New to the area and wanted to start trying out some local places. While there was a little bit of a wait for food, it was worth it. Absolutely delicious! So good... we forgot to document it first with photographs! We had honey BBQ traditional wings, a margherita pizza and garlic knots. All were amazing. Well at this little dive I had some of the best pizza I've had in a while and they have craft beers and it is just so authentic a little dump on the side of the road with lots of bikers in locals. Can you ask for anything more. We were out of town and I was looking for a place to get a little something to eat and so we of course yelped it and it came up with great pizza and local fair so we decided to give it a try and we were glad we did what a cool place stop by if anybody is in the area. read more

Well as much as I try this place is just not one to like. I think it is a managment issue. Not enough help to serve the customers. Several times I have sit down for t20 min when not busy and no one bothers to ask me if I want a drink. The poor girl that does bar has more than she can handle. I was in a hurry so I decided to call ahead with my order, I was not told that my pizza would not be at the business address, when I got there the waitress told me to go orders are across the street, I walked across the street to the only building that looked right but it was another pizza place, i walked back across the street to ask the waitress to clarify then drove to the location. it was difficult to get in and out of the small driveway, had to do a three point turnaround. The whole process took twice as long and to top it off, the pizza was not up to your usual quality, the crust did not have that brick oven flavor. I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture.. we ordered for delivery and first before I dive in I have to say our deli every driver Lexi was so sweet I can't express how much that meant I felt so bad I didn't tip her more I wish I hadn't done contactless delivery because she definitely deserved more from us. My neighborhood raves about this place and being new I decided to try it out and I am not disappointed! We got the pretzel bites and they we're definitely different when I opened them I was disappointed because it wasn't your traditional pretzel it was like garlic knots, but then when I tried them I was like holy cow why have I never thought to put garlic knots in beer cheese this is amazing!! The beer cheese was so good we even dipped our pizza crust in it! (Even thought the crust was really good without it!) we got the Buffalo chicken pizza everyone raves about however we got it with the fried chicken but I'm sure the grilled is just as good but oh my gosh I can't wait to try their wings after this pizza the chicken was not only flavorful but juicy too. And their ranch is probably the best ranch ever I wish I asked for more on the pizza! I've visited Commandoughs a few times. The first time was shortly after they opened and the service was extremely slow for just ordering one pizza to-go. The pizza during that visit was mediocre. However I did want to give them another try as I LOVE to have good local establishments in Zephyrhills. I am so glad I gave them another chance!! I've tried the Vital Veggie Pizza, Admiral Sub and the Zeppolis. Everything was delicious and service had much improved! Please keep them in mind next time you're craving pizza. read more

First time here and it was good. It's a small, extremely casual place with four booths and a handful of high-top tables inside. There is also a decent sized bar, of course. There appears to be more tables outside with a walk-up window to order from. We had Bruschetta for an appetizer and it was absolutely delicious. My husband had a calzone which not only looked great but tasted great as well. My daughter had chicken wings - sports bar staple so if you mess these up, there are problems. But the wings were tasty and perfectly sauced. I had a small Caesar salad with chicken. I was told they didn't have grilled chicken -not sure if they never have grilled chicken or were just out. Instead they cut up a chicken tender for the salad. (Our server did inform me about this as I was ordering so it wasn't a surprise.) The chicken was really good but being on the Caesar salad was just okay, as I prefer grilled chicken on this salad. So next time, I'll definitely steer more towards a sub or pizza. Also, hubby and I both had cups of broccoli and cheese soup, which was really good. The food doesn't come out too quickly so I wouldn't suggest dining in if you're on a schedule and need to leave by a certain time (or perhaps call your order in ahead of time) but service was good, food was excellent and we will definitely eat here again. read more

