The only reason we go to Conrad's is when my grandson is in town. He loved the steak tips. One time when we were there he ordered a medium done prime rib. He was 8 years old at the time. He received a rare cut. He ate around the edge. I had fish and chips that was over cooked and the fries were cold. We only go their with him to order steak tips. Went after the pats game since there was no wait. The server was very nice and we were in and out very fast. The food however was not that great. We started with the spinach artichoke dip, which was served with tortilla chips. Dip itself had a layer of Parmesan cheese melted on top which added a great salty flavor to it. However, the dip itself had no flavoring whatsoever. I will however say that the dip portion was very very large which we did not expect. My boyfriend got the chicken marsala which I think would have been good if the pasta was cooked in the sauce itself. The sauce did not stick to the pasta whatsoever so it was basically having plain pasta with a watered down sauce at the bottom of the bowl. I got the burger, which is something that's pretty hard to mess up, so I will give it a six out of 10. The only issue I will have to say with that is that the burger itself had no seasoning at all. I think that is the general consensus, very little seasoning on all the food. I did however really enjoy the potato salad that I got with my hamburger. That was actually very well seasoned. Had reservations for 630 for 4 and was seated right away(only good thing I can say). Server didn't greet us for a good 20 minutes. Then we had to wait another 20 minutes before we had our drinks, we are actually debating on just walking over to the bar and grabbing our drinks. The food was delivered by someone from the kitchen not a big deal but I ordered the prime rib with two sides and only got my prime rib. The waitress didn't come over for 17 minutes after the food was delivered to ask how it was going and I mentioned I never got my full meal. By the Time I got my side ate already ate my piece of meat. They are serving food during covid and offer delivery within about 5 miles from their location. No charge if it's over $20. I really wanted a real burger from a restaurant during covid and this was just right. It's a chain but the food was good quality and not overpriced. Will try again once I can eat inside and maybe adding another star here. Give it a try! read more

We have been there 3 times since they opened in Foxboro, each time was very good. We had scallops and a pasta dish last night, we liked them both. They are one of the few places that knows how to cook "Pit Rare" sirloin tips, also very good.We did not have as good of an experience at their other locations. read more

Checked out the new location for Conrad's in Foxborough. Having been to the Norwood and Walpole locations and liking them, I was looking forward to trying it out. Went on Friday, February 28, with my wife and got there early. While waiting to be seated, I noticed a pile of daily specials menus. Upon being seated, I asked where the specials menu was and the server told me that they weren't doing specials this week. Okay, I took it as a sign that they were in start up mode and stick to things I know. The server was trying and helpful. We ordered lemonade and it was more like lemon infused water. We ordered an appetizer of calamari, it was okay. It was just short of being overcooked, some of the bands were getting rubbery. For dinner my wife got a chicken sandwich and I had fish and chips (given it was the first Friday of Lent, thought it would be a slam dunk) When the order came out, my wife got a wrap and I got a cup of cole slaw with a side of couple medallions of fish and some squashed fries. To server's credit, she hustled to get the right meal for the wife. When she came back and I pointed out my disappointment with my entree she asked what she could do to make it right and noticed the lack of fries for fish and chips and brought out a side to try and fix it. Clearly in start up mode in the kitchen. 2 other things, first is each booth has its own video monitor but it lacks any sort of directory and you have to click through each channel to find anything. Extremely poor service. I had the strangest experience at Conrad's. We came in for an early dinner and it was not busy at all. The waiter took our order which was very simple consisting of 4 sandwich. The restaurant started to fill up as the dinner crowd came in. Other table's started to receive their meals. 45 minutes later the waiter comes back to our table and started to go through process again of taking our order. He then murmured under his breath that he forgot to put our order in to the kitchen. He took off and we did not see him again. We continued to wait. Eventually, we had to get up and leave. We informed the hostess of what happened and all she could say was ok. This was the first time ever walking out of a restaurant for poor service. This is unfortunate because we frequently dine at Conrad's with no complaints. We will not be coming back anytime soon. read more

