Fried Chicken Sandwich with pickled shallots and lemon slaw including the side of fries (and mimosa in the back)

I had a great mimosa brunch day at Copper. It's really the only intimate cocktail-focused bar in the Castro (your vodka soda doesn't count), which gives it extra points, but that wasn't my focus that day! The bartender was really friendly and welcoming. The space itself is surprisingly festive and bright during the day, even further toward the back of the bar. I was here in its previous iteration as Wicked 6 which was nice, but I've liked the changes they made. Fried Chicken Sandwich: It's crunchy and topped with pickled shallots and lemon slaw. It was delightfully lemony! I chose the french fries which were thin and had an interesting seasoning. It makes a substantial brunch meal. Bottomless Mimosas: What can you say about these? 90 minutes and an attentive bartender. It's a perilous combo.

We love this bar! Upon walking by, there happened to be window seats available! The bartenders were friendly and provided menus right away which included their specials and happy hour selections. Settling on 4 drinks, all were tasty and priced well. We didn't get any food but from what we saw, all of it looked good. Planning to return soon!

I had a great experience here. The bartender Paul made me something special with a touch of sweetness. It was so good. Paul is also a sweetheart. He makes us happy and feel welcomed. I will come back and try more stuff. The place is also cute with a fashion of high class. The lighting is romantic enough to bring your dates here. Great place.

We came to one of their trivia nights and had a great time! They have fun cocktails and a good selection of beers on draft. The service was quick and the food was good too! Really cute bar area and perfect for a night of trivia. Definitely a small interior but we had a party of 3 no problem.

We tried to find somewhere near our SF Airbnb and this was a recommended place for brunch! Looked at the menu beforehand, but our server/bartender Paul, was very informative also. The food was amazing. I got the chicken and waffles. The spicy and sweet combo was spot on. The red chili flakes paired with the maple syrup was phenomenal. My partner got the copper Benedict and we were both really impressed with the Hollandaise sauce! The bottomless mimosas and their "cheers queers" beer (as a non-beer drinker, this was a fantastic beer. Super light and didn't have the aftertaste you sometimes get from beer) were amazing, and paired with the ambiance and the views from the street window, we were so happy! What a great start to our vacay! Thanks Paul and Cooper Bar for a warm welcome to San Francisco

Vibes: amazing Drink: strawberry smash - super tasty Food: came here around 1015p on a Friday and the kitchen was still open. Ordered the burger (medium rare) with fries and when I tell you it was absolutely phenomenal, I mean, it was everything I absolutely needed. Cooked perfectly! The fries were perfectly crispy. Service: beyond exceptional! Super nice bartenders. 10/10 recommend !

Best little bar I've found in a while. Open window letting the sunshine and fresh air in. Excellent flavorful food too! Great service from PAUL. Super friendly, personable and makes you want to return: Great throwback music. Clean bathroom. Cute decor.

This place is such a vibe!! The bartender was alone but was very attentive to everyone at the bar, sitting outside and on tabletops. He did such a good job so shout out to Mikey I believe was his name. We had some chicken wings, which were so crispy and juicy, a Cesar salad, grilled cheese with fries and a couple drinks! Great location and of course street parking sucks but if you're going to drink don't drive.

I was craving a refreshing craft cocktail and got one with the Green Emmanuelle. I liked the cardamom in the Beauty Mark as well that my partner ordered. We ordered shishito peppers and mushroom bahn mi sliders. The mushroom bahn mi sliders were amazing - the quality fillings and taste of the soft bun - I was unexpectedly hit with a bite of spice from maybe jalapeño seeds left but didn't sour my experience. The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! Great experience, I would be weary if the peppers as I'm a bit spice-intolerant but everything else was spot-on.

It takes a lot for me to consider a return visit to a cocktail bar. Most of the time, I just begrudgingly go along with my friends to a mediocre bar, but Blind Pig is a place I would enthusiastically return to again and again. I first got the namesake cocktail: Blind Pig. It was incredibly well-balanced, and the flame presentation upon arrival was an epic mini show. Later during last call, I decided to risk it all and roll the dice to order from the secret menu. I rolled a 5, which got me a wine & Japanese beer concoction with Sichuan peppercorn. When we arrived, the restaurant was only partially filled, with several open tables clearly visible throughout the dining room. Unfortunately, our first impression was disappointing. We were greeted by a hostess who seemed unhappy and informed us that our only options were bar seating or an outdoor table. Looking around at the many available tables, it didn't make much sense, but we chose to sit at the bar which we didn't mind. What made the experience more frustrating was that those same open tables remained empty for the entire time we were there. While we understand restaurants may reserve tables for later reservations, when a dining room stays half-empty for the evening, it feels like a lapse of hospitality. For dinner, we ordered the Pork Tacos, Hot Honey Chicken, and a glass of wine. The Hot Honey Chicken was the standout of the evening, perfectly cooked, crispy, and packed with flavor. Served with honey sriracha and creamy mashed potatoes, it was savory, satisfying, and exactly what we were hoping for. The Pork Tacos were a bit disappointing. While the pork itself was tender and well-cooked, the overall flavor was quite bland, even with the accompanying dressing. It wasn't a bad dish, but it lacked the seasoning and punch needed to make it memorable. Overall, the bartender was nice, food was okay, Hot Honey Chicken definitely the highlight of the evening.

The sauce and yucca accompaniment did assist the dish. The steak dish however was very well done. The steak was cooked just right. The sauce that came with the meat patties was also a hit. I did dip the octopus into the sauce for some extra flavor. The meat patties themselves were good with the sauce. The cheese balls were a bit underwhelming, but dipped into the sauce that came with the meat patties, they were delicious. The drinks though... ABSOLUTELY DIVINE. I never had a green michelada before and their drink has me rewiring my brain to taste all micheladas their way going forward. It was light and so perfect with the black salt. The spicy kick was definitely there as well. The pisco sours were on point. Perfect to have while looking out to the bay. The Naked & Famous was a unique flavor as well. The cocktails were very delightful to have and definitely stimulated my taste buds. The service was great at first, but then the bar was packed with Giants fans and the service did slow down a bit, but not terrible. The carne asana tacos with the salsa macha was juicy and perfectly done, and my favorite small bite of the night.. The Yuka fries were perfectly salted and the aioli dip was exactly what you'd want out of fries. Even at 7pm it was packed and could definitely tell people had been there for awhile as there were multiple 20 something year old guys and gals stumbling around, so I guess they found the drinks to their liking (or more likely had so many they really couldn't ascertain the difference).
