Visited this restaurant for their private Grand Opening event. There were many passed hors d'oeuvres and desserts available I like the idea of the hot pot station, but unfortunately the broth was cold almost immediately after it hit my bowl and it lacked flavor. The signature cocktails were both very good and there was a violinist on site playing classic and modern hits. I must say that the majority of the staff was very pleasant and I appreciated the manager and PR person taking the time to stop by and thank us for coming. Overall, this event was nicely done and I had a good time. Looking forward to coming back and trying some of the regular menu items.

I had breakfast here three times during my stay at the Atlanta W Downtown. The service was phenomenal and the servers were extremely nice, they remembered my name each day I came in and greeted me every time. For $10-15 you can get a pretty decent breakfast here, as a platinum elite member I had a free breakfast included so I tried to sample a few of the dishes. - Egg White Omelette - Omelette was great but I wish I had asked if I could've gotten a different side than the potatoes. Eating the potatoes made me feel like I had offset the healthiness of the omelette. -Avocado Toast - Probably my favorite breakfast option I got during my stay. Unfortunately the half of the toast I received was pretty severely burnt but I was too much in a rush to ask for a new one. The half that wasn't burnt was extremely delicious, the avocado had the perfect amount of acidity to it. - Great Wake Bowl - Probably the least favorite dish I tried during my stay. The ham made the dish a little too salty for my taste and the egg was room temperature, I would have preferred a warmer egg given the rest of the dish was warm (my personnel preference). Overall pretty decent breakfast at the hotel for not too steep of the price. Would definitely eat here again if I stay at the W.

Saw reviews before and has been wanting to give it a try. Very mediocre food but friendly service, only reason for a 2 star. Also, validation for valet parking (this is a restaurant in the W hotel) expires after 2 hrs but no one tells you that prior to parking with valet. So ended up paying $15 for parking so just FYI. I don't see this restaurant lasting for more than a year. If so, it's probably just because it's part of the hotel. It was a disappointment in summary.

Such a lovely and flavorful meal! I was in a rush and only got food through pick-up. Hence, I can't…read morespeak about the dining experience here. I got the Shrimp & Grits to-go. It came with a cornbread, a buttery biscuit, and banana pudding. I was pleasantly surprised by the other items since the ordering site only listed the entree. Best Shrimp & Grits I've had to date. The shrimp was fresh and not overcooked or rubbery. The grits were smooth. The gravy was well seasoned, but not overly salty or rich. The cornbread and bread or biscuit was good, but not extraordinary. Those were quite dense and heavy paired with the other food. I loved the banana pudding. This meal jumpstarted my banana pudding hyper fixation. Very fragrant and not too thick yet still nice and creamy. It wasn't overly sweet or heavy either. It was a good dessert to round out the meal. I hope to come here again and have an actual sit down experience. Curious to see the ambiance!

The food was so good and unique, I recommend the ceasar wedge with housemate bagel chips and the biscuit battered chicken sandwich, yum. The space is clean but not sterile: exposed brick, warm wood, and a bar that glows like it wants you to linger. *The food* skips the tired "burgers and mac" checklist. Think short rib agnolotti with smoked corn puree, charred broccolini with miso-garlic butter, and a fried chicken sandwich that somehow stays crisp under a jalapeño honey glaze. Portions are generous without being wasteful, and everything tastes intentional like the kitchen tested it 10 times before it hit the menu. *The cocktails are the real flex.* The menu changes seasonally, but the bar team leans into flavor over gimmicks. I tried the *Oaxacan Old Fashioned* with mezcal, mole bitters, and orange peel that's torched tableside. Smoky, slightly sweet, zero gimmick. My friend went for the *Cucumber Basil Gimlet* and said it tasted like summer in a glass. No sugary syrup bombs here. Bartenders actually explain what's in your drink if you ask, and they're good at steering you if you're unsure. Service hit the sweet spot between attentive and relaxed. Water refills showed up without hovering, and the server knew the menu well enough to call out what's spicy, what's rich, and what's worth splitting. It feels like a place locals will become regulars at, but it's good enough to bring out-of-town friends to. Creative without being precious, tasty without being safe. Sorry I didn't take pictures,
