A really cute coffee shop, bakery, breakfast spot in one place. Great menu with lots of seating.

Known for their bright blue tile exterior and interior, I was excited to try their coffee after everyone raved about it! I ordered a simple iced americano with oat milk, and their coconut oatmeal. The americano was delicious, and while the oatmeal was a bit on the sweet side, I still enjoyed it.

So good! First time here and wanted to try out couple items. I got the double scoop gelato ($6.90), seasonal danish ($5), and a large iced blue lavender matcha ($6.75). Danish was very flavorful and delicious. The matcha drink was good, but a bit too sweet and matcha flavor was very light. Gelato was good as well! Interior is very elegant and beautiful. There was one staff working in the front. He made the drinks, got the gelato for me, and working the cashier. The only downside is that the business hours are short. I'm here in Dallas for two weeks for work, and by the time I get back to the hotel, this place is closed.

Egg Sandwich, Avocado Toast Super just okay food that is quite pricey. Perhaps it tastes better in store but this was pretty disappointing and not worth the price!

Awesome little place for a quick snack or meal. This was recommended by my sister that works in Downtown. She's a huge fan! I came at 1pm Saturday and traffic was killer with a lot of construction. The oasis they create inside the store is so calming though! Everything was pleasant to look at and comfy chairs! I wanted something for a light brunch and got an egg and cheese bagel sandwich and butterscotch latte. The latte was unique and creamy, if you enjoy a sweeter latte it's perfect with a foam top! The sandwich was soft and fresh and the eggs were perfectly scrambled and once again- FRESH! Perfect basic bagel sandwich for a person looking for something classic. The service was nice, the girl at the counter asked all the customary questions and was very pleasant. They even allowed me to sample their gelato that was from an Argentinian company. A bit sweet for me but was super creamy. I loved the open kitchen view though. All the staff in the back hard at work making delicious fresh food. They emphasized catering a lot so I can't imagine how much they produce in a day. Thanks for your hard work guys!

Great location in downtown Dallas. This place has European cafe vibes. The store is very clean and well laid out. They have tons of options to choose from from breakfast to lunch to pastries and custom drinks and juices. I got a coffee cake Diet Coke and juice and it was about $13. I would recommend this location

We had a breakfast burrito, breakfast croissant and we also tried the breakfast tacos which were all excellent! The whipped ricotta toast was excellent. I highly recommend the pistachio lattes. Very nice space and very quick service. The staff was also delightful.

We were the first customers to arrive and had never been here before, though we've often seen it busy. The food came out in about 10 minutes and was very good. The burrito was a bit too spicy for my taste, but the Croque Madame was hearty and plentiful. One small downside: the only salt and pepper available were the tiny packets included with the disposable utensil pack. I would've preferred real shakers or larger packets. Also, the $6 small orange juice bottle felt overpriced. That said, we ate at 7 a.m. and I was still full at 1 p.m. Glad we gave it a try and would definitely come back.

Was in the area and decided to stop by for breakfast since I have seen this place many times online and never tried it. Such vibrant decor and very friendly staff! I love that very much I got an almond milk vanilla lavender latte with a little bit of cinnamon and a jalapeño cheddar biscuit sandwich! Omg both were a hit! Definitely will be back just not frequently because downtown parking is madness lol.

Stopped here for breakfast before heading out of town while staying in Dallas. We had breakfast, and I ordered a breakfast burrito- which comes with a couple different breakfast meats, eggs, and sauce. In addition, we shared an order of breakfast potatoes. The burrito was very good, a nice layering of flavors inside with the sauce as a added spice and the eggs serving as the glue keeping everything together. I think the burrito is a solid choice - and it's a non-messy handheld for consumption. I would say the breakfast potatoes however, were the real winner and blew my mind. Served in a large paper box, these small potatoes were salted and seasoned, and after their temperature dropped from the surface of the sun, these were great. You absolutely get your money's worth with those and they are shareable! Also added a vanilla iced latte - which was good Staff was friendly and service was quick!

