First time at Condado and the vibes are amazing! Super cool artwork on the wall, very vibrant and colorful. Hosts were very friendly when we entered. Food is decent but the service was terrible! We didn't receive a few items that we ordered and when it was time to pay, I asked to see an itemized receipt to be sure we weren't charged for the items we didn't receive. The waitress said we had to pay and then we could have a printed receipts. She comes back with only one receipt and never brought the receipt of our other guest. We waited for about 10 min for her to come back and ultimately had to go the bar and it turns out he was charged for the items we didn't get. Definitely did not live up to the hype! I expected more out of the experience and didn't receive that. I ordered an Agua Fresca and when confirming with my server so I know it's good for my kids to try, he picks it up and puts it to his nose damn near drinking it. The chips for our queso was stale and cold but the queso itself was good. We ordered a packed bowl and nachos and that as well came out cold. When asked to remake it, it came back out cold. The only plus was that my kids quesadilla was hot. Hopefully with time it will get better but for now we will choose otherwise read more

Received our text a table was ready about 40 mins later. Our server, Kate, was so great! Started with some chips and queso - both very good, and then went with some tacos. I won't even bother describing them bc the one thing that overshadow them all.... All cold shells - flour, corn and Lucy. I could not believe it. Why do they not warm them?! It wasn't bad, but it wouldn't be anything that I would run back to either. We started off with a large house margarita with an upcharge of $2 for fresh fruit purée, a $17 drink that comes out of a tap, good, but for that price, I want to feel it and taste some tequila. We got the 3 dip combo, the traditional queso and guacamole, isn't anything special. The corn salsa was delicious tho! The chips are too thick for my liking, but that's personal preference. I got the blue dream and it was good, but it kinda reminded me of an upscale Taco Bell item. My husband got the braised and confused, I didn't taste his, but he didn't say too much about it. He ordered the bacon refried beans, noted as spicy. I like spice, but those were too hot...I didn't taste bacon, just hot. We were waited on pretty quickly & for the most part, the food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time, though, I think the food runners are unsure on where to deliver, could me the servers not putting the right table numbers on the ticket or they don't know the floor plan, but that wasn't a dealbreaker, just growing pains, as they asked, did you order this & then wandered asking other tables. I love it here. Cannot say enough good things. Tony, along with the rest of the staff, always greets you with a smile on their face regardless of the time. The service is impeccable and the food is delicious. My favorite taco is the blue dream and I highly recommend it - you won't be disappointed. Alright so I recently visited this establishment and the signage was very inviting and was enough to get me to come in and try the food. Well I tried and assortment of tacos the chicken bacon ranch was the best of the 3 I tried and the good stuff kind of ends there service was really slack being that it was a slow night definitely looked for the waiter a few times and was shocked at how little I seen her. I asked a different waiter for a plate to share the food in which I had and he looked a little confused as if they didn't have plates or offer them and when he returned I received these cardboard baskets. I'd say food wise the roasted chicken taco could use a little more work, the nachos were a solid 6/10 being that you need queso to make it really pop without it they're pretty dry. I know they're new to the area but in order to maintain it's the little things we the consumers look for when we step into a place and I know they're fully capable of doing those. I came in there yesterday for my birthday just to have a margarita with one of my buddies, the servers and the people that work there were so rude. Every response had attitude, even asking questions about the menu. I have eaten at both Condados and Barrios in Cleveland. I love their tacos, just as I loved the tacos I ate here in Charlotte. However. I am not sure why they did not use the individual order sheets. Ordering was cumbersome and our orders were mixed up when they arrived to the table, with my son not receiving part of his order at all. Going back to the individual order sheets would go a long way in rectifying this problem. Otherwise, the food was incredible and I will return. read more

I usually do not enjoy chain taco places, but this establishment may have changed my perception entirely. Our server, Tyler, was simply delightful. He was absolutely spot on with his recommendations, and seemed to appear exactly when we needed him despite his section of tables being completely full upon both our arrival and departure. The corn salsa was probably the best I've ever had, and even the regular queso was much better than I would've expected. My only recommendation for improvement would be to add a large fan to the outdoor seating area, as the combination of 90+ degree weather and the delicious hot salsa (recommended by Tyler) left me feeling a bit drowsy by the end of our meal. Overall a wonderful time, and I will most certainly be back again. read more

If I could leave 0 starts I would. My wife and I arrived to the restaurant and there were no other customers yet. We placed drink and appetizer orders and waited while the restaurant started filling up. Our server started serving drinks to other tables and didn't get our drinks until after seeing everyone else. At this point we've been here for 30min and haven't received our appetizer or asked what entree we'd like. After she takes more orders from people who arrived way after us, she says she doesn't understand why the appetizer is taking so long and that she'd bring us some queso and placed our dinner order. Another 30min passes and someone else brings over our appetizer and she visits us. We ask about the queso and she said it didn't come because she didn't get it yet. She chose to see other people who arrived after us instead of getting us something she offered to makeup for the extended wait time. Why would you make someone wait for something you've offered because a table waited too long? At this point we've seen other tables arrive after us, get drinks/appetizers/entrees, pay and leave. At this point we left cash to cover the things we've received and left but we are thoroughly disappointed and hope it was just a bad servicer and not a reflection of the entire establishment. read more
