Have been wanting to try this place since we moved to Lake Wylie. Was meeting a colleague for lunch so we figured we would give it a shot. We were seated quickly and sat at one of the high top tables in the bar area. There is a fairly large bar with plentiful seating. The server was attentive and friendly, and kept our glasses full throughout the meal. I had the fried pork chop sandwich, which was very good. My colleague had the BLT, unfortunately he wasn't a big fan. They have around 30 taps featuring many local and regional breweries, I will definitely be back when not working to try a few of the beers. read more

Ok, so it starts with us coming in and then them leading us out side to the covered parking lot.they seemed a bit upset we wanted to sit inside. Listen, when I dine out if I want to sit outside in the winter, I Will let you know , but I should not be frowned upon because I want to sit inside.then we had a beer while we waited and this waitress was the only good part of the night. We were then seated with a Julia who was hanging out with he two men at the table behind us. Listen that is all fine and good but when we had a question about what was served and she said she would be right back, she never came back.Then she was asked for crackers for the watery bisque and she said just a minute.We had to have a hostess get them.Then she was supposed to bring us 2 plates and another waiter got those. the food was ok, but the soup was way to watery and it felt like water was added to stretch the nights special. I stopped by with my two friends to grab a bite to eat. They were a bit busy so we waited a little bit for service. We ordered watermelon margaritas and they were delicious!! I ordered the fish sandwich that was cooked to perfection and my girlfriends enjoyed their food as well. The portion sizes a decent and you'll probably end up with leftovers. They don't have a dedicated bar menu but they can make just about any drink you like. The parking is decent and they have indoor and outdoor(heated) seating. read more

The menu is pretty extensive and reasonably priced. Good portions served by great people. Hate to call it a sports bar because it's better than bar food. Love the beer list and specialty cocktails. Absolutely do not come here if you want hair in your food. Thankfully I took a picture of my food before I sent it back to make sure I wasn't served the same food - and disgustingly enough I was. When I asked to speak to the manager instead of being apologetic he was nothing but rude, made excuses, and made me feel like it was my fault it happened. One of the best restaurants in the Lake Wylie area! They have a constantly filled seating area however, the weight is never very long compared to chain restaurants. The waitresses always seem to be in a great mood, and willing to joke around with their customers as well which makes you feel at home. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

We've been going to The Copper regularly since it opened in 2016. We go about three times a month for lunch or dinner, especially dinner. The menu is well balanced with interesting choices that would satisfy anyone. We've never gotten a bad meal there or had inadequate service there, and we find this extraordinary consistency amazing! The restaurant is always slammed, but the food is delicious , the servers quick, helpful, and knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable for the food, quantity, and quality of it that is offered. Me and the wife were turned on to this place earlier this year by a friend. We were hooked after the first visit! We live in Lincolnton so it's not a long drive but even if it was it would so be worth it!!! Hands down best fried pickles we have ever had and awesome boom boom shrimp....we have had burgers, the meatloaf, the steak, chicken and waffles, crab cakes and many others and everything we have tried has been awesome...each time we go back we try something different!
