This place is great! There was only one employee when we went, but still our food came out quick and delicious. The price was great and we were able to get a good large meal for very cheap. I'm not sure what I was expecting by going to a hot dog place, but since Coney Island is supposedly a staple on the strip I figured maybe I'd be pleasantly surprised. Big mistake. The hot dogs came out barely warm and embarrassingly small. The chili was thin and watery, like it had been strained through a mop bucket, and the cheese tasted like it should have been thrown out days ago. For over ten bucks, I got two sad little hot dogs and a pile of mystery meat slop. You'd honestly get a better, more filling meal for a fraction of the price by grabbing whatever's been sitting on the rollers at a gas station. At least those have some substance. Service wasn't any better, just one guy watching videos on his phone until someone walked in, then tossing the order on the counter like he was doing me a favor. No effort, no care, no reason to ever come back. The only way Coney Island is worth it is if you're so drunk you can't taste a thing and your vision and judgment are so blurred you don't realize what you're spending. THE WORST SERVICE IN STILLWATER. My friends and I were at coney bar and they announced last call for drinks, we got some and less than five minutes later an employee approached us and started yelling at us to "get the f*** out!". They still had 30 mins till they closed according to the hours on the website. I wish I was exaggerating but this place is a joke. Do not go to coney bar unless you want to be berated by the staff. Dang. This was bad. I was looking forward to a true dog but woof!! This was not good. Runny chili, questionable dog, plain cheese. The only thing good was the bun. Honestly love the food but after 4 years here went to the bar and got a tequila shot well for 10$ will literally never come back here after that and the not so great service. If you want to come here to get a drink I would recommend everything else on the strip before this. Great food! I absolutely love the atmosphere! Most times I hop from bar to bar but once I started coming here I stay all night! The staff is super friendly and welcome. I don't know what happened, new ownership maybe, but it's not the place it once was. The skinny fries are now thick ones. The coneys are quite different, in a bad way. And they are offering the same foods you see offered in gas stations like Hunt Bros pizza and those do-it-yourself shakes (only they do it). We were very excited to grab and onion burger, fried pickles, and a coney. The burger came plain with no onions. We asked for onions. Then asked again after 5 minutes when we didnt see any opinions on the grill and received cold onions. When we asked if they could be heated in the grill, she brought back 3 grilled onion slivers and said she hoped is was enough for my burger. Simple concept and a staple in Stillwater. My neighbor told me to try this place out and it wasn't anything fancy. A hot dog is a hot dog. But here, it is done well. Kinda wish the wieners were a little bigger but, it is what it is. One of the icons of the Strip. The food here is great (not great for you). There is also plenty of entertainment after midnight on the weekends. Slaw dogs, nuke dogs, and crawdaddys are classics. You need to try them, but don't sleep on the grilled onion cheeseburger either. It is a forgotten gem. Every student who passed through Stillwater probably has a few stories of fun nights that ended here. read more

I LOVE Coney Island! Their frito chili pie is amazing! They now offer pizza and milkshakes and my husband and I go so often they usually know us by name. They are usually pretty fast at getting your order out and the staff are always very friendly. read more

Nothing Special. Not your Coney I-Lander of Tulsa, known for their chili "made for coneys." These coneys seem like something you would make in your kitchen with Hormel chili from a can. They weren't awful if you just needed something to eat. It would be like going to a sandwich shop just to be handed a generic sandwich with plain, cheap ingredients from the grocery store. read more
