It has a huge Willow Tree in front, a pond with ducks, a gazebo with a beautiful garden area and pond with fish, and is just so well done. We watched deer in the morning while we ate our breakfast! Lisa was so nice and took good care of us! Cookies when we arrived, a handwritten note, truffles in our room. Super friendly and helpful when we arrived. Every detail was so wonderful. There is a pool also but it was closed due to the weather being too cold but I'm sure it's amazing in the summer. Parking is good also. The inn is not too far from downtown and they offer a delicious breakfast as well. We had apple cider crème brûlée and sweet potato hash with chicken apple sausage. Good coffee too! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back to this lovely and charming place!

You could not ask for more!

We stayed in the Captain & Lizzie McCall Suite. It is simply stunning. The king bed was wonderfully comfortable and the furniture and decor was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious chocolate chip cookies and milk too. Breakfast was yummy too and right on time. The coffee was strong and food arrived promptly (perhaps the bacon was a little dry- but otherwise very well executed). I appreciated their communication in the days approaching our stay. Everything was seamless, comfortable, and relaxing. Exactly as we expected. highly recommend!

It is fragrance free, something that is almost impossible to find. You can find more info about that on their website. I think some of the products in the bathroom have natural fragrances, like the soap. The towels and sheets smell like no fragrance or perfume was involved in their washing. I am very sensitive to fragrances. They're very friendly and flexible about check-in. Breakfast is delicious, and they are flexible for allergen needs. I love staying here.

The room was elegant, with very high ceilings, completely decorated in the victorian style with lovely antique furniture, photos, and decor (old oil lamps etc.). The decoration was completely tasteful and not cluttered. Each morning, there is hot coffee prepared in the sitting room, which has a large table, lots of board games, and some comfy couches and chairs to sit in. My partner and I had an easy time doing a few hours of work each day in this room. The internet was fast and reliable. The hotel is very private, with no front desk staff and very few other guests, but there is someone on hand via phone or text, and they are able to get to the hotel within a few minutes to help with anything you need! They use a great platform for managing the reservation, where you can very easily purchase a 1pm late check out (for $25) - that came in very handy when we realized in the morning that we weren't going to be ready to leave at 11am! I am very guilty of makeup covered towels in hotels...which are always white, maybe so they can bleach the hell out of them. There was a small radio turned to news. (B&Bs typically do not have TVs). And lots of lighting options. The door unlocked by code...which meant not keeping up with a key. The pool was so lovely. The garden was absolutely gorgeous. And the breakfast was very good. I can not have tomatoes or tomatoes sauces ( sadly) and they had planned a Mexican breakfast dish with salsa. Somehow, they whipped up a yummy green sauce for me instead, so last minute. ( I arrived in the evening, so not a terribly convenient time to rethink the next day's breakfast). Due to Covid, breakfast was served outside at separate tables, but we were still able to socialize. The hosts were both lovely and had a nice sense of humor. They are located very near the downtown area and we're knowledgeable and could make recommendations of restaurants. I was only there one night, but it was a perfect final stay of my fantastic 10 day vacation!

So for Lunch one day, we drove out toe Irvine & Roberts for a wine tasting flight and to share a really delicious and intriguing cheese plate. The outside deck, the view, the service, and of course the wine were all stunning. My only regret was not taking pictures on this gorgeous (and a bit windy) day of the surrounding hills and valley. We also brought some wine home (Rose and Chardonnay) and was surprised that we didn't join the Wine Club as we sometimes do on special experiences such as this.

