    Sucks, all they care is money and does nothing in return. HOA fees increase every year, no service whatsoever.

I really feel that they built a trusting relationship with me and always cared for me as a renter. I also enjoyed living in a property where my neighbors were homeowners as they all really cared about the community and the long-term relationships they established and held with their neighbors. I felt very comfortable throughout all the years that I rented my home from A to B. The payment and maintenance portal was also very easy to use and they almost always fixed anything that needed maintenance within a few days whenever possible. Overall, I had a very positive experience renting my previous home from A to B - Had I not become a homeowner myself, I would have continued to rent from them! :D

As a landlord I depend on them to manage all aspects of our income properties including monthly rent collections and deposits, annual income statements, maintenance requests and repairs, unit turn-overs, marketing and prospective tenant interactions, leasing processes and annual property inspections. Each of these responsibilities have been consistently executed without fail. The reason for such a great track record? THE PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE! You could not ask for a more attentive team of employees starting with Jay McDonald, the Director of Operations. She is responsive to every inquiry, question or concern. She provides insights and suggestions whenever I need a professional opinion. Her most important characteristic for me is her willingness to listen to any concerns I bring to her attention. She is quick to act on items that need correction or to alert another team member of an outstanding issue. We appreciate the efforts that Eduardo Gonzalez, Irene Llanes, Kelly Almaguer, Travis Chu, Jonathon Moreno all put forth on our behalf. They have been 100% successful in finding quality tenants that are a perfect fit for the properties. Over time cracks started to show, and it became pretty obvious that they're more interested in making money than anything. Random charges, impossible to get ahold of anyone, things just falling apart or being straight up gross around the complex. People don't pick up after their dogs. full stop. The complex doesn't really provide enough garbage bins to handle the dog waste, so it's a huge issue. We ended our lease on a holdover, giving us the chance to leave at any time with 30 days notice. Essex tried repeatedly to charge us a lease break fee, and it took threatening to hire a lawyer for them to even agree to let us out of said lease. They also don't recycle. There is zero ways to recycle here, which just feels insane to me? The only good part is the maintenance staff are awesome! So friendly and remember every tenant.

Someone (don't want to name names coz I don't want to ding them personally) promptly answered the call and I excitedly explained how I'm looking to rent out our house - the person on the other end said, "it's close to 8pm on a weekday, I'm with my family, let's schedule another time... it's the nature of my job to answer the call so I did". I 100% respect a person's family time but either fix the listed hours on review sites or send me to voicemail or lastly teach politeness to your employees, otherwise it leaves a sour taste in your mouth, doesn't it? I'm unfortunately compelled to not come back to you for property managing my home ever.

    We had a change in our family situation and needed to quickly move out of the home we own into a…read morebigger rental. After move-in, we were a big stuck on what to do and how to get our home rented out. We connected with RentWise and they put us at ease. Everything moved so fast, from the moment we got off the call, things just started happened, photographers showed up and took professional pictures (after we had the place cleaned) and made a map layout of the property (got the files the that same evening). By the next morning, our home was already listed and advertised (i think it was 22 outlets that RentWise marketed the home to). Within 48 hours we had ~30 contacts. RentWise showed the home to 5 lovely couples/families that weekend and 3 qualified applicants for us to chose from a couple days after. All-in all, the process took a little over a week. I cannot believe how fast we got qualified applicants and a lease executed. They are worth every penny (it probably would've taken me a month) not to mention they got us 10% more than the top end of my expectation. My first experience with RentWise, will update the review if anything changes during the length of the relationship. Thank you again RentWise!
