Amazing service department! This dealership is not the closest to me but I wanted to give them a try. I made an appointment for a simple oil change thinking it was gonna take 2-3 hours like at my local dealership in Glendale. I was immediately greeted by Carlos the service advisor. He went over my car service history and thoroughly explained pricing and everything my car needed. He never pressured me into making any decisions. The oil change only took 30 minutes! I recently purchased a used car from this dealership, specifically from a man named Fred M. Bell. The car was purchased through Barrett-Jackson classic car auction. Barrett-Jackson does NOT allow you to even touch the cars, let alone do a full inspection or test drive before you buy something. You basically have to trust the word of the seller in the information they provide. Mr. Fred M. Bell fully failed to disclose some issues with the car I purchased which included a few minor things, and an oil leak which is a potential safety issue. The issues were discovered AFTER purchasing the car and bringing it home. When I reached out to Barrett-Jackson, they sent a grievance form to Mr. Fred M. Bell with my concerns, the biggest one being the OIL LEAK. Mr. Fred M. Bell basically responded with a middle finger to me and said, "Not willing to provide any assistance..." and, "I am not going to have any dialogue with the buyer..." I didn't ask Mr. Fred M. Bell to buy me a new car, I just want the oil leak fixed. The same oil leak that Mr. Fred M. Bell DID NOT DISCLOSE in the car description - an issue I had no way of knowing about at or before the time of purchase. I can safely say I will never again purchase a vehicle from Barrett-Jackson, and when I do move back to the LA area, I would absolutely NEVER consider purchasing ANY vehicle - new or used - from this dealership. I would strongly encourage you to do the same. Mr. Fred M. Bell was given the opportunity to make this right, and he spat in my face. They raised the purchase price $2,000 more, because they knew i was interested in the van! Pics below show how evil and greedy they are! The only reason I couldn't do a deal the 1st day i came was because they loaned it to the general managers friend. He accumulated over hundreds of miles on it (almost a 1,000 miles). Had to wait several days for him to return the vehicle. When i came back to do the deal when the van was returned they raised the purchase price like leeches! I was inconvenienced And they screw me $2,000 more?!?!They knew i needed it, so they took advantage of the situation. Got screwed. Don't come here. As my husband was calling around to check out a Chevy bolt most dealerships either had no inventory or limited cars and told him he would need to make a bid price to see if they would sell him the car or not. He drove out to a different dealership about an hour plus drive away only to find they sold all the cars and only had the larger more expensive bolt available. J left and headed to Community Chevy where they said they only had one Bolt left but did not pressure him on the price. Unfortunately on his drive to Burbank our old car completely died! Our daughter and I drove over while he waited on a tow truck. We worked with Jason and Elijah and they were both welcoming and patient. Elijah brought my daughter hot chocolate and didn't mind her reading aloud to herself hehe. I already had a pre approval letter from my credit union and logged into my accounts on their computer for other documentation needed. When the tow truck was delayed and J couldn't get to Burbank before they closed, Jason suggested Elijah drive the new car to Alhambra for us and J would just sign his part of the paperwork at our house. I really appreciated their flexibility and working with us while we were in what could have been a stressful situation. I bought the car new here in 13. Been taking it here since. They've been great until this happened. This is plain wrong how they handled and treated me on this matter. So... DO NOT come here!!! Go ANYWHERE ELSE! To my dismay, I got the car back only to notice that my front bumper has been destroyed and I now have a big gap between my pass side fender/bumper. I called Carlos over to show him. But all he did was blame me for it. He didn't have a single solution for me. Not 1 way to fix their mess up. Brought it up to the service manager Mauricio who was even worse. Before that, I also noticed my headlights were now fogging up like crazy too. They didn't before. Also, they did NOT TELL ME that they broke my bumper. I discovered it because I ALWAYS check my car for damages before I drive off. The upper grille is completely cut in half from the impact. Also, the bumper attachments broke off on pass side. They were molded on the bumper. Now they broke off and that's why there is a huge gap with visible broken pieces in it. There are other broken parts too. Now my bumper is barely being held together by the 2 (pass side) fender bolts, the tabs along the top and the driver side attachments. The 3rd bumper rivet broke out. Now I can't screw that 3rd bolt in (pass side). There should be 3 in there. All due to the terrible scrape from the kid in front who drives our cars. He scraped so bad that my bumper broke and there are missing chunks underneath my custom made splitter. My car isn't a regular car. It's a custom built car with a lot of money and time put into it. It should be obvious that my car requires special care and attention and only people who