After about 6 various days of installation work for three SPAN panels, two EV chargers and soon to add two house surge protectors, the entire crew is professional, work well together and pleasant to interface with, particularly with my many questions. With many days and my job larger than most, they sent the necessary number of staff at the appropriate times. Hired them to install a Tesla universal charger. They are very professional and communicate well with customers. Every step was explained to me. I have spoken with few other companies prior to hiring them and was given an immediate estimate without seeing my electic panel or knowing much about my house load. They offered free in person or online estimate, I chose online estimate. The online estimate tool is designed to assess the capacity of my electrical panel and see if I need an upgrade since I needed a 60am for the charger. I was then offered an estimate which was not the cheapest that I recieved but they did give me a discount after that. I chose this company because they communicated very well with me and I felt I can trust them with the project. They have a 1 year warranty. I recieved a confirmation email the day before my appointment and on the day of the service I was notified about the eta of the technician. The work was done quickly and ( on a rainy day ). All my questions were answered, the area was cleaned after the work is done. The charger was added to my Tesla account and I tested it before the technician left. We recently had our electrical panel changed and the service we received from the professionals at Connected Technology was outstanding! The lead electrician was Jeremy and he arrived early at the house. He reviewed the scope of work and got started right away. He was prepared and clear about his plan. After flooding our house just before Christmas, we decided it was time to for smart home upgrades that would help us avoid unnecessary water damage issues in the future. After speaking with several companies and comparing prices and costumer service, we ultimately decided to hire Connected Technology to install 8 water leak sensors and a whole house water shut-off system. I just had the best experience with a contractor that I can remember. I needed to install a 220 circuit to charge a Tesla Model 3 I just bought. Jennifer who answered the phone answered every question I could think of. When she found out I already had the car, she called the techs and reorganized their schedule so I could have an inspection the same day. When Bill came out, he made suggestions that saved me about $ 500.00 on the installation. The quote was delivered same day. It was lower than the other quote I got. I accepted the quote and they were out the next day to do the work. I received phone calls both times for a time window and then an e-mail and phone call when they left the prior job to let me know they were on their way. Best communication I have ever had from a business. I watched the technician do the work and it was excellent quality. They even installed 6 gauge wire so that I have better options in the future. Connected Technology (CT) is a company that hasn't dropped the ball yet. We have been in constant communication every step of the way regarding our 3 part installation. We had an issue with our Enphase equipment, which basically tells us how our solar array is working. CT diagnosed our Enphase, gave us a solution, fixed it, and in the end came in under budget. They even helped us with problems that were outside their scope of work, by pointing us in the right direction. Another one of the reasons I like working with CT is their communication is informative. They let you know when to expect them and they send a picture of the Technician, via text , who is set to visit. They previously came to install an EV charger for me. They were able to give me an estimate after I sent them pictures of my garage and electric panel. They sent me a pile of document with my permits and project details by mail. The estimate was very competitive when compared to other electrical companies in the location. Technician Scott showed up on time on the day of installation. Came in well prepared. He installed it quickly and make sure everything worked before he left. After installation, the permit department called right away and make sure the county inspection would be done asap. What I appreciate was they responded to text messages promptly. This is important especially for someone like me who can't always answer phone calls at work and prefer text communication. No wonder they are certified by Tesla as the home charger installer. I had a problem with my heating and air-conditioning unit. I was certain I was going to experience the same old runaround that I had experienced with other companies. I called Connected Technology and talk to Bill about coming out and inspecting my unit to see what the problem was. He showed up on time, was courteous and inspected my unit. When he was wrapping up his inspection I was getting ready for the bad news that always seems to come, that It was going to cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars to fix. Bill looked at me and told me that the problem was simply a thermostat issue that was very easily fixed and he fixed it right on the spot. He also told me that even though my unit was relatively old that it still has some life left in it. He made a few maintenance suggestions and that was it. My problem was solved for less than $100. I have been doing business with Connected Technology since 2017. This time they installed two Tesla Powerwall 3 battery units in my garage. The crew headed by Tim and assisted by Carson did an excellent job, arrived ahead of time and completed the large job well before the end of the day. They were well organized and shared job duties throughout the day. The job entailed wiring, mounting heavy panels, running wire in the attic for the heat detector and relocating numerous breaker switches in the main house service panel. The crew continually cleaned up as they did the installation and during final cleanup used a blower to clean out the dust in the garage. This job was more reasonably priced compared to other companies I considered.