So disappointed. Let me start off by saying my wife and I have come to the Foxboro Conrad's regularly (at least once a week sometimes twice...always for dinner during a week night). The reason we keep coming back: FOOD QUALITY gets an A FOOD OPTIONS gets an A PRICING gets an A LOCATION/SCENERY gets an A What has bothered us ever since we've started coming to this restaurant is the SERVICE, which gets an F. More specifically EVERY TIME we are seated at this restaurant we wait a significant amount of time for our waiter/waitress to come by. And EVERY TIME we either have to go ask the hostess who are waiter/waitress is or we have to stare someone down as they walk by and they always ask....oh has no one helped you yet? (with a look of I didn't know I was supposed to be waiting on you but what can I get you type of thing). With this beautiful weather after much debate we decided to give Conrad's another chance and sit on the beautiful patio. Sure enough....same as usual....WE WAITED 27 MINUTES AT OUR TABLE before being acknowledged by a waiter and once again it was the usual oh has no one served you yet?...I didn't know you were sitting here type of thing... During our 27 minute Wait we started to notice the aggravation of other diners around us and started all chatting together. The table next to us (two gentleman got up and left because they waited even longer than us without being acknowleged)...another couple had to get up and grab there on silverware...got a cheeseburger without cheese and had to send it back and asked for a beer and two people came out with a beer for them (the manager and the waiter)...prior to leaving they stated they wouldn't be back...the last couple first asked the waitress for their check afteR ten minutes asked the manager for their check...and after another 10 minutes just walked inside the restaurant in search of their check The next time the manager walked by (we still didn't have our drinks) he asked if we had been served...I explained after 27 minutes our waiter just took our order...his response "oh ok sry bout the wait" as he started walking away ..I continued "you may want to look at this system you have here because it doesn't appear to work...one table left without being served..another asked for their check three times..a third said they won't be back...and as I just said I waited 27 minutes for someone to take my order"....his response "yea we do have a system that works" as he walked away from me. I couldn't believe it nor could the remaining couple that overheard the conversation. I want to be clear the waiters/waitresses are working VERY HARD...but there is clearly a problem with staffing/table assignments etc (a member of the wait staff told us after there are not assigned tables and it's crazy here )...I am begging the management of Conrad's to look into this so i and others Can continue to support a local business. P.S I'd also recommend evaluating this "manager" who clearly can't handle his job responsibilities (after all the guy couldn't even tuck in his dress shirt into his pants properly). read more

We have only been able to order take out and delivery since they have opened due to the craziness but the times we have gotten it, the staff has always been extremely pleasant and the food has been hot and delicious! Tonight we ordered delivery and was surprised by having the Owner Bob accompany the staff who was delivering to personally thank us for ordering! What a great guy! Steak tips are out of this world and the buffalo chicken tenders are one of my favorites around. I look forward to trying other items and continuing to support this great local place! read more

This location is the old waxy oconners, love what they did with the place. It's beautiful inside. It just opened up, and was incredibly busy. The service was great! The food was awesome. We got the fired mozzarella appetizer and for entrees we had the combo plate and the steak tips. As always with Conrad's the steak tips were melt in your mouth good. Went for dinner burger was cooked wrong and missing the bacon. I also ordered a burger to go when we got our food. We got the check and the waitress said your burger will be right out. 25 minutes later 45 minutes after we ordered it finally came out. I am a frequent visitor of Conrad's in Walpole and have always had a great experience. My mother and I decided to do Conrad's in Foxboro in order to dine out, probably for the last time this year. We were seated and after waiting 15 minutes I went to inquire on a waitstaff. When she arrived, she went to a table that was seated after us, and when the gentlemen pointed that out, she said she would be right with us. I had not issue with that, except they had appetizers and we had not even received a drink yet. I had ordered a plain hamburger medium rare and my mother the special. The special was to have melted cheese, but it did not as it was cold, and mine came with cheese. When I sent it back, it did reappear quickly, only to be raw. At this point I asked that it just be removed from my bill and I did not eat. My biggest question is what happened to the days of customer service, were at least the manager would come over and apologize? I am usually very high tipper, but needless to say not today, but I wonder why everything seems to have been taken for granted lately. read more

