The service was ok but the food was awful. My chicken was so chewy my jaw hurt after eating half of it. I couldn't finish it.

First visit, on a Friday night. Live music outside. Food was good. I had a meatball sub, wife had wings, son had a burger. Sub was good, wings were pretty normal wings but she only went with medium buffalo, and the kid is pretty trustworthy authority on burgers and he really liked it. We also had some fried pickles which were also good. I forget the dipping sauce that came with it but it wasn't your standard ranch. Service was friendly, attentive and quick. Went here based on the recommendation of someone whose been several times. We were both talking about how awful T-Bones is when he started bragging on this place. And he was right. It was great!! Hubs had the turkey burger, and since I'm doing the low carb thing, I had the chicken skewer appetizer which came with a very tasty cucumber salad. Mine was excellent, hubs said his was great. The service was fast and friendly (I wish I'd gotten our server's name so I could give her a shout out). They have a very diverse menu and I can't wait to go back to try something different next time. So glad to have them in the area. read more

First visit horrible service . Gave it another try and had a better experience sitting at the bar . Bartender Mary Kate was very friendly . Food is good ! The only suggestion I have is when you put an item on the menu called " The big fat gyros", you put more meat on it! Only a few slices . Being from the Chicago area , we are used to a stuffed pita . Amazing amazing amazing!! Food was great and only second to the service! So on top of all our needs and we came with our two little kids 3&1 year olds. The hostess was nothing short of amazing and made us feel right at home. By the time we left both of my kids gave her big hugs which means a lot to my wife and I. Will def be coming back. As for the food it was outstanding as usual we recommend the redneck egg rolls. read more

We were excited about a new option to our area. We went for dinner on our anniversary. Wasn't busy that night, but the food was absolutely terrible. We so enjoy Copper now that a few of the previous glitches have been resolved. The past several visits have been perfect, the food coming out of the kitchen is now consistent. The service has vastly improved - Michele is an excellent new server. The new manager, Brennan, is very personable. Babs has always been a great bartender. Tonight was an adventure! Was the first week opened so here it goes... It was a 45 min wait for a table at 6pm. Fair enough - it's a Friday night. Reality: a waitress with an attitude gave us a hard time for sitting at a reserved table - which was actually for us. She had no sense of humor but rather needed a big attitude adjustment. we ordered fried calamari for the table - was quite delish but serving portion was enough for two people. We put our order in and 45 mins later - no meal...we called over the manager Pauline who is fantastic. Awesome girl - great personality - understanding - just a good egg. We explained how long we had been waiting and she took care of us. Three of us ordered the fish n chips which were a hit and one ordered the kale salad with salmon which mainly was uneaten. Dessert was comped which was the fried Oreo cookies - would order them again. The brownie and ice cream was our second dessert - brownie was good ice cream was icy. This place will be great once the kinks get worked out. We'll be back in several months.... read more

What can I say about Copper Premium Pub but perfection!! The place looks amazing and has the perfect amount of lighting. The menu offers a variety of dinner options ranging from traditional southern "delicacies" (chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits are so good) to pizzas to seafood dishes! The fried Oreos are perfection!! This place is such a treat... not only is the food so good, but the staff is super friendly and helpful! If you go there on any night, you will also be likely to see the owners, Pauline and Freddie. They are the nicest people, and are always running around to make sure your experience is great! Not sure, been to the other place they run and it was fair, not anything to seek out. Went into this place one night and didn't get noticed at hostess area and couldn't find a place at the bar so I took off. It was shoulder to shoulder room only. I have to ask is it really that good or is it that it is trendy? Seems odd to make yourself uncomfortable and deal with a wait for a burger or a wrap. read more

The salmon was burnt, the "fresh" green beans looked old & we were seated next to the garbage can where we had to fight with bugs to stay away from our food...I Guess you have to be the owners relative or BFF to get a better table. Well that was fun while it lasted, I really thought that this was going to be a keeper, spent a ton of money at Copper in the short time they have been open, it seems the GM has his own set of rules and the owner has different ones, frustrated employees and a high turn over, if you want to watch sunday football in silence or have some music playing real low that's what your going to get. I know I'm not the only one who's noticed the decline. Just take a look at the parking lot, how the owner hasn't noticed the decline started when his new GM came on board is amazing. If you text the gm or send him a FB message you might get good service being he's always staring at his phone and texting or whatever he's doing, maybe do your job. Great addition to Lake Wylie, exceptional beer selections, the menu is huge, they are trying to keep up with how many people are showing up, ALL of the servers have been trained (they have tasted all the food) Nothing negative to say, new restaurant with typical first week issues, not anything huge. Compared to anything in the area you can't find better food, service or quality. read more

We waited about a month before heading out to this new restaurant in Lake Wylie. And the wait was worth it! The food is wonderful. We've enjoyed the fish wraps, burgers, sliders and salads there. When it's crowded there's a bit of a wait for your food, but the servers are attentive and friendly. It's a fun place for lunch. read more

