Super unique and some of the special effects are fantastic! I've done a handful of escape rooms across LA and Orange County and this is definitely a memorable one. It is a wee bit pricey and I would say there are a few things that I think could be improved in my personal opinion! In general, I thought a few of the puzzles were not the most intuitive/logical. This room is definitely made for you to escape so you can get the full experience, so the game masters definitely assist when you get stuck. It feels like some of the puzzles were made for the players to get assistance rather than solve on their own. The priority is definitely to get you to end! Which some people may love and some may not. But to each their own! Also, the room is a bit tight (but it goes with the theme). It makes it difficult to work on the same puzzles at the same time and although there are definitely things to multitask on, I feel that the room was generally a bit linear as in one puzzle tends to be in play which leads you to the next puzzle. Once most puzzles are solved, it felt like only 2-3 people were working on a puzzle while the rest of us were kinda standing around. It was also a bit hot in there so some better AC would be totally welcome. Overall, what a fun and unique room! I'd say if you get a chance to try out Lab Rat, you totally should! We were met by Gelly who introduced us to the room and they were incredible! Gelly made sure to stick to the script and it really felt like she was an actress. 10/10 for her performance, she deserved an Oscar lol. There was the 4 of us in this room and we were quite nervous that we might not be able to finish/escape the room, but we finished with 7 minutes to spare! There were times where we needed some extra help and we loved how Gelly gave us hints and not a whole answer because it left us to figuring out her hints! Overall, it was a fun time and it had us wanting to come back to do more! Will definitely bring friends here to try out the other escape rooms :)

I must say that out of 20 escape rooms ive done, this one had so many puzzles! One was really tough because we werent familiar with it. I dont want to give a lot away, but you will know when you get there! Another Puzzle got stuck, but luckily the game master Sasha, was with us in the room to provide assistance. We had 6 people and finished with 7 minutes to spare! It was very fun and we all had a blast!

We ended up doing several rooms here but Ticket was our first of the day and it's so worth it. I highly recommend. It stops at a dead end with NO WAY OUT. The potholes will destroy your car if you rush through to get out. To make things worse, we were charged an outrageous extra fee for a 5 yr child to be in the room with us. The babysitter got sick, so the parents had to bring her. We happily paid the fee for her to be in the room, but the additional $50 above that was an egregious money grab for no reason. If it were a fire-safety rule, no amount of money would erase it. We've done 30 escape rooms, and this was by far the worst for the very bad location, and the money grab.

I could consider coming back, but that is if they would "fix" the restroom. The day of our scheduled visit, I get a text message letting me know the restrooms are out of order. I've read similar reviews here about that and I assumed that after months of the restroom being out of service that it would be fixed by now. I guess not. If you want to use the restroom then you have to go down to the Starbucks or the bar and then come back. It's an inconvenience. If you come here just count on not using their restroom. They might as put that on their website. And that is the reason for the 3 stars. It's an established business with no restroom for paying customers.

The building has a small parking lot behind a gated entrance in front, but it is for employee parking only. You'll have to find street parking off Temple or in the nearby neighborhoods. Walk through the front gate and ring the doorbell to be let in. We did the Amityville room here last year and had a good time, so we returned and decided to try their Case 93 room. The theme is your group was kidnapped by a serial killer and you have an hour to escape before he returns. The front half of a van sticks out of the wall in the lobby and is part of the Case 93 room. We were greeted by Allison who walked us down the hallway and got us started. The room has a split start, with players initially separated, but only very briefly after solving an easy puzzle. The room feels big, has quite a few different areas, and is very immersive. It is a pretty physically active room, with lots of going back and forth between the different areas. Some crawling is also required in a few places. There is a good variety of mechanical puzzles, a few combo and key locks, a cryptex lock, and various mental challenges. There was one mechanical puzzle that didn't work right, but our game master was able to quickly trigger it remotely. Hints are given verbally and are requested by waving at one of the cameras. This was a really fun room that flowed well. I would say the difficulty level is between medium to hard. We escaped with a little over five minutes remaining. Our game master Shannon was great and was very helpful when we needed a little nudge. For only two people, the cost is $60 per person. The cost drops to $43 per person for three or more people. Be sure to check their website before booking, as they often have discount codes posted. I was able to save $20 on our booking using a code on their website. They also offer a $10 discount if you book seven or more days in advance. We'll come back to try more rooms at this location when we're in the area.

I've been to at least a dozen escape rooms and never have I experienced being cut off and not allowed to finish, especially with young child present. I respectfully voiced my concerns to the attendant who told me a manager would speak to me. I waited another 10 minutes for a manager, who told me nothing could be done about any of my concerns and to contact corporate.

The production values were very high with fake explosions, triggered fog effects and many different elaborate rooms. Maria was also the best game master we've had and much more committed to her character than I've seen in other game masters. I also appreciate that she gave us extra time when she could sense my daughter was anxious to make sure that we finished. For two people I'd say this was a little harder than the other medium rooms we have done.
