Today is the third time I've bought a car from Nik and Ted -- and I absolutely love my new Prius! A lot of people will TELL you they'll treat you like family, but, for Nik, it's actually true. Every time I've needed a car for our young family, he has gone way above and beyond to help us out. I told Nik I'd be coming by today and, by the time I arrived, not only did he have a number of cars lined up for me to try, but he had already done a bunch of research on OTHER cars he thought I might like, and told me he could find anything I needed. I need to say, also, these gentlemen have HEARTS OF GOLD. I watched how they helped three other families as I was test-driving and then signing papers. With all three families, I saw Nik and Ted bend over backwards to help families find the right car to fit their needs and their budgets. It was actually really moving to see how much time they took to care for their customers. It's very rare to see families of all different backgrounds -- and incomes -- treated so fairly, treated with so much thoughtfulness and dignity. Nik and Ted ran numbers for me -- and the other families -- regarding warranties, payment plans, etc., until they found the right price for everyone. Of course, I've seen all of this from them before as a repeat buyer; but their humanity really struck this time because of how outrageous cars cost right now if you're looking at other dealerships! Anyhow, my 2010 Prius is absolutely stunning. It's in excellent condition -- I've been joy-riding all day because it's just so much fun -- and my children are in love with it already. One last thing! Nik and Ted will always go out of their way to explain your new vehicle to you. After each purchase, both Nik and Ted have checked in on me to ask how things were going with the cars, just to make sure. On the one occasion I had a question about my car, Nik had me come in, looked the car over, and fixed it good as new -- all on his own time and his own dime. This is my 3rd vehicle purchase from arguably the best independent dealer in the east bay. Friendly, Consistent and Caring. Always a inviting and honest experience. In a time where an app is taking over everything we do and how we do it, this is a place that I always look forward to visiting. Cant replace an authentic human experience through an app or some mega dealer that will deliver an overpriced car for even less SERVICE!! After deciding that it was high time I bought a car, I spent a good while researching my choices online, with the main goal of finding a good used car that was within my more meager car budget. I came across an ad on Craigslist for a used Honda Fit that seemed a bit more genuine than many of them, and decided to give the posters a call. Boy was I thankful that I did. I spoke with Nik, and after confirming the car was still indeed for sale, he set up a socially-distanced appointment with Ted in short order. Concord Auto 1 hadn't been the first dealership I'd ever been to, but my experience there was like nothing I'd ever seen from a larger dealership: Ted gave me a fully disclosed report of the car, even beyond what I could find on CarFax, and throughout the entirety of my time there, there was absolutely no pressure for me to buy. After a smooth test ride, though, I was absolutely in love. My dealing with Nik, the owner and financier, was as easy-going as my experience with Ted: Nik walked through the options for financing, showed me the comparisons from each of the banks, as well as a bit of financing theory: everything was laid out on the table and clearly explained, and I considered myself lucky to have found an establishment that not only boasts "come in a customer, leave as part of the family," but truly and genuinely exemplifies that mantra. When I drove away in my shiny new (-ly bought used) car, I felt more certain than I ever thought I could that I'd made all the right choices, and that, as Nik promised "if I needed anything," I actually had a great resource to fall back on. After checking a couple of Toyota dealers, and some other dealers, with such a high prices, even certified used, seeing that I cannot afford a car that I always wanted; a white Camry new body, a friend took me to Concord Auto 1. This place only sells Toyota, and Nick, the person in charge, he was part of Toyota dealership for many years. To make the story short, I purchased the beautiful, like new, White 2018 Camry, low miles, and the best finance deal I could ever wish for, with my credit score, that no banks of mine, and credit union of mine could match. Took the car back for something to just learn where to take  to add to the car. He sent me to a nearby place. After I add the additional option to my car, I went to pay, and they said, it is paid for. I could not believe it. It was such a good gesture. Nick takes care of his customers, for life !!!!! , even though the sales are generally use as is, he knows so many places to send you for good discounts and good quality things or options. On top of that, he did a search and found that Toyota can also do free adjustment that I was not aware of. And I am planning to buy another car for my daughter from him, with such a low monthly payments he got for me. I suggest to go there before or after u check other places to Concord Auto 1, and ask for Nick. I am so very grateful I didn't go anywhere else!! My family gets their cars maintenance done