly prepared. We told Dayana to give our compliments to Chef Garcia. My previous review 8 years ago was 4 stars. Back then, I foolishly thought that a restaurant should be fancy, tablecloths, etc. to get 5 stars. Now, I realize that attitude is ridiculous and Mr. Shrimp definitely rates 5 stars.

Cool place. Cool vibe. We went midday on a weekday so it was kind of dead. They had some cool lunch options. My coworker and I both got the fish and chips. They were pretty good. Not OMG I need to eat these everyday good. But they were solid. Service was good too.

Came here for lunch on a Monday. They weren't busy at all and were able to sit immediately. The service was a little slow and the menu wasn't as robust as I was hoping. We got a few items to try/munch on-- shrimp cocktail, oysters and the fried crab sandwich (not much flavor/bland). Ambiance is open & welcoming... food and service, ok.

Parking is plentiful, although some lots are paid while others are free. Be prepared for a wait during peak times, but their waitlist system lets you track your place in line, so getting there early is worth it. We started with the Fire Island Roll and Black Dragon Roll, and both were excellent. The standout entrée was the Hot Buttered Lobster Roll, packed with generous chunks of lobster and easily one of the best lobster rolls on the Shore. The Stuffed Jumbo Shrimp was another winner, with a generous portion and flavorful crab stuffing. The Whole Sea Bass special was slightly smaller than expected but still satisfying, while the Blackened Halibut was cooked well but could have used a sauce to bring the dish together. A special shoutout to the staff, who made the smart decision not to seat guests at umbrella-covered tables when storms were approaching. When the wind and thunder rolled in, everyone remained safely under covered areas. Great seafood, beautiful views, and thoughtful service make Klein's well worth a visit.

Tonight was especially spectacular for me, hence the essay review. The organization starting all the way from the ample parking, to the hostess system + the waiting areas made a 55 min wait absolutely seamless, even during a busy Sunday night rush. This visit was everything I could've asked for, and more. My party of 4 and I shared the following apps & entrees: -fried calamari -soaring scallops -fra diablo mussels -fish tacos -blackened red snapper w/waffle fries Everything was delicious, and the snapper stole the show. We downed our bites with some frozen margaritas, YUM! The steamed veggies w/ the snapper platter were particularly refreshing and perfectly cooked. The blackened seasoning was on point. The mussels are my father's all time favorite, therefore they have a special place in my book; they are a must order. Can't go wrong with a calamari app, but the soaring scallops were a bit underwhelming and would probably switch it for my usual spicy tuna roll next time. I have to take a moment for the most important aspect of our dinner. Our server Todd is the epitome of top tier service and dedication to customer satisfaction. Just based off the introduction, I knew we were in good hands. He made sure we were set up and coursed our meal in such a timely matter that every step of service was hit. He made it his business to touch the table every time food was dropped, which is a BIG green flag. If ever something was needed, we did not have to look far or wait for attention. These are the 101's of the service industry that seem to get lost in the sauce more often than not, and he managed to excel in every category I look for when I'm spending my money out. I hope his pillow is always cold at night. All things combined; the overall family oriented vibe, waterside sunset dining, friendly and efficient staff, great food and reasonably priced drinks, makes for the dream post beach dinner. I have been here a million times and I would come back a million more, and would 100% request Todd. Thanks guys !!!!

We were seated in the covered front deck area which was separated from the interior restaurant. It was an 80-85° day but the temperature in the space was relatively comfortable. We had grabbed a few bottles of white from the conveniently located liquor store across the street. I love me a good BYOB establishment. We started with the tuna pizza, an order of oysters, garlic shrimp, beet salad, and the Bibb salad. (Just a side note, they want you to place your starters and entrees at the same time). Everything came out in a reasonable time and was all very good. The Tuna pizza was not at all what I was envisioning but was a pleasant surprise both presentation and taste wise. The shrimp were interesting because they looked like they would be super flavorful, but just felt kind of flat. Both of the salads were delicious, I really enjoyed the Bibb and would highly recommend it. I had the Bluefin and it was really good, the portion size was fair and the fish was extremely fresh. It was far from the best bluefin I've had, but would recommend it nonetheless. Everyone else enjoyed their entrees as well and overall I would say we had a great time. It was a bit pricey, but it's Spring Lake so that was baked into the cake. Will visit again, and this time I'll remember to order the lobster roll.

We ordered the Lobster Roll - when it came out, my partner and I looked at each other with the same disbelief. It was literally half the size of the Lobster Roll we had before. In addition the lobster wasn't tender - it was chewy. And to 'top it off' it was over seasoned - we ordered the hot, buttered roll. The 'famed' lobster roll was no longer the same epic sandwich. Next, we reordered the Crab Cake. It was an amazing dish when we had it before. Again, it was half the size of the crab cake we had before. While it tasted good, it was a surprise it was much smaller. The saving grace, a Fried Cod sandwich we ordered was very good.

