Wonderful atmosphere for game day ! The food/ service never disappoint. Child friendly as well !

We went here shortly after it opened, and I waited to post any reviews, initially. The service was lackluster in the beginning, but that has all since changed. When the weather is warm, that patio and outdoor area is the best in town! They can definitely be super busy and have long waits (but that is because they are good). The Lake Wylie area definitely needs more spots like this around! We have tried various different menu items (from burgers, salads, apps, wings, sliders and more) and have never been disappointed. We have not tried the pizza, as it doesn't quite look like our style, but lots of people order it! The wings could use a bit more kick / spice to them, but that's because we really like spicy! Definitely a spot to check out and give it a try! (and plenty of space for kids to run around outside, as well!) read more

The food is always good, the service is hit or miss. The last time our family was there, each of our orders was wrong, my (adult) daughters was wrong THREE TIMES. Then when I got home I went to do some online banking and noticed they charged the entire table to me---TWICE. They had not removed the incorrect items they had said they'd remove. At the time I paid, I admit to not checking the bill, because we just wanted to get out of there. I'd like to think it was just an off night, but it's happened more than once. read more

This place has a nice atmosphere. Nice tables, booths, and TVs everywhere. We came on a Sunday. Be sure to check out the Specials board as soon as you walk in a little to the right on the far wall. We didn't see it until we were leaving. As an appetizer we got a pretzel with cheese. The pretzel was fine, the kinda cheese I'm calling it, was not. It reminded me of the cheese in a broccoli cheese soup. Yeah, they definately cut a corner here and I won't be getting this again. The chicken marsala over mashed potatoes with green beans was really good. The beans were too crisp for my liking, so if I ever got them I'd ask for them to be cooked longer. But this was my fiance's dinner and he was fine with it. The star of the night was the breaded pork chops over mashed potatoes with gravy. Yum !!! I ordered the collard greens as a side and they weren't any thing special. But this restaurant's food is solid so will definately be back. read more

Another disappointing meal Friday night at Copper Pub. I ordered the grilled salmon salad. It came with only two small pieces of tomato. I ordered the salmon cooked medium and after a couple bites, it had a really fishy rancid taste to it. I thought I was going to get sick. I stopped eating it and notify the waitress. She took it away and asked me if I wanted another one. I don't think that's the correct response because I'm not going to eat another one of the same thing. The manager, Kelly came over and apologized. He did not offer any discount or rebate on the fish. He said the fish is fresh and not sure why this happened. He said he smelled the fish and smelled fine. He said he did not taste it though. Since I only had two bites of this, there was opportunity for him to take a bite of the other side of the fish that was never touched to see what was going on. I guess if I was the manager I'd would want to figure this out and would've done that. I did not ask for a refund but I did expect one based on my experience. It's only a $16 salad. I would think that would be common courtesy. Based on this and other experiences I've had at this restaurant, I'm done going there. There are other choices out there. Lily's Bistro across the street is a excellent alternative. read more

Copper Premium Pub is hands down our favorite restaurant in the area. We live in Rock Hill and don't mind driving for it. The food is TOP NOTCH. We have loved everything we have tried. We highly recommend Lulu's Chicken Limonese, Crab Cakes, Super Grouper, and the Big Fish Sandwich (with or without the bread). The Bang Bang Shrimp is a perfect appetizer. They have the coldest beer in all the state--I'm sure of it. The service is way above average-the wait staff is friendly and attentive. They have lots of TVs for game watching and the outdoor area is perfect even in summer because of the cover and the fans. Honestly there is nothing we would change about Copper Premium except to move it to Rock Hill!! read more

Just in town for the night this place came recommended so we tried it. Probably the best turkey burger I've ever had and had plenty of other menu ooptions I'd love to come back and try. Service was prompt and waitress was very pleasant. Prices were reasonable, beers were good, and lots of tvs to watch. Truffle Mac didn't seem to have much truffle oil at all, but still tasted delicious - just not like truffle. My husband enjoyed his Benjamin Burger a lot as well. The food is very good here and usually reasonably priced, but there is something inherently wrong about charging an additional $3.50 for a different, not additional vegetable. I ordered a meatloaf dinner with mashed potatoes and collard greens. Now, everyone knows green beans go with meatloaf and mashed potatoes, but the upcharge to change, not add, collard greens to green beans is $3.50. Guess those green beans are stirred with a golden spoon. Rather than add insult to injury, I stayed with the collard greens which were ok, although a little tough. Companies need to consider how pinching pennies hurt their reputation with their customers. When the bad times come again, and they will, they'll need those customers' loyalties. read more

A nice independent restaurant in Clover, York County, SC near Lake Wylie (Lake Wylie is a body of water, not a town). We have been there several times with friends and family. Seating is about evenly split between inside and on a covered patio. The patio has plenty of fresh air in the summer and is closed off and heated in the winter. First time here. Really busy place. But plenty of staff to keep up. Full bar and lots of great beers on tap. Friendly servers that clearly work well together. I ordered the Benjamin Burger and fries. Cooked medium. Really good. Fries crispy and hot. Burger nicely done and not overwhelmed with toppings. Nice roll and glad they don't toast it. We got there about 5pm waiting maybe 20 minutes if even that to be seated. We started with party of 10 and ended with about 16 of us by the end of the night and our Server outside was Taylor. And wow she was amazing! She checked on us consistently. She made sure we had everything we needed even when we were giving her literally so many drink and food orders at once. She was nice and patient with us! (Even he drunk ones Hahahahaha) She even helped me hide the birthday cake and gave us extra plates and stuff for the celebration!!!