The food is absolutely amazing. From the mozzarellas to the pizza and wings. However, we sat down and had to grab our own menus because the servers didn't know whose table we were. We waited 20 minutes for our appetizers, it was worth it based off the food. Lexi was our server, by far the rudest I've personally had. We decided to move to a booth because our table was so wobbly. We brought over only our drinks because the table had not been wiped off, Lexi suggested we move to that table. The table was wet, she grabbed our pizza holder and put on top of the wet table. My boyfriend got up to take it off the table and proceeded to grab napkins to wipe it off, she was standing right next to him serving a different table. I can understand if you're busy, but not even an offer to wipe off the table or to apologize for the inconvenience shocks me. Our meals came out, she dropped it down and didn't ask if we needed anything else. Didn't bother coming by to ask us how the food was. Lexi seemed very nonchalant and unprofessional, all you're doing is the bare minimum, at least make an effort to make our dining experience better. read more

Pizza when delivered is awesome. Cooked exactly like we like it... crispy crust and good ingredients. However, their other menu items aren't as good... took about 30 minutes to get French fries and "pretzel" bites. Fries were somewhat soggy and the pretzel bites are really just garlic knots in little balls instead of knots. Stick with the pizza and you won't be disappointed. read more

We tried Commandough's for lunch on a holiday weekend. They had a pretty good selection of draft beers. Our server was quick and friendly. We ordered our pizza and a couple beers. The pizza was just okay and was soggy in the middle. We were swarmed by houseflies. The restaurant has an indoor/outdoor bar area that flows into the dining area so I assume that's how the flies are getting in, but it was really bad - bad enough for us to take our pizza and leave. 3 stars for our great server and good beer selection. No stars for the soggy pizza and the flies. read more

My wife and I have been coming to this place since they opened up a short while ago. The chef salad is a good choice. My favorite is the pizza with extra cheese, normal pepperoni with onion. They're soft drinks taste good and I also enjoy their unsweet iced tea. If I had any complaint at all it would be that the entire outside section is a smoking area. I HATE smoking! I will be glad when Florida's laws start banning smoking around entryways and in restaurant common areas. Now back to the pizza! If you love pizza and a laid-back atmosphere you will love this place! Came in for the first time tonight. It's always busy here and we figured "it's gotta be good!". We were terribly wrong. Tee was our server. We sat down and got menus and a greeting in a reasonable time. She let us order a soda knowing her CO2 wasn't working. I asked for a lemonade. She said it was watered down too. I said ok. A water is fine, she brings me a DIRTY cup. The bottom of the cup was COVERED in grim at the bottom. She rolled her eyes walking away. She proceeded to help everyone else out with their alcoholic beverages and I guess her regulars. The other girl there was no help. On her phone and eating talking to one person the entire time. I finally got a drink in a to go cup, the pizza was thin and not cooked well. The garlic knots were good. Overall service is a -1 with how slow it was on a Monday night. Can't imagine how it is on a busy night lol. I hope they do some more training on how to be personable and better servers. We didn't appreciate any of the nasty looks and attitudes from the servers. We could tell we weren't the only ones with bad service as the table in front of us had missing food and bad service too. Never again. read more

Ordered and waited at least 20 minutes when it was not that busy. Explanation from server was there was not a bar back. Again not that busy. Can you get the bucket yourself?? Ordered an appetizer to go when our bucket was finally delivered. Finished 5 beers and still no carry out. Asked several times. Finally arrived. We live less than 5 minutes from the restaurant. We wanted to support the local business by ordering over 100 dollars worth of food. We even drove out on our motorcycles for no other reason than to eat at Commandoughs. Naturally, we could not eat on our motorcycles nor did we want the business to get in trouble so we decided to eat in the parking lot next door where the business was closed for the evening. The workers at Commandoughs treated us so terribly as they ran us off. We were not even on their property any longer. We had even parked the bikes in the other parking lot. We were not being loud, obnoxious or rambunctious. There was no need to interrupt our dinner by asking, "are you guys going to leaving soon?"....more than once. We just wanted to eat and be on our way. We will never waste a beautiful ride on our bikes to be treated like that again. I wish zero stars were an option. read more
