The receptionist barely acknowledged me with no smile and was talking rudely to the client checking out and didn't check me in for over 5 min of me standing there. After being taken late with no apology, the stylist was rude, rough with my hair when I had tangles and overall just didn't seem like she wanted to be there. She responded to my inquiry text right away and a few texts later, I was all booked! Her studio is inside the John of Italy Salon. Parking lot is big and right next to entrance, so that's easy. Inside the space are floor to ceiling windows, so there is a ton of natural light, which definitely helps Hidi give you the best, most flawless application. I asked her for brown/golden smokey glam and she absolutely nailed it. Throughout the appointment she would hand me the mirror to check-in and make sure I was happy with how things were progressing, which was super nice. Each time she handed me the mirror, I was more and more in love with her work. By the end of the appointment, I was literally staring at myself in the mirror in awe and feeling/looking like a million bucks. She also did light styling on my hair and gave me soft, gorgeous waves. Honestly, I walked out of the salon, looking like a movie star. The event was super hot and everyone was sweating, but miraculously my makeup stayed put.