These were for a birthday dinner so very disappointing. Have you ever wondered why a steak can sometimes be cut with a fork, requiring almost no effort to enjoy, while others demand a bit of a workout for your jaw? The secret often lies in a specific section of the beef tenderloin known as the center cut. When you sit down at a high-end steakhouse or prepare a luxury meal at home, the term "filet mignon" is frequently used, but the "center cut" is the true gold standard within that category. It is the portion of the meat that professional chefs prize above all others for its symmetry, its lean profile, and its legendary, buttery texture. Anything pieced together with a string is not center cut.

Plenty of spots in the parking lot and easy to pay for 2 hours on the app - signs don't say what time the "meters" go off, but with 2 restaurants sharing the lot, we figured you probably have to pay until at least 8 pm, and we were early (5:30 ish). Got seated quickly, in a booth near a wide opening out to the beautiful patio on the water. Rather warm in the restaurant and there were overhead fans that weren't rotating, but it wasn't uncomfortable. We'd have had to wait a bit for an outdoor table, and anyway it was a hot humid day and night so indoors suited us just fine. One friend had the lobster bisque, served with a good chunk of a bread that looked tasty (she's not a bread lover but she enjoyed it so it must have been delicious) and she really liked the soup. Then she added another appetizer, spicy garlic shrimp. Generous portion of 6 shrimp. My other friend had the crabcake & shrimp plate, which came with a side salad that our waitress was savvy enough to bring first when our other friend was enjoying her soup. Some crumbled feta on the side salads, a nice touch. When she ordered, my friend asked if the crabcake had a lot of breading and our server assured her that it doesn't; that turned out to be accurate! I also got that side salad with the Ahi tuna bowl I ordered. This was a bowl of dry, bland white rice (might have been jasmine rice but not strong flavor). On one side atop the rice was a good portion of seaweed salad, which I love. Piled sort-of artistically on the other side of the rice mound were several small slices (6? 7?) of perfectly "black and blue" tuna crusted with both black and white sesame seeds. The fish and salad were delicious but not terribly filling. I ate most of the rice. I noticed that there was a marinade at the bottom and began to mix the rice with the marinade that was tasty. They do add 2.5% for credit cards, but that's fair enough these days. Entrées are on the pricey side, I thought ($39. for the crab/shrimp dish, 32 for my tuna, 12 for the lobster bisque), but there aren't any bargains dining out these days. We had no complaints, other than my somewhat dry rice. I'd like to give it 3 1/2 stars but will err on the generous side. We'll probably return next year on our beach day!

Well we ordered them and there was definitely chilies! My friend could not eat them at all. I like spicy and even my eyes were watering. We chose to sit in the enclosed veranda at the front of the restaurant; Amelia's is located on Ocean Ave. and has some beautiful views! We started with a few cocktails - my partner got the Lavender Martini, which she said was very good. I got the Pineapple Margarita, which was excellent! I saw meatballs on the menu - I always order meatballs when having Italian cuisine (Amelia's represents itself as '...a blend of old school Italian and contemporary continental cuisine..'. They were some of the best meatballs I've ever had. Amelia's blends pork, veal and beef for its meatballs - they're tender and seasoned perfectly! The marinara was excellent and there was a dollop of ricotta to stir into the sauce. It was an epic appetizer! For our entrees, I ordered Wild Caught Shrimp Oreganata with mixed vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. The shrimp were butterflied and quickly grilled - they had a plump, tender interior with a grilled exterior, in a delicious sauce. The potatoes were very good, and while I'm not a big fan of the mixed vegetables, they were good. My partner ordered one of the specials - the Lobster Capelinni. - 6 oz. of lobster on top of angel hair pasta with a delicious tomato-brandy sauce! We couldn't believe how much lobster was on the pasta - it was tender and very tasty! After 2 excellent entrees, we decided to try the desserts. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. I ordered the Carrot Cake (one of my favorite desserts) and my partner ordered the Chocolate Cake, one of her favorite desserts! My 'carrot cake' wasn't a cake but a conglomeration of icing and thick layers of 'fudge-like' cake. Visions of a fluffy, rich cake with freshly grated carrots and 'warm spices' flew out the window! My partners chocolate cake was dry and not moist at all - I've had Duncan Hines chocolate cakes that tasted better!! While the desserts were a big disappointment, the meal was excellent and we will return to Amelia's on our next visit to Spring Lake.

Perfect to enjoy a bit of my sweet snack and drink before continuing on. -A very kind team. It seemed busy but everyone was so lovely to chat with. I can't wait to come back and try more of their incredible looking pastries! The great cafe is just a few blocks away from the water, so make the trip the next time you leave the beach and need a caffeine or pastry refresh from the sun.

Oh my lord, everything here was so good. We tried a bunch of pastries and honestly everything was…read moreperfectly baked. The laminated pastries were insanely good, especially the almond croissant, pretzels, cookies, the coconut-rimmed pastry, and a few others I'm sadly forgetting the names of. The matcha was also delicious and clearly well made, and the cold brew was so good too, $5 for a small cup and totally worth it. They also have a punch card for drinks, which is a nice bonus. Staff was on it and efficient, and the bakery itself feels incredibly well run. Timing definitely matters here. In early May, we got lucky with a shorter line and lots of options around noon on a Saturday. By mid-May, the line was already down the sidewalk around 9 a.m. on a Saturday during Mother's Day weekend. There's no indoor seating, just a couple outdoor tables. Definitely check it out!