I've been going here for many years. It is THE BEST breakfast/lunch cafe downtown and honestly one of the best in Dallas. The bread is made in house and made in the European style. The meats are butchered downstairs and sourced from local farms and also aged in house. The steak fries are my favorite I've ever had in my whole life. The avocado toast is also the only avocado toast I will buy because it's so good. I try to replicate it at home because it is bar non, the best avocado toast. They also have a small retail type section where you can buy rotisserie chicken made in house and wine and very good quality ingredients like tomato sauces and other canned foods... their coffee is fantastic and the best part, it's not over priced, you can get $15 - $20 meal and it's hearty and filling and healthier than other options. OMG! I almost forgot the Croque Madame! It's literally soooooo good! And the Cinnamon roll has plenty of flavor and filling AND it's soft and gooey, not hard and dry. They make the cutest patisserie and the gelato is fantastic as well! Don't sleep on the Commissary. It's AMAZING!

I had the strawberry. It was much too airy. Not bad flavor, just not intense enough. Some of their other fruit flavors, like mango and raspberry looked like they would have intense enough flavor. I tried the coffee one and I didn't think it had enough coffee flavor to it. Prices seem reasonable. The service was friendly. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. The beignets were made fresh to order and took about 7 minutes to come out. They were hot, soft, and very fluffy, almost more similar to a donut than a traditional beignet. Since most of my beignet experience comes from New Orleans, Louisiana, I definitely had a different texture in mind going in. I personally wish they had been a little crispier, especially around the edges, but they were still decent and enjoyable. Overall, I had a good experience. No need, but do know this: What's da Scoop? serves up better ice cream than... Blue Bell. I know I know, it's blasphemous, and my punishment should be nothing short of burning at the stake for such a claim. Curious as to why? Read on! Star 1: How was the service and atmosphere? First and foremost, let's line up the competition shall we? Yes, Blue Bell is the king of kings when it comes to the Texas ice cream scene, and you can buy it literally everywhere from 7-Eleven to Whole Foods. Additionally, there are some local joints that dish up both Blue Bell and their own treats as well, so let's take a look at who they are: Coolhaus (2 Stars): http://www.yelp.com/biz/coolhaus-dallas#query:Cool%20Haus Tiff's Treats (4 Stars): http://www.yelp.com/biz/tiffs-treats-dallas Pokey-O's (3 Stars): http://www.yelp.com/biz/pokey-os-cookies-and-ice-cream-dallas Obviously, the closest comparison here is Coolhaus in that it's another food truck, but even so, WdS takes the cake when it comes to service. Friendly faces, abundant samples, and quick service. What more could you ask for? Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? So today at Klyde Warren Park was what I commonly refer to as a "spontaneous cheat day" no? I think you get the idea. I classify the day as such because I opted for not one or two, but THREE scoops of ice cream. I simply couldn't make up my mind, and for good reason. What an amazing menu. Yes, Blue Bell can get exotic, but these were unbelievable. Let's hear some of them, with my three selections up top: Haley's Comet: Vanilla + Chocolate Ice Cream with caramel and chocolate covered caramel cups Yippee Skippee: Peanut Butter Ice Cream with chocolate covered pretzels Ultimate Oreo: Vanilla + Oreo Crumb Ice Cream with Oreos Kitty Kitty Bang Bang: Chocolate Ice Cream with Raspberry Swirls, Oreos and Chocolate Chunks Maui Passion: Banana Puree, Strawberry Swirls and Oreos woah. as in... wow. The best part? Three scoops were only $5.95! Is that cheap? Well, no, but it's the same price as my ice cream sandwich at Coolhaus! Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? You know heaven? Or at least the notion of heaven if you're not of the religiously inclined? We'll call it euphoria no? Well here's what you're going to do. Take that euphoria, freeze it, and put it in a cup, because there, ladies and gentlemen, is the only comparison I have to specifically my scoop of Ultimate Oreo as well as the 'Zoreo' flavor that I tasted. As I mentioned, these flavors were right on par with Blue Bell, and the Oreo flavors were even better. Not overly frozen even though I came towards the end of the day, not too sweet, and just the right amount of richness. It's not gelato, so don't expect that, but it's purely homemade and all in all just a great treat regardless of the weather. Dual Stars Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? Alas, the elusive fifth star. "But Paul! You've raved on and on!" Indeed I have dear reader, indeed I have, but there is but one problem. While I love ice cream as much as near every puppy I've ever encountered, I also love cookies. At Pokey-O's and Tiff's Treats? I can have my ice cream AND my cookies. So hear me out: If What's da Scoop were to have cookies? I would truly be the perfect dessert spot. In that they don't, I simply can't give the fifth star. That having been said? WdS is a great new addition to the Dallas Food Truck scene, and I have no doubt that they're going to be a smash hit come Summertime. No Star Granted.
