Imma jump right into this 1 w 2 feet!! 1st of all, the breakfast menu was up during lunch and the 1st 2 employees could give a damn less if I located a menu. 1st employee visibly frustrated "pointed" to some menus FOR CATERING!! Another employee gave me a "Features" menu featuring 9 freaking dishes. Finally a Manager walked by and I asked him for a menu. He changed the wall menu from breakfast to lunch. I was so thankful! It was like the 2nd coming of Christ !! I ordered the Pick 2 (Chicken Orzo Soup & BBLT Sandwich) and Hubby ordered a Pick 2 (Chicken Noodle Soup & Chicken Pesto Sandwich). 25 minutes later when our food arrived to the table by way of an employee that was less than enthralled, my Chicken Orzo Soup was ice cold and toasted White bread on sandwich was cold. Sent Soup back for a reheat. The soup graduated from ice cold to cold. Hubby's food was just ok. Thank God I still had stale popcorn from Airport to feast on. I will never ever ever return here!! So the food I've gotten has been below average. I got a salad the first time I went and it was served on a paper plate with shrimp that looked raw. The second time I got the chicken panini which was pretty okay. But the actual restaurant is a DUMP. Every single table has food crumbs and stains all over it and the floors are just disgusting. I don't think the staff cleans ever. They sit around and talk a lot. There's also one specific employee who is especially nasty. When serving me my salad half of the spinach fell to the side (the paper plate isn't very smart!) and she took her bare hands and picked it up and topped it onto my salad. Ridiculous. read more

Full disclosure--I was prepared to give a bad review based on my initial reaction to the food. I ordered to-go but when I went to pick up I was surprised at how spacious and inviting the dining room was. I look forward to visiting to dine in. I ordered the Anaheim Scrambler. When I opened the container, I observed in horror the "garnish" of overripe, brown, slimy avocado. Poor decision to add that--a better option would have been to offer me a muffin and leave off the avocado. Once I picked off the slime, the rest of the dish was delicious, including the potatoes. Corner Bakery cafe is a great spot if your looking for breakfast or lunch in downtown Atlanta. The menu has a great selection anywhere from a spinach bacon egg and cheese scrambled egg bowl to French toast with eggs and bacon . During lunch , you can mix and match your favorite paninis and sandwich's with soup salad or pasta. I probably eat here at least three times a week so I'll go ahead and post my recommendations below. Breakfast - any of the overnight oatmeal's, power bowl egg scramble , chicken sausage wrap , or the farmers scramble . This past holiday season, I received in the mail, a box of sweets from the Corner Bakery Cafe. The sweets were packaged and sent from Washington, D.C. I received the following two sweets: 1. Raisin Pecan Sweet Crisps (one bag of 10 crisps) 2. Cinnamon Pecan Rugalachs (one bag of 6 rugalachs) Since I'm not sure of the exact origin of these products, I'm just going to post a review for the Corner Bakery Cafe location closest to me (Atlanta Downtown). Though I will say the label on the back of the Raisin Pecan Sweet Crisps said they were manufactured in Dallas, Texas. The treats were wrapped in crisp, clear plastic bags with Corner Bakery Cafe stickers. The bags were tied shut with thin black ribbon. The Raisin Pecan Sweet Crisps had an identifying tag. The Cinnamon Pecan Rugalachs did not. I didn't know what to call the rugalachs at first (they were just another type of pastry to me). Then I looked them up online and learned the word "rugalach." Both the Raisin Pecan Sweet Crisps and the Cinnamon Pecan Rugalachs were covered in crystal sugar. There was so much crystal sugar that you could see and hear the large granulated sugar crystals shaking around inside the bags. Needless to say, these things were a mess to eat. Sugar and crumbs got all over the place with each jostle and bite. Both treats were delicious. I preferred the Raisin Pecan Sweet Crisps. They were like crispy slices of raisin pecan bread. Sweet and buttery. The Cinnamon Pecan Rugalachs were even more buttery and rich. Rugalachs are doughy and this one contained a variety of nuts and raisins in addition to a sprinkling of cinnamon and sugar. A heavy pastry if you ask me. I enjoyed my gift of sweets from the Corner Bakery. If you're looking to ship baked sweets as a gift to someone, it would be worth giving Corner Bakery a look. read more

Good breakfast options for a variety of dietary needs. And the staff was all lovely. When a colleague's order was lost, they were extremely apologetic and made it correct with her. I've eaten here prior via delivery and not really had issues. I guess today is an off day. 1st and foremost the bread of the BLT I ordered was burned. We ordered sandwiches that were given to us on tiny paper plates,the eggs in them were cold and didn't seem like they were fully cooked. My daughter spilled a little of her water and when I cleaned it up I went to find more napkins and they are no where to be found. I love this Corner Bakery in Atlanta. Every couple of years I fly into Atlanta and this is one of my favorite stops for breakfast before I start my day. It's located right off of Peachtree St in the heart of downtown Atlanta. Corner Bakery Cafe is a fast casual restaurant that started making artisan breads and freshly baked sweets on a corner in Chicago in 1991 and then eventually went to soups, sandwiches and salads. Now they have locations all over the U.S. We even have one in Phoenix where I live. I personally come here for their awesome breakfast paninis (my favorite is the Anaheim panini). The eggs are nice and fluffy and they use fresh ingredients. This most recent trip I got the Bacon & Cheddar Panini with a side of steel-cut oatmeal. I always stop at the corner bakery cafe when im I'm Lennox mall! It's become my spot really, and I try to get different things off the menu each time I go. The staff are sweet and help you make a decision based on what you like. I usually don't like mushrooms and I didn't even realize this panini had mushrooms in it but they definitely complimented the Prime Rib well.