know how to drive a lowered car should be the ONLY ones allowed to drive it!!! Or better yet, don't drive it! Well, not this Burbank CA dealership! This place has a bad steep patch of road that cars go to and from the work bays. When a car is lowered, you HAVE to angle it a lot (sideways) on that steep patch of pavement. Well, this kid took it straight at the steepest part. While only slightly turning it AT too high a speed and destroyed my hand built front end. He thought it was just like driving any other car. He should have taken the car completely sideways, much slower and earlier than he did. I brought it up with the service manager MAURICIO who is real scum by the way. Showed him everything and he refuses to take responsibility by replacing it. It's not like I broke it. Obviously, they were the last to work on it and touch it before I came by. I feel SOOOO CHEATED by this branch!! I gave them $1200 for repairs and they refuse to take responsibility for breaking my bumper. What a BAD business these people are running. With an incompetent lowlife of a service manager MAURICIO, a service representative who lacks integrity/responsibility CARLOS and unqualified dishonest kids out front driving cars they SHOUDN'T. The service manager MAURICIO clearly isn't on top of things here. He can't even manage himself, much less the people out front or inside properly. So he blames the customer for HIS failures. How can you even have a business when this is how you operate? You are thieves!! This manager MAURICIO and the person who drove my car (broke my bumper, did not tell me) are pure scum. I don't think MAURICIO even talked to the kid about it either. They are unqualified and unfit for the jobs they have and that reflects poorly on this company who chose them for it. A good business or even a normal business is one that fixes or replaces what they broke. They actually take responsibility for their mistakes. They actually tell the customers if they broke or scratched something. NOT this Burbank CA dealership! This one practices BAD business, lacks honesty, integrity and any sort of responsibility while blaming the customer. I feel extremely cheated!! This is not right! Not at all! What a horrible experience I had with these guys. The salesman, Arby and sales manager (a heavier set Hispanic man) needs new careers. I came in looking to get a 2021 Colorado and trade in my 2020 Mazda6 grand touring, 12k miles, clean title, a little couple dings. There's bafoons offered me 17,5. 17,5 for a practically brand new car. Edmunds, caravan, etc priced me at 22-24. Usually a dealership will take a little off the car you're buying or give you a fair offer for your trade in. These guys wanted it both ways and were extremely rude about. I was on the edge of writing a review, but just had 2 additional complaints come up. I initially chose Community because they finally agreed to not require the dealer addons after some back and forth, but knowing what I know now I would have just walked away and found someone else. Most of the complaints stem from the fact that this dealer is offloading a fleet order that fell through. They didn't fully disclose the impacts of that distinction, but here is what I learned so far: --The warranty started almost a year before the purchase date, so the bumper to bumper warranty was almost 1/3 gone. --None of the educator/military/healthcare discounts are eligible. --The GM EV charger install promo is also not eligible. The first bullet they warned me about after we haggled and agreed to a price. The second they informed me right before going into financing. And finally one of the most important considerations they completely avoided and I found out weeks after the fact when I was trying to fill out the charger install forms. My salesperson input my email address incorrectly so I didn't get the document package and had to call to get it corrected. They also made me wait 45 min after completing the deal because they were busy with other customers...but they could've easily handed me off to any of the other salespeople sitting around idle. And then finally today I just received a toll evasion notice for a week ago for the vehicle I traded in a month ago, so clearly the DMV wasn't informed of the transfer of ownership. Do NOT TAKE your car there for service. I have a 2020. Which has already been diagnosed w brake problems at another dealership. My car still under warranty so I brought it here. I had an appt. once I told them I did t want to pay 65 for an oil change my car got zero service. Jose Guzman was assigned as my "serviceadvisor". He's a LIAR . He told me that the tech was driving my car around and didn't notice the sounds and problems I was describing. He LIED and said that the car was put on the lifts and the brakes inspected. But that DID NOT HAPPEN. My receipt says I declined to have the 15 Point inspection. All I declined was the oil change and have the text to prove it look I posted it here. Had they done the routine maintainence that my warranty covers they could have actually seen or at least inspected the brake system. I wonder if they even drove my car as it shows the color of MY car as white on the service order. My car is SILVER. The cashier ran out and gave me the customer experience managers card after I complained. She should get a raise and JOSE GUZMAN should be FIRED for being a liar. He was very nice and they delivered the truck to my house. Unfortunately, their manager/finance policies do not make