Usually I don't like drinking the broth when I eat beef noodle soup but then this restaurant actually made a broth that tastes great. They also don't only sell beef noodle of course. The food here is great. But the service of this place is terrible. I know about the wait times so I placed a phone order when they opened. They told me to come by in 30 minutes. I followed their instructions and when I showed up there was a line. I asked them if they were picking up or ordering. Everyone said they were waiting for someone to come to the window. So I waited in line. When I got up to the window, 15 minutes had already passed and I told him I'm here to pick up. Then a lady asked me to wait. They seemed busy as they were running around. I decided to be respectful and wait. Another 20 minutes and there was a small line forming behind me. I asked if my pick up was ready and no one responded. Another customer asked if we were in line to order or pick up. I said no one is coming to the window and he went to the back of the line. I called them on my phone and I said I wanted to pick up and I've been waiting at the window. They tell me that I haven't said anything and I've been just standing there. So if you visibly see someone waiting in front of your business for almost 30 minutes, you don't go ask if they need to be helped? You see a long line and you ignore it? Don't make excuses. Don't say it's my fault for not speaking up when I did twice. Disgusting. Of course the food was cold. Don't worry. I make sure I'll make a big commotion and let them all know that there is a customer waiting for service and would like their food hot and on time. Apparently us customer's really need to work to get things done right. I mean we are paying them so we could do their jobs ourselves! read more

The only thing good here is the beef noodles but it was decent, I had better. I do not recommend the cha chuang mein, it's dry and oily. They were out of honeycomb tripe @ 12pm, which I wanted to try. Cucumber looks like it's been there for days, didn't look fresh like the pictures on yelp. Came to eat here because I don't like waiting. Leave with an appreciation for Taiwanese noodle. It being a unique favor that isn't like Japanese ramen and isn't the same as vietnamese pho. The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars is because my best friend makes me taiwanese beef stew noodles quite often and I tend to find his soup a lot more flavorful with lots of kick. The soup here is pretty good but it doesn't have the kick I am looking for. The soup was also pretty salty considering. Their portions though, are enormous and totally worth the money! Mediocre. Star is definitely the beef noodle soup, but everything else on the menu is average at best. The noodles were al dente, the broth was flavorful, but the beef was too chewy. The cucumber salad was frozen from being in a refrigerator too long. Seaweed was tasteless. Just go for the beef noodle soup and skip everything else. We won't be coming back. read more

Big disappointment. Two stars because service was decent. I bought to-go. Everything was super oily and salty. The beef noodle soup was oily and so salty that the broth was almost undrinkable. The pork chop rice was overfried, dry and super salty. On top of that, prices are not cheap. actually stumbled upon this place on accident with some co workers. we parked on this side of the plaza and decided to give it a chance. we were already on the hunt for the Pho place across the way but this place had soup too. The place is cash only as many asian places are. went with the beef stew noodle to keep it simple. I loved the texture of the noodle. thicker and nice bite to it. I've been here twice. Had beef noodles twice but the flavor was inconsistent. First time I was there, soup was actually not salty, thin noodles were squishy, soft, it was OK, quite bland. Second time was different, soup was flavorful, a little bit salty, thick noodle was great. Service was great. My husband and I came because we were craving Taiwanese food and wanted to try a new place. This restaurant is like a hole in the wall, which is what we like! The restaurant half filled and I'm amazed that there was only one waiter, he was able to serve us quickly and put food on our table within 5 minutes. very authentic taiwanese noodle house, my wife loves the popcorn chicken rice and the garnish are so tasty, the owner changes the garnish once awhile and it is very consistent. the choices is very limited but they are famous for their beef noodle, personally i don't have preference over thick or thin noodle, their spicy sauce is definitely an add on. be sure to drop by when you pass by this place for some warm beef noodle soup. the beef will blow your mind. read more

Came here 2 weeks ago during lunch hour. The waiter acknowledged me upon walking in, sat down and then was ignored for roughly 10 minutes. Finally the waitress came to get my order, she did apologize and took my order. I ordered the beef & tendon noodles which came out within 5 minutes. The soup base tasted basically like soy sauce with some spiciness added for flavor. The noodle itself had good texture, al-dente if you like it like that. I've definitely had better but for this area I guess it's okay. I may come back if they improve on the flavor more. read more

Found this place on Yelp and tried it out. The service here are very courteous and attentive. And their beef noodle soup is by far the best best beef boodle soup that I've had in US! Minus two stars because even though the beef noodle soup is very good,everything else they taste below average. Also they stop serving half of the things on they used to serve, half of the things on the menu are crossed out. So if you see something from one of the Yelp pictures and you want to try it, there's a good chance they don't serve it anymore. read more

This is truly the most legitimate version of Taiwanese beef noodle soup you will get anywhere in this area. I've tried sooo many places, only to either be completely disappointed, or not completely satisfied. There was always something missing... either the broth was too watery, or it was too oily and filled with the taste of chili. The beef noodles here strike a great balance and they are very generous with the servings and the meat. The noodles also have a nice chewy texture without being overly glutenous in feeling, and go very well. Overall I am a fan, and if I ever feel like Taiwanese beef noodles I will no longer feel like I have to settle for something I am less than satisfied with. Truly a great find! read more

I stopped by late at night to try the beef noodle soup. They were closing but they were nice enough to seat me and take my order. I wanted tendon but they had run out. The place was still packed so I figure it would be a while before I would see my noodles. I was right. It took about 10 minutes to receive my order but it was worth it. The noodles were cooked just right, the broth was very rich and clean, tasted like homemade, and the baby bok choy was fresh and cooked just right, slightly crunchy. The beef, well, there was too much beef. I would have preferred more bok choy. The beef was thick and lean. It's healthier, but I prefer unhealthier fatty thinner juicier marbled portions without the fat trimmed off. I would definitely come again. read more
