One of the best restaurants in the Lake Wylie area! They have a constantly filled seating area however, the weight is never very long compared to chain restaurants. The waitresses always seem to be in a great mood, and willing to joke around with their customers as well which makes you feel at home. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

Absolutely do not come here if you want hair in your food. Thankfully I took a picture of my food before I sent it back to make sure I wasn't served the same food - and disgustingly enough I was. When I asked to speak to the manager instead of being apologetic he was nothing but rude, made excuses, and made me feel like it was my fault it happened. We've been going to The Copper regularly since it opened in 2016. We go about three times a month for lunch or dinner, especially dinner. The menu is well balanced with interesting choices that would satisfy anyone. We've never gotten a bad meal there or had inadequate service there, and we find this extraordinary consistency amazing! The restaurant is always slammed, but the food is delicious , the servers quick, helpful, and knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable for the food, quantity, and quality of it that is offered. This was our first time here. We started with fried pickles and we have had fried pickles everywhere and these are the best. Our server was Taylor and she was wonderful on it every step of the way.I had the lamb burger and fries my husband had the fire cracker burger and fries. Both were cooked to perfection. Me and the wife were turned on to this place earlier this year by a friend. We were hooked after the first visit! We live in Lincolnton so it's not a long drive but even if it was it would so be worth it!!! Hands down best fried pickles we have ever had and awesome boom boom shrimp....we have had burgers, the meatloaf, the steak, chicken and waffles, crab cakes and many others and everything we have tried has been awesome...each time we go back we try something different! We went here shortly after it opened, and I waited to post any reviews, initially. The service was lackluster in the beginning, but that has all since changed. When the weather is warm, that patio and outdoor area is the best in town! They can definitely be super busy and have long waits (but that is because they are good). The Lake Wylie area definitely needs more spots like this around! We have tried various different menu items (from burgers, salads, apps, wings, sliders and more) and have never been disappointed. We have not tried the pizza, as it doesn't quite look like our style, but lots of people order it! The wings could use a bit more kick / spice to them, but that's because we really like spicy! Definitely a spot to check out and give it a try! (and plenty of space for kids to run around outside, as well!) read more

The food is always good, the service is hit or miss. The last time our family was there, each of our orders was wrong, my (adult) daughters was wrong THREE TIMES. Then when I got home I went to do some online banking and noticed they charged the entire table to me---TWICE. They had not removed the incorrect items they had said they'd remove. At the time I paid, I admit to not checking the bill, because we just wanted to get out of there. I'd like to think it was just an off night, but it's happened more than once. read more
