The foods great but, they messed up my order, didn't put forks, if I didn't asked for napkins I'm sure I'll leave without it. The other cashers are great but, there's one particular person I'm clearly not satisfied..... It's the only lady casher there.... I know for a fact that she wasn't there before I've been going there for quite awhile and I received the best customer service before and now not really. It's not the first time I've received a terrible impression by this person. I don't know if I should continue going there... Love my local taco shop! There are friendly faces at the register each time I go in. They offer yummy aguas frescas, I always get horchata and my husband loves the piña. I always go for their tacos. Today I tried the mar y Tierra, adobada and carne asada tacos. And these tacos were fat! They were very generous on the meat. The mar y Tierra and adobada had a savory and Smokey flavor. The shrimp was cooked to its best for me. It wasn't too chewy or too soft and it had great flavor. The adobada was nice and caramelized. The tortillas are hand made which gives it an authentic taste and they did not get soggy or rip. The guac tasted fresh. This business has also participated in community events which is awesome! One of the best, if not the best California burrito I have had. The meat was flavorful and tender, the pico was bomb, and the cheese, crème, and fries were perfect. Best new taco shop in San Diego! The food is delicious and very tasty. I got the carne asada burrito and a good size for the $$ and the carne had a great flavor and cook on it. The tortilla are fresh and uplift the burrito. Service was friendly and fast, only about 15min for the order. The location is ok but could use a few more seats outside. I have to say that Contodo Fresh Mexican Eats is a hidden gem. This was my first experience, and I have to say my kids loved the fish tacos. I tried the asada, adobada, and asada fries. The workers/owners/cook all seem very nice and friendly. I have been several times in just a weeks time and everytime I go, they provide really great customer service! I like the fact that will rectify any errors with absolute kindness!! The guacamole is delicious! Not overdone, but made the right way, simple ingredients( FRESH AVOCADO ), FRESH CITRUS!! I have already told many family members about this neighborhood gem. I would have given 5 stars but the chips in the pollo asada chips I ordered were a little hard as opposed to crisp and I feel like the meat, crema, etc.., could have been layered because I had a lot of chip underneath but not a lot left to put on them.
