Most other matcha places in West LA have watery matcha, so I'm glad the matcha here is better. They use lactose-free milk by default. The shop is small and there is no seating inside. There are just two large tables outside, so you'll likely need to sit around strangers. Service is good, but a bit slow because of how small the store is. Keep an eye out for good deals!! They often have special promos that are great value. During promos the lines can be long, but they're still worth it in my opinion.

I stopped by Comoncy in Westwood, Los Angeles and it was a great experience from start to finish. The space feels bright, calm, and welcoming, which makes it an easy place to relax or get some work done. I ordered the avocado toast and it was excellent. The Kalamata olive bread was crisp, the avocado mash tasted fresh, and the organic eggs over easy added a rich texture. The roasted tomatoes and radishes brought everything together nicely. The breakfast burrito was filling and flavorful. The eggs were fluffy, the bacon added the right amount of salt, and the house made salsa gave it a clean, fresh kick. The chicken panini was also solid with juicy chicken, melted provolone, and a smooth scallion aioli on perfectly pressed ciabatta. The TENZO organic matcha latte tasted clean and earthy, and the adaptogen protein collagen crush latte was bold and energizing without being too sweet. This is easily one of my favorite cozy spots in Westwood. It's the perfect place to escape the crowds and noise for a relaxing breakfast or brunch. The atmosphere is warm, quiet, and welcoming, making it a great place to slow down and enjoy your meal. What really makes this place special is the staff. Pio, Luis, and Nelson are always incredibly welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. They take the time to explain the menu, answer questions, and make every customer feel valued. My food tasted horrible here. I went with a coworker for our lunch break and we both had a terrible experience. the food was terrible tasting and the temperature of the drinks were just off. It was interesting because we both felt that way and we are both pretty accommodating. These days we have so many options for good fast lunch spots in the area that it really is not worth to have bad ones around. Management must be bad because the employees really do not seem to care. Just went here with some of my girlfriends for a nice breakfast while in Westwood and we LOVED it!!! Amazing staff that was so accommodating and friendly, as well as some PHENOMENAL food!!! Really loved how they made some simple out of the ordinary touches on basic foods like the lemony-butter or sauce (not sure which) on the breakfast sandwich and little pieces of basil in the seasonal fruit!
