The place is a counter service restaurant with a bar as well so you can go and order your food first then order your beer/cocktails of choice. They also have a salsa bar but chips are extra. The restaurant is slightly noisy and can probably fill fast during peak hours. Overall I would come back, definitely highlight to my Charlotte trip!

Picadillo (P-I-C-A-D-I-L-L-O) is a traditional Latin dish with many regional variations, and this version reminds me of the one my grandmother used to make in San Antonio. The portions are generous, the flavors are balanced, and the menu offers something for everyone--from enchiladas and chile rellenos to steaks and fresh tableside guacamole. Speaking of guacamole, I'm a purist. I like it simple: avocado, jalapeño, cilantro, lime, garlic--chunky and clean. Superica delivers on that. The chips and salsa are bottomless, the salsa has great depth of flavor, and for those who like heat, they offer a tiny dropper of hot sauce that is smoky, bold, and absolutely not for the faint of heart. Good food but lack of customer service. I asked for enchiladas and they wouldn't make any modifications to them. Wasn't sure what filling I wanted but I didn't want meat, so the server finally agreed to doing a refried bean filling - they practically gave me an empty tortilla, while charging me as if I had ordered a meat filling. I asked for more beans and they wanted to charge me for the "extra" beans. I asked if I could do chicken instead since that's one of the meats they offer and they said that was no longer possible. My husband enjoyed his food but was also disappointed with the service and said he wouldn't waste his time again there - aka food wasn't worth the lack of quality service. Wouldn't recommend it since you can find the same quality of Mexican food with better service elsewhere. read more
