Gor knocked it out of the ballpark once again! This time I had him return to my residence to install a complete brand new split AC system with ductwork and new grills. Gor came out the same day and took time testing the condenser and air handler of the central air heat pump system. I new it was newer replacement system less than 7 years old but didn't know it was Lennox heat pump system that run on electricity only as Gor discovered in the attic space and testing the air compressor/heat pump unit outside. He diagnosed it was the thermostat failure and whoever installed the new system used a thermostat not really compatible with heat pump system. He installed a new thermostat that is compatible with the heat pump. Then test the cooling and heating system to ensure everything is working at 100% efficiency. He said everything else in the heat pump system was working properly with no issues. He charged for the thermostat replacement for very reasonable price and waived with inspection/diagnostic visit since he completed the repair. Gor was honest, reliable, and thorough in his visit. While remodeling our home to add a walk-in closet in our master bedroom we found ourselves in a bad situation where the only vent was now placed inside the closet. I opened a project in Yelp and Gor from Cool Penguin was quick to offer a consultation. Gor was very prompt in letting me know when he would arrive and very clear and concise in describing how he would approach the project, he also recommended a linear vent and was very up front about the cost difference. While inspecting the attic he found the attic cord to be too high and, out of his own volition helped lower it for the future - these are the small things that are high signal in recognizing high-integrity professionals. Gor provided a very reasonable estimate and made himself available in a matter of just a few days which we really appreciated given the mid-summer heat wave conditions. Our AC Unit started leaking out of nowhere and I contacted a bunch of AC Companies on Yelp for quotes. Gor responded the fastest and had the most reasonable price out of everyone that responded. He was able to schedule an appointment the next evening and was able to diagnose that our condensate line was clogged. After some work he was able to clear the clog and get our AC up and running again. Gor suggested that we get a small pump to allow the water to run to a backup line in case the drip pan overflowed. He gave us a fair quote for the pump and the work and within a week or so, had it installed in our AC. Throughout the process, Gor was extremely professional, polite, and punctual. I was having issues with my cooling on a recently installed AC unit by a different company. Gor came highly recommended by a close relative. We reached out to him the night before he arrived and he promised to arrive early in the morning, which he did . After a brief discussion about the issue, Gor began the troubleshooting/investigative process of identifying the issue. Within minutes, he was able to identify a leak coming from the main blower unit inside the garage. He was able to repair the connection, completely remove R- 410 refrigerant, pressure test the line for leaks and add R - 410 refrigerant that previously escaped. once the repair was completed, the system was tested multiple times with Gor on site to confirm the proper operation. The repair made a huge difference on the performance of the unit. The system was blowing about 30° cooler prior to his arrival. He was able to identify and repair the issue within a couple hours. Gor is extremely knowledgeable in his field and uses the most technologically advanced equipment that I've seen. Gor really does go out of his way to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the quality of work.