I adamantly dispute the negative review by Brittan L. from the evening of 12/10/16. I was sitting RIGHT beside Ms. Brittany L. and her fiancé in the Army sweatshirt for many hours. BOTH she and her fiancé were laughing and enjoying watching the TV's. As the dinner hour approached, the restaurant did get more crowded and louder (as most restaurants do). It is impossible to have the volume turned up on multiple TV's with sports broadcasts, while a restaurant is near capacity, wait staff is working, patrons are conversing, etc. I saw the Owner at this couple's table multiple times, as he comes around to all the patrons and personally checks on food and service. AND, as I had stated I was RIGHT beside this couple, I heard the Owner cover their entire bill, & offer seating in another area - heated outside - where the volume COULD be adjusted higher! He never disrespected VETERANS. I have seen law enforcement officers come into Copper and EVERYONE including the Owner clap and thank the officers for their service. I have seen the Owner give discounts for Veterans. It is very disheartening that other negative reviews were also written on 12/10/16, which appear to be similar, and those reviewers are NOT local! To maliciously post on social platforms about a small business is just plain nasty! read more

GREAT FOOD, not so great service. We sat with empty tea glasses for more than 15 minutes, and only got a refill because I flagged down the poor hostess. Blackened tenderloin, mashed potatoes, and the sliders are all delicious, and yes I made my whole table share. But I wouldn't recommend the brussel sprouts, they left a weird after taste. Let's face it, Lake Wylie doesn't have tons of great eating places. There are a few for sure, but a new, very good place, is a welcome addition. My wife and daughter went here on a friday evening. I was expecting it to be crowded and it was. However, we did find a parking spot on the road beside the pub. We had a relatively short 40 minute wait for a table. They were packed, but thankfully the wait wasn't too long. They have a decent craft beer menu written on a chalkboard. A little hard to read and find what you want, I prefer a daily printed version, but still, they do have the selection. Our waitress was friendly and responsive. We ordered the fried green tomatoes appetizer which was very good. My daughter and I got burgers which were very good. My wife got a NC Trout entree, which was also very good. All in all, a very good experience. It was pretty loud given the large crowd. They also have an outside area, but kind of cold the night we went, so we opted for inside. Overall, an excellent addition to Lake Wylie and worth your time to visit. read more

I was excited about visiting Cooper! I wanted to like it, really I did! As it recently opened I expected it to be busy, which it was. We waited over 45 minutes for a table in their self proclaimed "Beer Garden" where you simply cannot get a beer unless you trudge back through the bar and hopefully get one. They don't have servers out there helping the people that are waiting for tables. We were seated and waited forever to even have a waitress stop by. They took our drink and appetizer order. The appetizers came out, but no drinks yet, mind you this is an hour after we were seated. The waitress kept apologizing and saying she was waiting on multiple sections. Still no drinks! I approached the manager, who actually turned out to be the owner. He was in the back the entire time worrying about adjusting the volume on the music or talking to people in a little room. He would come out occasionally to wipe up a spill or two. I asked him if it would be possible to help his staff like a legitimate manager/owner in an effort to get ticket times under an hour. He spouted back and told me I didn't need to tell him how to run his business. Our food was finally delivered and it was cold. I approached the manager again, he went to take the waitress in the kitchen to reprimand her which I wouldn't allow as this whole situation was his fault from poor planning and staffing. He asked me to leave. As I was leaving he came back to my table to tell me he was comping our meals. I said, you sure are because you kicked us out! He kept exchanging words with us and followed us outside. The atmosphere is nice and the beer selection is Ok, not great. It's someplace I really wanted to like but as long as that jerk is there we will never be back. We have our waitress $20 for having to work with that tool! read more

If it was possible to give zero stars for this review I would! We had company in town visiting and so decided to try this place Sunday night. We had a terrible experience and will not be going back. When we arrived it was busy and when you walk in there is no place to stand or wait. We were forced to huddle around the door/hostess stand/ entrance to the kitchen. We stood there for over 10 minutes and were ignored by over 5 employees. They would not greet us or acknowledge us and when we asked a few of them at several instances if there was a hostess, they tried to avoid eye contact and rushed by us delivering food and running around taking orders. We found this extremely rude and unprofessional. Finally after 15 min a girl who said she was the hostess asked us how many in our party and I told her 5. There were several tables in the back that were recently vacated but still dirty. She said it would be a 25 minute wait. We agreed to wait, but then she sat three people ahead of us at the only remaining corner table that would sit 5-6 people. She left the four top tables dirty and unseated. After another 10 minutes of waiting she came and told us we could either wait ANOTHER 25 minutes or we could sit outside immediately. We decided to try the outside patio, even walking past a empty clean table for 6 on the way out. When I asked her about sitting at it, she said it was going to be sat presently. After we were taken to the outside table, we were left. We waited another 15 minutes for a waitress to appear and greet us perhaps offering some drinks but she/he never came. All the while servers are rushing all around us waiting on others and IGNORING us. I tried to get their attention a few times but they pretended they didn't see me. I understand being busy as a waitress, but it is unforgiving to ignore your customers and refuse to acknowledge them just because your busy. We decided to leave and as we were walking out the hostess who had sat us seen us and deliberately walked away so she wouldn't be confronted.
