We were greeted and seated promptly when we arrived. Our server checked for drinks, and came back and answered our questions, and took our order. The seating is good, and they have bar seating also. Stephanie did an awesome job caring for us. The baguette for my po boy was outstanding, the shrimp were tender and blackened to perfection. The restrooms were clean, the restaurant was well maintained. We enjoyed our lunch.

Came her with my parents and husband on a Saturday afternoon. My dad raved about a catfish dish they had- Catfish Mardis Gras, so my husband and I split it with a bowl of gumbo on the side. The cream sauce on this dish is out of this world. This is definitely a must try! The gumbo had a little too much chicken for my taste, but overall we really enjoyed ourselves. My mom got pancakes bc they also have breakfast - and these were the biggest pancakes I had ever seen! She loved them and even took some home with her due to the massive portion. We will definitely be back!

Definitely not Louisiana cooking. It was mediocre at best. I had to ask for my shrimp poboy to be dressed with lettuce tomato pickles and onions and tartar sauce. There were three young children running around the restaurant I believe they belonged to a worker. Not my idea to have small children running around and swinging Mardi Gras beads while I am trying to enjoy a Valentine's dinner with my husband. Not likely to return.

This place right here, excellent all around. Nice ambiance, friendly staff. Now let's get to the food. I had a shrimp Poboy and it might be one of the best po boys I've had in a long while. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, the bread flaky and buttery. The sauce they used on the shrimp was *chefs kiss* not sure if it was some kind of remoulade or just a cream sauce but it took it over the top. My wife was stealing shrimp and dunking it around the sauce left and right. My wife had jambalaya and it got her seal of approval, high praise as she is from Louisiana. The sausage was the star of that show, nice smoky flavor complemented the rice nicely. If you're in the Spring area check this place out, you won't be disappointed.

    Catfish Mandi Gras!!

The staff were super friendly and very attentive especially Abby who explained many of the dishes to me in detail and told me the customer favorites .. They have Yuengling Flight and. Lager on tap and in bottles, which was a bonus. I had the Boudin and the catfish Mardi Gras and they were both delicious. The catfish Mardi Gras is shareable if you have an appetizer. I will be back and highly recommend this place.

Fantastic food! And our waitress was hustling! We started with Boudin balls to share. They had amazing flavor! Possibly my favorite item we had here today. We ordered separate dishes, but tried everything: I got the Chicken and sausage gumbo. The flavors were really good. The potato salad that came with it reminded me of deviled eggs. Hubby got 2lbs of the crawfish boil. Great flavors! It had potatoes and corn, but wasn't just filled with that. My son got the catfish platter- probably the most perfeft catfish I've had before. The fish was soft and flaky and had amazing flavor. Also loved the coleslaw and hushpuppies that came with it. My daughter ordered the crawfish Mac n cheese- that was also one of my faves that we ordered. The flavors were to die for! My other daughter got the biscuits and sausage gravy. They were ok, but overpriced for what you get IMO. She also got a side of pancakes, and those were super tasty! My other son got the seafood pasta. The flavors were amazing, but there wasn't a ton of meat in it, making it way overpriced. Overall, we loved our food and would come back again, if we're in the area.

Actually, they have a good size menu and have some American options along with juices and smoothies so It made ordering easy. They also have a full bar with several cocktails and mocktails. Inside right when you enter is the actual bar with about 6 seats which were full with customers during my entire visit. Their happy hour ends at 6pm, but I arrived at 7pm so I ended up missing the discounted drinks. I ordered the cod and shrimp pita which ended up being slightly different than the regular gyro. I had to set it down after a couple of bites since the wheat pita bread is much thinner than regular pita bread and it kept falling apart on me. I also added a mango mojito. With a name like Island Grill, I sort of expected to see more tropical drinks or rum-based cocktails show up on the menu, but this was about the only one. Overall, my experience was okay, but I don't know if it was good enough for me to return.

Red and white checkered vinyl tablecloths and booths that have seen a lot of action, this place is unchanged for who knows how long. Okay, as an Italian that loves to cook, I will say this place is catering to its older generation and overly cautious about its use of seasoning., and their paper cost. (We've asked for napkins 3 times now) I don't think they even salt the water for the potatoes or macaroni because both of these sides are blah. The black eyes peas were creamy and good ( and yes, I had to add salt to these too, but thats a given) once I got the salt right, I loved them. The portions were big enough of the fried catfish and the sliced beef that we could have shared one of those entrees, but we both wanted something different. Overall, great place, definitely recommend.

I know. "Fine dining" and burgers? But that's what I wanted. I searched the web and found the Chefs Table in Vintage Park, and it wasn't too far from us here in The Woodlands, so we decided to make reservations and head there. From the moment we entered, we were treated like special guests. The ambiance is rich, but not overdone or stuffy. Simply classic and relaxing. Our booth felt private and unhindered by conversations of nearby diners or wait staff bustling past. Our cocktails were perfect. The calimari we ordered as an appetizer was probably the most tender and delicious either of us have ever had. And when our burgers arrived, I was so happy. It was exactly what I had set my mind on when selecting my birthday dinner experience. The blend of brisket and chuck was absolutely delicious, set atop a perfectly buttered toasted bun, with some crispy onion straws on top. And the fries... oh my! I rarely if ever eat fried food - so clearly this was my big day to completely go off my standard fare, but those fries had the perfect crunch and flavor. Apparently, when my husband made our resv, he told them it was my birthday, so our server brought out a delightful complimentary spiced cake dessert after we were finished eating - for us to share. It was the perfect finish to an already amazing meal. Thank you to the entire staff at The Chefs Table yesterday, for helping to create a memorable and delicious birthday feast for my husband and me. We will definitely be back to try some other delights because the menu is packed full of amazing looking dishes.
