Dinner after an event, we talked about eating here a coupe of times and just happened to have the time. We were greeted & seated shortly after walking in. They got us our water & drinks order out of the way. Their menu isn't too bad, had a lot of options but not too overwhelming we settle on some for appetizers while we decided on the Three Buds half size dips & chips. We got the smoked cheddar, blanco and I believe the dirty. The smoked cheddar was our favorite. We ordered some tacos they were okay. I also ordered a beer it came in a small jar overall it's okay place. Conveniently located next to our event and clean and chill place.

I love coming to Condado for a quick bite to eat. Located conveniently next to Oxmoor Mall, it is a few steps away from shopping. I've never had to wait to be seated and the eating areas are always clean. This place probably has the most variety of tacos to create/eat. They are extremely juicy (who likes dry tacos) and flavorful. The food comes out fresh and hot. I also like their margarita flights since I have a hard time committing to one flavor.

Let me say the Thai tofu tacos were delicious. Otherwise, expensive, noisy, seemingly nice but untrained staff...and did I mention that it's pretty expensive for what it is? Also, the tacos were wrapped so tightly it was hard to get the foil off and a couple of bites were actually foilful...Most places that I go to that are like this I would consider going back to...not this time...

Cool place! Large seating area, outdoor patio facing Topgolf. Lots of tacos options, bowls, drinks. 2 people can eat for $33. Blue dream and Baja shrimp were good. The blue dream was soft shell over a hard shell which was cool. The hard shells always crumble on first bite.

Come for the tacos, stay for the art! I'm on a personal mission to visit every Condado Tacos I can--and not just for the tacos (though they're consistently awesome). I go for the murals. Each location is like walking into a living, breathing art gallery, and the Oxmoor Mall spot is one of my favorites yet! The walls are covered in vibrant, trippy, street-art-inspired murals that celebrate Louisville in the coolest way possible. Think Muhammad Ali, the Belle of Louisville, and local legends reimagined in a 90s rave meets comic book dream. I loved learning that local artists like Liz Richter contributed to the designs--it's so personal and so fun. Food-wise? Solid as always. The build-your-own tacos are fresh and flavorful, and the Goody-Goody shell is a game changer. Don't sleep on the margaritas either! The atmosphere is upbeat without being overwhelming, and the staff made the whole experience even better. If you're into tacos and art, Condado is where it's at. Total sensory win.

Sunday afternoon and Wifey said "My boss told me about a new taco place, wanna go there for lunch?". Silly question. And we set sail for Condado Tacos. Located near Top Golf, to be honest I didn't even know this place existed. When we walked in I had a familiar feeling. As if we'd been to Condado tacos before. Turns out we had, indeed, been to Condado Tacos before when in Charlotte, NC about a year-and-a-half ago. Some people never forget a face. Jim never forgets a Taco place. This location is large with very high ceilings and nearly every square inch covered with colourful murals. Our server (who also sat us) took our drink orders and came back a little later to take our orders. The tacos are a la carte, and they come in a multitude of flavors and attitudes. This time I opted for the Dado Supreme and Lucy's Fire, although other options were various varieties (huh?) of pork, chicken, beef, and plant-based. Our server (whose name I don't recall) was also the bar tender, so our service depended on how busy the bar was at any particular moment. There were a couple times we had to ask another server for iced tea refills as a result. The food was most excellent. Lucy's Fire's "special shell" punches a particularly heated punch, so drink plenty of beverage. Condado's is a fun, colourful, tasty experience. I'll be back. Hey...it's tacos!

I really enjoy Condado. Their food and atmosphere are amazing, but service needs to be improved. They have seasonal specials often. I love all the variety in queso, guac, and salsas. You can create anything, but I prefer the suggested tacos. My favorite taco is purple haze. I get it every time. They seem to be empty a lot and service is still slow. They need to improve service and maybe more people will visit. There's a lot of potential here.

I went there on Monday, I expected that it shouldn't be that busy. Unfortunately, it seem that they are short on staff, which it does make sense since no one want to work or it is Monday. BUT I was not in a rush for anything at all because I totally understand how it is. They are trying their best as they can. I was there to try their tacos for the Louisville Taco week. It wasn't too bad, I really enjoyed it as it got too spicy for me. Also, I really appreciate a lot that one of the waitress knew American Sign Language, which helped me a lot! I might come back sometime in the future to try a few tacos.

The service and quality here seems to have gone downhill tremendously. I have been visiting since the grand opening and previously considered it a favorite. Every time I go to pick up an order now, it is 10-20 minutes behind the quoted pick-up, as if they haven't even started making it until I arrive. They also act clueless and confused, which further leads me to the aforementioned conclusion. I'm actually writing this very review during my extensive wait time. There's no point of even ordering ahead, whereas they used to have the food ready and waiting on the shelf on arrival. This location has also taken a few of my favorites off the menu, namely the pineapple salsa. Sadly, thumbs down for this place. Update: Finally got my food after asking about it 3 times. As consolation, they gave me a free taco card that expires in 4 days. Another thing that seems to have changed--the chips. I was given what looks like Kroger brand multi-grain tortilla chips, vs. the crispy restaurant-style chips they usually serve. To add to that, my queso looks like the recycled and reheated remnants from a previous dine-in table (see photo). Gross!