at the shop next door and the mechanic referred me to NiK at Concord Auto 1. I was becoming very inpatient and stressed out about purchasing a car. Years ago I had a horrible experience leasing a car which led me to a repo. And Nik made it affordable, saved me money, super easy, efficient, and relaxed process. He even served my cousin and I pizza and wings!! He's such an honest man and it shows indefinitely. I believe everything happens for a reason and I was meant to be there. Hands down, Nik and his team go above and beyond to find exactly what you are looking for. I came across Auto 1 on the internet because they had a car listed for sale that I've been wanting for a couple of months now. I am a student, so I didn't have much saved up, I was slightly apprehensive knowing that I only had 1,000 to put down. I wasn't sure if they were able to help me. But I was wrong! As soon as I got there they welcomed me and immediately gave me they keys to test drive the car I wanted. Loved it!! When I got back, we filled out a credit application, and got the process going quickly! My husband and I went shopping for a commuter car last week, and were sorely disappointed by some of the dealerships we (tried) to visit. We happened to stumble on Concord Auto 1 while driving around Concord and were greeted by the friendliest salesman, Nik. After telling Nik what we were looking for, he showed us around the lot and was very considerate to our needs (budget, gas mileage, year, mileage, etc...) and tried to find the perfect fit for us. Nik had a few options we were interested in, so we wanted a few days to think about what car would be the right fit for my husband, so we decided to go home and come back the following weekend. Today (a few days later), we settled on a car, so we wanted to call Concord Auto 1 to make sure they would be open on our way home from work. Nik answered and remembered who we were! We got to the lot and the car we wanted was still there, and after test driving it around the block, we were ready to buy it. Nik and his staff were very welcoming and helpful. But I couldn't give enough credit to Nik himself. He is a very genuine and caring person dedicated to his customers. I was in desperate need of a gas saver because I had taken a job in SF and would have to be commuting from Vallejo.. and driving a Ford Explorer that's getting 17 MPG in 2 hour traffic was costing me about $80 a week in fuel. Not only did he get me into a pristine car, but at a "to good to be true" price tag with expertise on getting me approved to be financed. This was my first car buying experience where I felt that the dealer wasn't trying to push me for money. I don't know if I could buy a car from anyone else after my experience here. My wife had found a vehicle on this dealer thru Craigslist. Even though I am always hesitant to deal with used car dealers I decided to give it a try. As soon as we got in the place and start checking on the vehicles we found some very good deals and found one we were looking for. Nik, who is the owner assist us and was very easy, pleasant and straightforward with us. He provided us with all the needed information including facilitating financial info. if we needed to. Needless to say, all the process was really smooth, he even provided us with additional spare parts for the car. Even after closing the transaction, the next day he drove all the way to our home to bring us some additional brand new mats for our car. The folks at Concord Auto made it easy to see a high value car and drive it off the lot in short order. The car was thoroughly cleaned inside and out; I felt like I was slipping into a brand new car when it was actually 4 years old. Nik knows the business very well and that helped get through the paper work and find a loan for me. Nik also helped me with getting rid of my old car which the insurance company deemed "totaled". He also helped with dealing with my old title and signatures here and there and everywhere. I had to make a few calls back to Nik after the purchase to discuss paperwork etc and he was prompt to return my calls and happy to offer advice and explanations. This is a great dealership for those seeking to buy a car (especially first time car owners) my sister and I came in today to see if she would qualify and just to get more information, she ended up going home with a 2016 Toyota Corolla! Nik and his team were the best car buying experience I have ever had. Professional and easy going from the test drive through entire purchase of my Toyota truck. What a great experience - got my dream car - a Toyota Mirai - from Nick at Concord Auto 1 and at a great price. He is the wizard of Toyotas - very friendly and accommodating along with his side-kick Teddy. He explained all the ins and outs of owning a hydrogen car - I'm an enviro guy but didn't appreciate all the practicalities of owning this type of zero-emission vehicle. As a former Toyota dealer, he knew all of the specs and how to look after it, how much it would cost to run, the need to be organized given the limited fueling opportunities, etc. He didn't push me to make a quick decision and offered me lots of chances to drive and get comfortable with the car. I would highly recommend buying a car here! I bought a 2013 Camry from them about 6 months ago. Nik really went above and beyond and had my best interest in mind in every step of the process.