The staff was friendly , the maids friendly Just wish they would wait atleast til 9 before moving the furniture in the next room instead of 7 am The air conditioning does keep it cool. At 75 had to turn the fan off occasionally cuz it got too cold and I like chilly when I sleep. The breakfast is a deal for $5 but kind of got turned off when I saw staff replenish bread products with bare hands rather than gloves or using utensils. Will probably go to coffee shop across the street in the morning

I honestly cannot understand how the ratings can be so high…read more I did not enjoy this experience AT ALL. As an another reviewer opined just six days ago--- it was-- "disgusting." I find it really interesting that there seems to be some sort of public consensus to not rate this place honestly. Do I have to fear the wrath of the owner or the Oregon Hippie Community or something? Well, bring it on. I had been looking forward to visiting Jackson Wellsprings for YEARS, having first read about it in the book Thru Hiking Will Break Your Heart. My cousin and I had reservations this summer, but we ended up canceling most of our trip. Now I know that she did not miss out. I arrived on New Year's Eve, after having called first to make sure tent camping would be allowed. The woman at the front desk who checked me in was very friendly and polite, and could not speak highly enough about the place. After paying $25 to camp in the meadow, I could use the rest of the facilities for an additional $10. Generally speaking, $25 is cheap to camp, especially for someone with less experience on where you can camp for free, or how to get the kinds of massive discounts I usually get. But $25 is a lot to put up a tent on a communal noisy, tobacco filled lawn. I would note that sharing a group site at camp 4 in Yosemite is actually more glamorous for only $10/person. I'm not sure why Jackson Wellsprings feels that sleeping on their lawn is worth so much. The bathroom was so terrible that I did everything I could to avoid using it. There was literally five inches of space between the toilet seat and door, creating an impossible situation for any female who is larger than Twinkie. I literally was not able to shut the door while using the toilet without risking the fact that my pants would wipe the entire underside of the toilet clean of its ample soil. None of the restroom water was filtered in any way. The water that I used to wash my hands stunk like sulfur until I was able to take a shower somewhere else the next day. The spa shower was the same way. The water smelled so bad, it made me really uncomfortable. I felt like I was bathing in sewage. As a nursing school dropout, before dropping out, I got the highest grade in my microbiology class at Sac State. In this class, we learned to identify several pathogens by smell alone. I've also worked in volcanic environments and am familiar with how hot springs normally smell gassy. But this place just smelled bad. Bad bad bad. Like a literal toilet and like bad bacteria. For the public soak rate of $10-15, you get access to ONLY ONE COMMUNAL HOT SPRING which is set up like a hot tub and does not feel "natural" at all. This one pool had a lot of visible dirt and sediment floating in the water. It smelled like human chicken broth. An old rich lady and her autistic grandson were loudly gossiping about how fat everyone else looked. The fancier springs pictured on the internet cost about $85/hour to rent, and even if I had the money and audacity to do this, I would not do so based on the lack of cleanliness in the public facilities. The bathrooms were not clean, and in fact, everything was so dirty and gross that I'm confused by the more positive reviews. I felt itchy, smelly, and stuffed up until I was able to get to the nearest state park for a proper shower in clean water. When I got out of the shower and smelled the clothes that had been on my body, I understood why I'd overheard a Walmart associate gossip to her peers in Spanish (a few hours earlier) that "that white girl stinks." Even after doing laundry, my swimsuit still smells like a literal pile of garbage. This might have actually ruined my swimsuit. I would never do this again and I definitely don't recommend it.

The water slides are open Monday, Thursday, Fri-Sun, June-Sept. Pay for it. It's well worth it. The line moves quick and the kids had a great time. The snack bar has treats. Heads up, cash only. Great playground too when it's not in the 90°s.

My dog has stickers & pokies all over him because there isn't normal grass ANYWHERE. My family & I showed up in sandals & had slivers/stickers all in our sandals. Very painful. Their website photos are either edited or were taken a long time ago because this place looks nothing like it did on the website. If you're looking for a great family camping spot, this is NOT a good one.

Each room is unique and well laid out. We stayed in "The Ashland". I took full advantage of the claw-footed soaking tub in our bathroom, while my son curled up in the recliner and watched TV (yeup, there's cable TV with no annoying hotel channels to skip over). The bed was comfy and there were plenty of pillows. My son thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the pool. (Not big - but plenty big enough to get wet!) You really get the B&B feel with a touch of hominess, too. Every room also has a private, direct-dial phone. You get an off-street parking spot. And finally, each room has a private entrance with a patio - a great place to sit, enjoy the fresh air, and unwind.