There was inside and outdoor seating, and it was such a cool environment. Not too crowded for a Thursday evening which meant our food came quick. The margaritas were overall pretty good. I would try to hit the 3-6pm so you can get happy hour for those drinks. I got the Southwest Midwest Bowl which was great. The chicken in it was very good!

Very little meat given in bowls, also cold. Fun indoor decorations & murals. Good staff. Have diet mt. dew which i thought was interesting. Wouldn't come here again, would just go to Chuy's down the road.

We visited on a weeknight and had no wait for a table, but the crowd was impressive. People were enjoying the patio as well as indoor seating. More restaurants are moving in, plus Top Golf is in the lot. This will be a popular place to be. The artwork is fun and one thing known for Condado. It's a space vibe and you'll have fun looking for the nods to Louisville. It extends into the bathrooms. They offer a variety of tacos, with many being noted as spicy. Thankfully there's also the build your own tacos or nachos too. I tired both the grilled chicken and pork. The chicken created a very dry taco but the pork was good and brought better flavor. I also recommend the pineapple salsa, jicama and slaw, and avocado sauce. The queso elote was decent but nothing that stands out from another restaurant. One of the bigger cons of the space for me was the table set up. Tables are packed together so you're basically sitting with the people next to you. There's also minimal aisle room so our server had to back up no less than five times to let customers pass while taking our order. The chairs - uncomfortable ... I am not a fan of cheap metal chairs. Our order was correct and fast, but I wouldn't describe the service as welcoming. What's a word for not friendly but also not unfriendly? I'd come back with friends or if I'm near the area. Likely not a spot our family will frequent together.

Wife and I went in here last night for some drinks and appetizers. The waitress/bartender where we ate at the bar was very friendly. I was taking pictures. She asked what I was doing. I said I was yelping. She said well make sure to tell him I'm awesomeand she was awesome. I loved all the decorations and decor on the walls. They had all kinds of unique, interesting murals and paintings. We got the flight of margaritas and they were pretty good. My wife enjoyed them and we got the cheddar cheese dip was good. I will be back.

The lounge seating setup was a little unconventional, but the staff quickly accommodated us when I mentioned a concern, which I really appreciated. The service was outstanding. I wish I could remember our server's name because he truly made the experience. He handled the entire lounge area by himself and never missed a beat -- personable, knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly efficient. We ordered a few cocktails along with the hush puppies, Cajun calamari, and Brussels sprouts. The drinks were fantastic, and while the appetizers were good, they weren't quite memorable enough for us to reorder next time. That said, we're definitely planning to come back and explore more of the menu. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend checking out Black Rabbit for yourself. It's a great spot for either a romantic date night or a fun evening out with friends.

Since this restaurant has a speakeasy vibe, I thought it might be part of the schtick. However, I'm not sure how long the business has been open, so maybe the GPS was accurate. Our dinner host who made the reservation had told our group the "password" in order to be taken to our private dining room. When I arrived and approached the hostess stand, she took me via a convoluted route to the rest of the diners, no password required. I guess I was lucky because other diners in our group said they had to provide the password. We arrived during happy hour and it was also martini night, so several items from the appetizer menu (wings, spinach dip, tempura shrimp) and cocktail list were available for reduced price. I ordered tempura shrimp (5 pieces) and a glass of Malbec. The shrimp were bland and were served with a sweet chili sauce that was cloyingly sweet with absolutely no heat. I ended up ordering a bourbon roasted pear salad as my main. It was a better choice with buttery lettuce, chunks of firm pear, crunchy walnuts, and pickled red onions. One of my fellow diners had to wait for her first course appetizer to arrive well after the rest of us had finished ours, as it was either overlooked by waitstaff or the kitchen. Service was slow at times, although the place appeared at not even 1/2 capacity when we arrived and possibly 2/3 when we left 2 hours later. Another diner ordered pizza and said that the toppings were good, but commented that the texture of the crust (underdone) made it unpalatable. Finally, another person in our group had to send her food back to be heated. She indicated the plate was warm, but the food (pot roast Manhattan) was not. Final bill was just under $50 (happy hour shrimp $10, wine $11, salad $18, and an automatic 20% gratuity had been added). Upon reflection, I would perhaps return here for a cocktail to enjoy the lounge and live jazz when that is offered. I would be very hard pressed though to order any food, as there are many more valuable and appealing options nearby at this price point.

Moody lighting, thoughtful design, and a playlist that makes you want to stay all night. It's the kind of place that feels like a secret you're lucky to be in on. We started with a Paloma recommended by Ethan (bartender and apparently low-key rockstar). It was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and an excellent recommendation.. We chatted mezcal, music, and more--Ethan's the kind of bartender who makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. Got to talk mezcal with the owner, John, who's clearly passionate and seriously knowledgeable. He shared stories about sourcing, traveling, and working directly with producers. Learned more in 10 minutes from him than I have from any spirit tasting I've done. Super generous with his time and samples, which led to me walking out with a bottle of Espadín, an agave spirit, I'm now obsessed with. You don't find places like this often.