sense. I bought a truck with my name and my dad's name on the truck. I had a check(from my bank) in only my name to pay for the truck and they would not accept it and said my dad had to be on it as well. They said GM would not accept the check. I worked in finance for years and my dad worked at Chevy for years and we both know that's BS. Took my car under warranty to get my transmission fixed. I took a picture of how much gas I had at drop off (full tank) and they had my car for 21 days. I went to pick up and somehow there was only half a talk in it. I told the worker and they said we told the service manager and brushed it off. 5/5 stars for our salesman Brian Hernandez. I saw a beautiful used 2018 Chevrolet Trax that we took out for a test drive and noticed small things such as alignment. He agreed and didn't try to talk his way out and actually got one of his service techs to fix it before purchasing the vehicle! He was super courteous and I felt more like I was talking to a knowledgeable friend rather than a stranger salesperson. HOWEVER, as good as my experience was with Brian I do have some issues with the Finance "manager" Nadia. As it was my first time purchasing a car, I wasn't exactly sure what I was getting myself into. During the "paperwork" (which was a fancy digital table screen), I felt as if she took advantage of me and my co-signer as she didn't explain any of the Financing other than the monthly payment & especially didn't point out the HIDDEN FEES (paint protection, anti theft, etc.) I didn't even know who I was financing with until I saw the hard inquiry on my credit. Buying a used car greatly priced at about $13,000... I put a $3k down payment and walked away with a $19k finance charge when I was expecting $10k. Which basically means I will be spending $10k more than I was expecting to and that's only if I pay car in full and avoid interest. All in all I'm looking at a $27,000 vehicle if paid over the full 3 years which is more than double of the value of the car. I am very displeased with how little she explained the financing and how she pressured me into purchasing the extended warranty & gap Platinum package. Borderline unethical but if you can avoid that part of the process everything was perfect. Thank you all either way and it is my fault for not crunching the numbers myself and asking more questions. She definitely knows what she's doing so in a financial standpoint she's definitely good for the Community Chevrolet team. In terms of ethics, not so much. At least she got her commission but I do feel bad about the other customers who's she's done this to. 5/5 for Brian but 2/5 for Nadia. The sales people at Community Chevrolet are very dishonest and will lie to you to get to come in for a deal that they won't honor, even when it is writing from then via texts. Sarah stated on the phone with me that I would only pay MSRP (with no market adjustment) and for the "Community Protection Package" which was $1,795 but also was very negotiable. There was no mention in our conversation of a mandatory digital license plate for $995, and when I got an email from her dealership including this, I texted her and she confirmed back via text I would only pay what we agreed to on the phone. In the dealership they said that the digital license plate was mandatory, and if I didn't want it they would do a dealer markup of $1000. I showed the texts to the sales person and they still refused to honor what was agreed to verbally and also in text. Chad, the General Manager, was was not in that day so I reached out to him via the voicemail and email information he typically provides in his responses to negative reviews. In my email I provided copies of the texts. Chad did nothing to address the issue of the lies and deception that occurred. He only confirmed that the $1000 digital license plate was non-negotiable and must be purchased when you buy a car from them. If Chad, the General Manager is ok with these deceptions and lies, how can anyone be able to trust Community Chevrolet in buying a car and the subsequent care a dealership provides? I brought my truck in because of a check engine light. Codes were checked and it was determined that the fuel pump control module needed replacing. I agreed to the repair but upon picking up my truck the service adviser notified me that h check engine light was still on. I was told it was because there was a possible short in a communication cable from the ECM (engine control module). The advisor and technician both told me the part was no longer produced by GM and that basically there is no fix. They said I could possibly find a used one but they wouldn't recommend that. They pretty much threw in the towel and couldn't give me any further advice. I was kind of shocked. Hard to believe GM no longer produces parts for a 2016 Silverado. I have purchased two Silverados from Community but if this is how they stand by their product, it's the last. read more

One of the worst customer experiences I've had with a dealership.!! Do not go here to service your vehicles. They told me the price to fix a sensor on my 2003 suburban. Which was around $500 with labor. What they didn't tell me is that they used something else to fix another issue. Without my consent. So when I came in and talked to HUEGO my bill was $1023!!! Talked to management they took off $100 and were apologetic that the job was already done and gave me some excuse about my suburban was old and blah blah bs excuse. Do not come here!!
