They require a service tech to review the project onsite for a flat fee of $79.00... regardless of if you go with their service or not. Seems like a not well thought out policy. Who is going to pay $79 for someone to come out that could possibly provide a bid that is out of your budget? Common business sense is reviewing the details provided by the customer and coming back with a ballpark estimate or asking for more details to provide that estimate. The dryer had been on the fritz for awhile making a screeching noise that could wake a neighbor anytime in use. I requested quotes through Yelp and quickly received a response from fuse. They were able to send a technician the next day to do a diagnosis and I thought the diag fee was very reasonable, and if you approve repairs they credit the diag fee. I received a quote for the repair later that night and they came and repaired it the next morning. Overall I was very happy with the service, I did think the repair was a bit pricey for what was done, but I'm no dryer technician!!! read more

Our heat stoped working - wouldn't even push out cold air. Thought it might be ignition. Had appointment scheduled within 3 days of inquiry. Technician arrived about an hour before expected - wasn't quite prepared but was appreciative nonetheless - would rather them be early than late. Took about 5-10 minutes to confirm it was the ignition. He already had the tools/parts to fix that right away. Was quoted a price. He also took out our filters and showed us how badly they needed to be replaced - they were bad - and then took the time to show my husband and me how to replace them. Let us know our furnace is near its life's end which we were aware, just can't afford a brand new one at the moment. Appreciated some quotes for the square footage of our house as well as possibly installing AC at the same time and different costs with that. Just things to keep in mind when we do decide to go and get it all done. Gave us some info on why one of the bedrooms doesn't receive any heat - probably a duct detached on the crawl space. Worked efficiently, good value for the total of 30 minutes of being here, and really nice to show us how to do things and give us additional information for the future. Our washing machine suddenly started flashing all sorts of codes and not completing cycles leaving clothes heavy and full of water, not to mention not cleaned! We called them during the summer and a tech came out to fix our AC. The tech was rude and didn't communicate properly. He gave me a quote and went on to "fix" my AC. After 15 minutes he said, we needed a part so the quote went up. He then came down and just said, it should work and he didn't replace the part. Literally, he didn't do anything because it didn't not work. He had already charged us $450 to "fix" it. So we call them back and the same technician comes out again and tries to charge us another $200 dollars for the part he didn't replace. I call the offices and the lady didn't understand why he was charging us more when in his paperwork he had noted that he has fixed the AC and had did some electrical work. Eventually my husband had to get involved and he replaced the part without having to pay extra because the office lady agreed that he had claimed he fixed it when he really hadn't. I will never use them again and will tell everyone I know to never waste their money. read more

Our dryer stopped working late on a Friday afternoon, and I thought I'd just buy a new one since it's pretty old. Went online and couldn't find any in stock...after calling around and talking to a few people about why so many are out of stock or are in stock but can't be delivered for like a month, I was told that there is "an appliance shortage" now, because manufacturers are in short supply due to factory shutdowns. So, I decided my best option was to try to get mine fixed. I didn't have high hopes of finding anyone since it was late on Friday, but within minutes of sending my Yelp message, I had a reply from Fuse HVAC. They told me someone could come out between that evening, between 5-7. They sent me a text and email confirmation of the appointment, the tech showed up ten minutes early, spent about 45 minutes here and fixed it. For a very reasonable price. So, scheduling was amazing, service was amazing (the tech wore a mask and protective shoe coverings, and was very polite), price was reasonable and I was sent an invoice/proof of payment text and email when the job was finished, with an explanation of what was done. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat. Great experience. read more

One of the worst experiences possibly ever. Where to even begin. Bad attitude, no show, threats, possibly retaliation methods. I will be filing a police report.I called on a Thursday, set an apt for Tues. They sent a confirm email 8:15-12:15.That Tues at 1:30 I called in to see if the tech was still coming or if I needed to reschedule, the "Receptionist" at what I assume is a hired call center sent a message to the tech.The tech texted me claiming "If I didn't respond he'd cancel my apt" This was the very FIRST contact I had had from him all day I called to clarify, he immediately became defensive and rude with me. Claiming he had until 8pm as you can see by the photo this is not the case. He also said he'd been trying to text me all day as you can see by one of my photos I only ever received a single text. I asked him to tell me which number he had been trying and he refused.I made it clear I didn't care and just needed to clarify he was still coming he then said "I don't think I will after all this drama"To be clear I had not been rude, raised my voice, swore, anything, I was only trying to get clarity on arrival.He then went on some diatribe about how he works 12+ hours a day and I was lucky to have an apt to begin with, then hung up on **** called in to the main line (A call center likely) and described the issue, the "Receptionist" **** said he was as surprised as me and would handle, escalate and have someone call me. Nobody did.When I tried to follow up on Wednesday they had BLOCKED MY NUMBER.I called in from my work line and explained again, they woman also sounded or pretended to care and said someone would call me to figure it out, nobody has, and nobody will.I called in a few times and have had a new person every time, they are clearly hiding behind a call center.The worst part comes now, I had not been working with any other group or company at all and they had my email, address and phone. read more

I called Fuse to repair my washing machine that wouldn't use cold water. Dmitri came out and said it was a fuse. I asked whether maybe the hot and cold water lines had been reversed during installation. He said it was the fuse and he would order a new one for $100+. When he had the new fuse, he came back and put it in and told me it was fixed. It was not. I still was getting hot water rinses when they should have been cold. I asked him to please be sure that the hot and cold lines were properly attached. So it turned out that they were not. He changed them around and I got cold water for my rinses. I asked him to be sure that the machine was level since he had pulled it away from the wall and my garage (where the machine is located) slopes slightly to the middle and down. He said he had checked that. Well, I guess it does not rock if you push it but I checked it with a level and level it is not. I did not want to call him again because I was sure he would argue with me. Two months later after living with the banging of the drum, I finally called him back. Sure enough, he argued with me. Had to be a new issue. A new issue that started immediately after he finished his repairs? He kept arguing that he knew what he was doing, so I hung up on him. read more
