We were directed here as a 4.3 star review on google maps. The food was much like the atmosphere, bland and nondescript.

We walked in and were greeted immediately and told we could "sit wherever." Selected a booth which is nice and comfy near a window. Server stopped by and grabbed our drinks quickly (coffee), which came hot and kept being refilled. We've visited quite a few times as I like that we can order breakfast or lunch items. He ordered his favorite with extra coney sauce. To my surprise, today the menu was updated (we've not been for a while) and they had m&m pancakes which I haven't had since I was a child. Theyre huge and delicious. I took 2 home. The food came FAST (af boi ), and hot. Which is always my goal for breakfast. The breakfast burrito has a lot of hash browns, which I didn't realize, but the chorizo had good flavor. Also rather large and took half home. Under $40 for 2 coffees and 3 items is a steal these days. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a charming place to stop for breakfast. It has a bit of a smalltown diner vibe, which is so quaint. It's always clean, and if you have a second, drop by the bathrooms. They're cute and decorated well, but the arches in the hallways on the way there are dreamy! Good food. Good prices. Always great service. We will be back :)

The waitress was friendly and took our order but things started to go downhill when she only brought part of the drink order. We thought she would be back with the rest of the drinks. 20 mins later someone else brought our food to us. We asked this server for ketchup and more salad dressing. 15min later, still no drinks, ketchup, or salad dressing. I waved down a 3rd server and asked for these items only to be told she would get our server. Our server came, she brought ketchup for our now cold onion rings, and dressing. The missing drink still has not arrived nor did she check on us or offer to refill the water/ice teas that were on the table. I will say that the turkey sandwich I had was good however, the service was not. The place inside was not busy so I don't understand the reason for the poor service. I did pass the host stand on my way to the restroom, and there were about eight service people gathered around the host stand talking. The other issue I had was with the men's bathroom. The walls need to be washed as there's snot wiped on the walls and urine splatter everywhere and appears the walls have not been wiped down in sometime. There's other places in Holland we can eat and receive better service.

The staff is friendly and nice ... it's just the food... I've given up on the burgers after they've made them wrong on previous occasions. Lately, I've been trying the falafel wrap. The first time I had it, it was just okay. This time? Almost inedible, sadly. The falafels appear to be homemade, and I think they're baked rather than fried? Or maybe they just got soggy waiting in the window? I don't know. The texture was really bad. Pasty and chewy and makes you feel thirstier than you need to be. The hummus accompanying the falafel enhanced that pasty gluey feel in the mouth and there was no crunch. It's $14 for a sandwich. I was able to gag down half of it and drink 3 waters before I gave up to go back to work. I don't know, there are cheaper options around that are also locally owned that taste better, sadly. I guess this place is fine for drinks? I wouldn't know. Try it and see if it's delicious l guess. I think I'll drive myself over to The Arrows or Delicias instead.

Among locals, it's well known that there are two sides to Frank's. One side for daytime dining, and another side for nighttime dining. I also got a Root Beer Shake ($6), it was excellent. Something different than most places, but definitely tastes like Root Beer. The person I was with ordered the Honolulu Blue Burger. This is a burger topped with bleu cheese, pineapple, ham, teriyaki sauce. It was stated to be excellent. The service was excellent. Very friendly even though it was hectic. Overall an easy 5 star review. Would I return? Absolutely, I will definitely be back.
