If you value your clothes...DO NOT take them here. While the pricing is quite reasonable, you get what you pay for. They will ruin your clothes, then will put a "defective condition before cleaning" tag on it so that they wouldn't be responsible for the damage. My new suit jacket had what appeared to be water spots and also burn marks on it when it left this place and now has to go in the trash. They won't be getting my business again. read more

By how messed up my clothes came out, It looks like they dump everything in a commercial washer. This place proves the saying "you get what you pay for". Over five expensive work clothes items are permanently ruined because of this so-called dry cleaners. Two of my skirts look like they were put through the shredder and the hems were undone. My clothes that I brought in are dry clean only but it looks like they dumped it in a washing machine along with towels and rugs. Terrible customer service. I've been coming here for way too long to be dealing with this type of service. Usually I have to leave my clothes to be serviced several times to get the wrinkles out that they added by not ironing the clothes properly. I would not recommend this place. As a first time customer, I went in to have a patch sewn on. On the day it was ready, the person that assisted me had to look for it which was under a pile of other items, no hangar, not a good presentation. To top it off, there were chalk marks that they didn't bother cleaning up. When I asked him if they can clean it,he stated that it would take another day. Really? Another day for them to simply clean it off? When I finished my transaction, not a simple thank you from them for your business nor an apology for poor presentation. I love this dry cleaners, the prices are so affordable. I will tell you a secret I love designer jeans, but what I don't love is forking out 150 to 200 a pair so I buy them at Marshall's where for maybe 60 bucks you get the really tall sizes and for 10 bucks have them altered here, they do a phenomenal job. I cannot say enough about this establishment. I have been here many times over the past year and every time I walk in I am greeted with a smile and how are you doing today. Very professional Jesse and his employees are on top of their game. They have a great service and great prices. Today was no different I picked up 2 very difficult decorative pillows to clean (white fur) with a stain on each. They did not have a zipper to take them apart. Review is long overdue. Never had such a bad experience by a small business owner! Really really wish I could give them negative stars. I had a tiny drop of ice cream on a dress I wore to a banquet. Wasn't a big mark but since it said dry clean only, I had to take it to the cleaners. I picked this cleaner because it was close to my place. I came back a few days later to pick up dress and they went around looking for it. After speaking amongst each other and looking around the whole place, they told me it's not done. I was a little surprise that it wasn't ready because it wasn't anything big but I said ok (i don't like to be "that" customer that makes a big deal out of nothing). They offered me a discount because it wasn't ready so I figure that's fine, good business practice (or so I thought). Came back the following week to pick up the dress and when I went to pay they didn't give me the discount so I just kindly asked them about it. The worker went to talk to owner and he came out and actually yelled at me. Saying there was a big oil stain on my dress. I told him him it was just a drop of ice cream and he shouldn't talk to customers like that . I was so taken aback by his reaction I told him you guys really shouldn't say an item will be ready and then not deliver on time and then on top of that yell at them! I paid full price and told them I don't even want the $1 dollar discount! It's the principle not the money that matters! My theory is that some one that works at the cleaner wore my dress, got an oil stain on there and that's why it wasn't ready on time. And that's why he said there was a huge stain on there when I know for a fact it was a tiny drop of ice cream, that in retrospect, I should have taken care of myself, rather than go through that horrible experience. Either way, I have never been yelled at by a business owner before. I feel they don't deserve a to be open. Take your good clothes and money somewhere else!!!! **Advice to owner*** you should really show some appreciation to your customers especially with so many other dry cleaners to pick from. I'm very disappointed as a long-time customer with this cleaners. I will no longer spend my money at a company that became very unglued and disrespectful. I was cursed at, threaten and was told that I needed to prove that the order existed because they couldn't find it in their system. (I'm a 50-year old business woman) Needeless to say, I found my ticket and learned that they placed it under another's person name. While I enjoy the pricing the customer service (especially by the owner) is ridiculously poor. I brought my husbnads pants in to have a zipper replaced. When I returned to pick up the pants it took 3 clerks and the owner to locate. When they were located (on the back of a chair in the alteration room) they were handed back to me covered with fuzz and wrinkled. They had never been tagged or placed on a hanger. They looked so bad I actually called my husband in to verify if these were the same pants we dropped off. During this interchange the owner was muttering and throwing me looks of disgust. Not once did I get and apology for the condition of the pants or the fact that it took 17 minutes for them to locate. NO THANKS... I've been coming to continental cleaners for years with no problems until recently. The last several times I had my clothes cleaned, most items were cleaned but a few items looked uncleaned and smelled very musty. Because I didn't have this problem in the past, I returned with more clothes to dry clean. The same thing happened as the previous batch but most of the clothes looked unclean and smelled awful. I mentioned this issue to a friend who also took her clothes to the same place. She shared the same complaint that I had with the clothes still being dirty and smelling odd. We both agreed that we are not willing to pay for our clothes to be returned filthy and smelly. The owner is made very rude comments and boasted about how his prices are more competitive and lower. I enjoyed the lower prices ONLY when my clothes were CLEAN. Low prices don't matter if you have to take them somewhere else to be cleaned again. I will not be returning here. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! They lost my shirt and gave me another customer's shirt. Thankfully I noticed and immediately brought it to the worker's attention. He did not want to reimburse me for my shirt THEY lost. I asked to speak to his manager who is also the owner I spoke with on the phone and he was RUDE and provided bad service. He stated my shirt is worthless and that they will not be refunding me for my shirt and service for cleaning the shirt. HORRIBLE SERVICE. It was a $80 shirt I had bought for my college graduation ceremony. and to know that they did nothing about it and did not take responsibility for their mistake is ridiculous. As any business they should rectify the mistake made on their behalf the customers/ consumers should not have to pay for their mistakes! His son who works there also told me that they will not be refunding my shirt and that they cannot do anything about it. I went there with my mom the other day and needed to get my business shirt cleaned because when I washed it I used too much soap and stained my shirt. I paid 11 dollars. BEWARE.. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLEANERS. I've been dry cleaning my clothes for years and decided to switch to this cleaners last year because of how cheap they are. Everything was so so until I dropped off an expensive suit and paid for the seamstress to fix a seem that had come undone. When I picked up my suit I checked the seem to see if it was done right and noticed two slashes on the inside of the pant leg. These slashes that look like they were made with scissors were not there when I dropped them off. Naturally I complained and the gentlemen began to accuse me of trying to rip them off. He proceeded to cut me off as I was trying to explain and then even denied having fix the original seem. After arguing with the what looked like the owner 15 minutes he said he would fix it but charge me $40. I could not believe the audacity and the lack of Custoner service this location has and I will never give these idiots one cent of my money again, they're Extremely Rude. This cleaners does not value customers or their belongings. I only took my quilt to have a coffee stained removed in one square at the very bottom of the quilt & they managed to damage the seams causing my quilt to come apart in various spots. Instead of taking responsibility & correcting the issue after paying for the cleaning, they also wanted to charge me additional to fix what they damaged. I do not recommend this cleaners to anyone! The staff was unprofessional (laughing at the issue) & refused to resolve the issue w/o fees. Also, the prices are a rip off. The owner, Jessie Sharif has absolutely no customer service skills. It amazes me how some of these businesses take our money but don't value our business & show lack of concern. I would hv never taken my items there...my fiancé actually took it there, not knowing. I patronize with a different cleaners, who value their customers & knows how to keep their customers coming back. read more
