    Salmon

Shoutout to Janet, Christian, and Brenda! That food put the biggest smile on my face this past Wednesday, my goodness that stuff was good. The spinach mashed potatoes were the farthest thing from carton potatoes. And that rib??? Oh my so tender and perfect. And the salmon????? Shieeeettt you already know it was heat. Love me some wild caught salmon cooked to perfection by lovely people who put passion into their cooking. Yum!!! See you next for ox tail. That's still my favorite ;)

Very light and clean food, delicious homemade food. It's a mom & daughter catering. Recommend couscous, turkey meatball, and homemade spicy sauce. Garlic chicken and mashed potatoes also tasted good, strongly recommend salmon and ox tail. Expect $10~$15 for a healthy meal.

Today, I decided to stray away from the tamales that I usually get on Wednesdays at the farmer's market. I found Comfort Kitchen and decided to order the turkey meatballs as an entree and a cous cous as a side. I particularly liked the heaping spoonful of gravy on my deal. The food was just fair here I must say.

Great staff and awesome food! I highly recommend the oxtail as well as the rest of their food.

I went with a couple of friends for dinner- we were around the area and thought it was an opportune time to show them a place they weren't familiar with! I've been here since I was a kid, and though some things changed, alot hasn't! This was during a world cup game, so it was very lively at pub areas as they were broadcasting live. Everyone was so invested, from the patrons, chefs, servers, and even line cooks! Went to a stall selling the 'best corned beef sandwich' from Magee's kitchen. The servers and cook were super nice and the corned beef on display made my mouth water! It was very good, and paired with their blood orange soda, wasn't too heavy! It was a big enough sandwich that I took the other half home! I also got a cornbread muffin from Gumbo pot- which was good but a little dry. There's plenty of shade, though the area is mostly outdoors- lots of trees and buildings with covers and awnings. There's a fancy French market in there and plenty of eating options (though open hours vary). Come by this historic stop, walk through the Grove, and enjoy the hustle and bustle!

A great experience for locals and tourists alike. Location 4 stars: In the Fairfax District area of Los Angeles, to the West of the Grove. It has busy parking lot which is usually quite full. Although some restaurants will validate part of the parking fees, be prepared to pay somewhere between $10 and $56 depending on how long you stay and which stores you visit. Make sure you check the parking rates sign by the entrance and plan accordingly. You can also park in the Grove's multi-story parking structure, but they will not accept validation from Farmer's Market businesses. The Grove also has Valet parking on premises. Venue 4 stars: Nice rustic but well-kept open air set up that has been around for almost 100 years! It is focused on local and international food. As you stroll through the market you will encounter gourmet food stores (such as Monsieur Marcel Gourmet Store), meat counters (such as Huntington Meats), takeout restaurants (such as Stara Polish Pierogi and Sausage, Banana Leaf Singaporean restaurant and Oh My Dumpling Chinese food), and fine dining restaurants (such as ETTORE OSTERIA Italian and Monsieur Marcel French Bistro). Once you are on premises you can use the Grove trolly to visit the (attached) Grove complex.

Huge parking lot and the road on the way is smooth for any bikers. Oh and if you're a Yelper who prefers to Yelp things before going, like me, you'll be happy not to see many people going to the market just to be in the seasonal shopping mood. They're probably also looking for the top organic goods in competition! Basically, everything is fresh, and by my estimation, the last place in West Hollywood you'd expect to be so hidden and fairly cheaper than the rest of the surrounding Los Angeles' organic (and fit, duh) culture. I enjoyed a whole wheat pita, heirloom garlic & tomato, Bub & Grandma's rye loaf, Nonna's Nutella croissant, pomegranate, Bosc pear, blackberries, chives, cabbage, cukes, and juice to choose from a variety of collections. No cancel culture here, it's such open and cool vibes, I feel like part of a cool movement and foodie freak club.

We were literally overwhelmed with so many vendors & their delicious samples. What a serendipitous find! Seriously, after two hours of walking around & tasting the samples offered, my belly was quite full. But we definitely wanted to spend some money with these vendors! As we'd planned to travel on a train the next day, we had to choose things that didn't need continuous refrigeration, &/or we could eat before we'd have a fridge again the following night.