Visiting from Florida and family took us there after having reared about the steak tips for the past 24 hours. They didn't disappoint! Three of the four of us had the tips, and I had the Greek salad with tips on top--took half home and looking forward to leftovers later this evening. Sammy our server is a MACHINE!!! He had numerous tables to wait on, and appeared to be the only server. Yet he was polite, prompt, engaging--D--all of the above. We ordered delivery after hearing from others in the community that Bob, the owner, had been driving around behind his employees during deliveries to personally thank customers for their business while also keeping his staff employed. I was impressed by his commitment to his people and wanted to support that. Both the person on the phone and the delivery driver were extremely friendly and all the food we ordered was solid. Nice dinner at Conrad's last Saturday night 2/29.. My wife and I sat at the bar. Bartenders, Nicole, Jen, Erin and Marcus were very engaging and our food was great. Baked stuffed shrimp was excellent. We were regulars at their Walpole location and love the fact they opened a new location here in town. I used to live in Norwood, so Conrad's was always a favorite of mine. I used to half-jokingly say "Welcome to Conrad's, home of the best steak tips in Norwood" whenever I would drive by their location, but they actually were really good steak tips. So when I saw that they had opened up a location in Foxboro, I decided to check it out. I got their steak tip dinner with a double order of the veggies. Either I was significantly misremembering how good their steak tips were, or their quality has declined a lot in the years since I last had them, cause they were just kinda meh. This review is for the Foxborough location regarding their delivered chicken teriyaki dinner. Unfortunately, my boyfriend is addicted to this problematic dish (#FML)!!! Repeatedly, this dish is either delivered WITH ONIONS (we requested NO onions) or delivered WITHOUT the requested chicken!! Tonight, as usual, this problematic meal was requested and again, we were disappointed as it was delivered without the chicken!! I spoke to Samantha who said it was the fault of the person taking the order but in the past it was blamed on the kitchen. Regardless, its not my business!! It should be the concern of management to fix these repeated problems! After speaking with the manager tonight, we were given a gift certificate due to the delay of the order after re-delivering after 90 minutes! Gift cards do not make up for lost time on a planned COVID dinner/movie night or the aggravation from a disgruntled significant other over their screwed up dinner order. I PLEAD with the management in the Foxborough location to FIX these problems... I certainly would appreciate the peace of mind!!! read more

Went last night for dinner, and the food was good and a decent value. Steak tips lived up to the reputation, and hand cut o-rings are very hard to find on menus anymore, and were also very good. Really 3 stars are for the service. Started with the very young-looking hostess at the front desk. Five of us walked in and stood right in front of her while she was on the phone...and waited, and waited. I timed her out of curiosity and it was 6 straight minutes. No "I'll be right with you ", not even any eye contact. Like we weren't there. It didn't didn't end after 6 minutes either. A tall thin manager-looking type lady came and took care of us. I understand being busy and having to man the phone, but at least acknowledge that you know the customer is there. The server, I believe it was a gentleman but not sure, was pretty good but took forever to get over. Food was good, prompt and decor tasteful, I'll likely give it another shot. read more

Ordered curbside pickup and they forgot the nachos grande then it took them almost a whole hour just to deliver it and when it got here it was literally only tortilla chips cheese and olives and they didn't even offer to take it off the bill and it didn't taste good it was very chewy and all of the food was cold. read more

We ate here on St Patrick's Day, and it was amazing. The manager (did not get her name, sadly), was the nicest, most accommodating person, helped us find a table we'd be comfortable at since we had 4 adults and a 4yr old. Everything was really clean, and people were spaced out accordingly. Our waitress, Siobhan, was on top of everything, and the food was ridiculously good. We went there for dinner and had made a reservation at 6:30 for 5 people for the patio. We ended up being sat at a table along side of the building on the sidewalk. We were told due to our party of 5 we could only sit there. Ok fine.... after 25 minutes of sitting there with no one coming up to us, no offer of water, no waitress to take our drink order NOTHING....we had to talk to the hostess and mention that no one has come to our table. We finally ordered our drinks....After another 20 minutes of no drinks it was so bad that we were on the phone looking to make reservations elsewhere when our drinks is finally came. It took us 3 people to ask for water when we finally received and 4 people to finally get us napkins. Thankfully the food was so AMAZING that it did make up for how terrible the service was. We will probably go back but will go much later and definitely never sit at that table again. I think because it is not in the main area it is forgotten.
