Breakfast on the patio was an anticipated event each morning.

We found this B&B online and it looked promising. We found it to be much more than that. Our room - we stayed in the Grape Arbor Cottage - was clean and comfortable. Breakfasts on the patio were delicious and conversations with the host and other guests were stimulating. It was an easy walk to the downtown areas and to the Shakespeare Festival venues. Our host Jordan was very welcoming and very friendly, without being intrusive. Oh, and he is an excellent cook! After a rough week at home, this was the perfect place to relax and wind down. I wish we could have stayed longer ... maybe next time! We will be back.

Exceptional in every way. The host's conviviality sets the tone for how houseguests interact with each other - - not just courteously, but warmly. The subject matter is the theater, which place we have seen and my thoughts about them. There are mostly repeat visitors. Breakfasts are personally suited, because if you have a special request, like you want eggs without cheese, or don't want that bagel, fine. These meals range from simple to complicated, with a toasted nut French toast and waffles. There are many rooms to choose from. The Rose room which faces the main drag has its own porch, one of the smaller rooms. The dickens room, upstairs, has a king bed and also a large bathroom area. The garden room is on the main floor and faces the courtyard, and has two separate beds. The parlor room, on the main floor, faces the front. The arbor cottage has a "kitchenette", which consists of a fridge, microwave, and sink, in addition to a separate room with an eating area and TV and a foldout couch. The sunroom is an entire floor on top of the hosts apartment. Like the arbor cottage, and it consists of two rooms, and main bedroom with a king size bed and large bath with Jacuzzi, and then the sitting room with a TV and a foldout couch: there is also also a walk-in closet with refrigerator.

Delicious healthy cornmeal pancakes with chicken apple sausage which was served after we ate our fresh fruit plate.

My husband and I stopped to stay a night in Ashland on our way home from Eugene. We love Ashland…read moreand decided to stay somewhere different than we normally do and chose Country Willows Inn and I am so glad we did! This is a stunning property. It has a huge Willow Tree in front, a pond with ducks, a gazebo with a beautiful garden area and pond with fish, and is just so well done. We watched deer in the morning while we ate our breakfast! Lisa was so nice and took good care of us! Cookies when we arrived, a handwritten note, truffles in our room. Super friendly and helpful when we arrived. Every detail was so wonderful. There is a pool also but it was closed due to the weather being too cold but I'm sure it's amazing in the summer. Parking is good also. The inn is not too far from downtown and they offer a delicious breakfast as well. We had apple cider crème brûlée and sweet potato hash with chicken apple sausage. Good coffee too! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back to this lovely and charming place!

Which has one king and and one twin bed. Perfectly appointed. The grounds are breathtaking. The pool and gardens are absolutely stunning. The cottage is situated next to a small pond with the cutest ducks quaking away., We loved it. The breakfast was off the charts delicious, fresh., perfectly made with care and love. Quiet, peaceful. You could not ask for more!

There is no onsite staff, so you need to make sure you've received your welcome email which contains the door codes to enter. The room was elegant, with very high ceilings, completely decorated in the victorian style with lovely antique furniture, photos, and decor (old oil lamps etc.). The decoration was completely tasteful and not cluttered. Each morning, there is hot coffee prepared in the sitting room, which has a large table, lots of board games, and some comfy couches and chairs to sit in. My partner and I had an easy time doing a few hours of work each day in this room. The internet was fast and reliable. The hotel is very private, with no front desk staff and very few other guests, but there is someone on hand via phone or text, and they are able to get to the hotel within a few minutes to help with anything you need! They use a great platform for managing the reservation, where you can very easily purchase a 1pm late check out (for $25) - that came in very handy when we realized in the morning that we weren't going to be ready to leave at 11am! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The host/owners, William and Corbet, are two of the most friendly and witty people I have met, the food is delicious, and the breakfast conversations are truly wonderful. I am already thinking of my next trip to OSF and will definitely be staying here when I do, I can't imagine staying elsewhere. It is located a pleasant 10-15 minute stroll from downtown Ashland and all it has to offer, including the Oregon Shakespeare Festival theatres.

I noticed little touches that should not be missed: The sink, located outside the toilet room, had a bench you could sit on and apply your makeup ( if that applies to you). This turned a sink into a dressing table. There were also packaged makeup remover wipes... Which probably keeps their towels, washcloths, and sheets from being stained. I am very guilty of makeup covered towels in hotels...which are always white, maybe so they can bleach the hell out of them. There was a small radio turned to news. (B&Bs typically do not have TVs). And lots of lighting options. The door unlocked by code...which meant not keeping up with a key. The pool was so lovely. The garden was absolutely gorgeous. And the breakfast was very good. I can not have tomatoes or tomatoes sauces ( sadly) and they had planned a Mexican breakfast dish with salsa. Somehow, they whipped up a yummy green sauce for me instead, so last minute. ( I arrived in the evening, so not a terribly convenient time to rethink the next day's breakfast). Due to Covid, breakfast was served outside at separate tables, but we were still able to socialize. The hosts were both lovely and had a nice sense of humor. They are located very near the downtown area and we're knowledgeable and could make recommendations of restaurants. I was only there one night, but it was a perfect final stay of my fantastic 10 day vacation!
