There's a parking lot behind the shop. Restaurant has fair number of tables close together, but not good for large groups. They're known for their Beef Noodle Soup, $20. Large chunks of beef which were pretty soft. The broth was tasty. A little spicy for our kids. Sadly, the Vegetable cold noodles was literally just noodles, sliced cucumbers and sauces on the side. See photo. VERY overpriced for $16. Would not order it again.

We came because of their latest post pop up about how good their food are. Lets say I dont think I will be back again. Beef stew itself did cooked amazingly soft. But thats all there is. Not sure about Michelin stars level. The soup based is too plain. We order original the spicy and a mild ($20 each). And we ordered the sesame noodles ($16) just sesame and noodles not sure how this can be at $16. Their side dishes in to-go small container range $14-$18 (way over priced). We went in 6 people of course there was a wait which is fine but 2 sesame noodles and 3 beef stew noodles for over $120 not sure if i will return. I prefer PP pop in monterey park or same owner Mr Dragon noodles on valley San Gabriel over this.

The Good: The beef noodles are absolutely delicious. Large chunks of tender beef shank with fresh spinach, hearty helping of green onion and noodles in mouth numbing soup with just the right amount of spice. The Bad: Crowded, limited hours, cash/zelle only, pricey. Hole in the wall ambiance. Limited/street parking. Is it worth it? Only if you happen to be in the area or live local. Otherwise, I would not drive all the way just to eat here. The food is the strongest selling point. That, and bragging rights.

I've heard great things about this spot serving authentic Taiwanese beef noodles in Temple City, but it's extremely difficult to find time in our schedules, as they're only open 6 days a week, from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Just a heads-up: they only accept cash or Zelle. We ordered two dishes to share - the #1 Sesame Sauce Dry Noodles ($15.00) and the #5 Beef Stew Soup Noodles ($19.00). Both were excellent! From a value perspective, the Beef Stew Soup Noodles offered more for your money with a generous portion of beef, soup, and noodles, while the Sesame Sauce Dry Noodles felt a bit pricey for the portion size. We recently tried a similar dish at another well-known Taiwanese restaurant in DTLA, but we preferred Dai Ho's creamy sesame flavor. The Beef Stew Soup Noodles were cooked perfectly - the noodles were bouncy, and the broth was fragrant, spicy, and not overly oily. My wife, who is Chinese and lived in Taiwan, says they're authentic, but not as good as the ones in Taiwan, but better than anything we've had here. We will definitely be back the next time we are craving authentic Taiwanese noodles!

The best beef noodle soup in the SGV! I've heard about this place for a while but it wasn't the most convenient to go with their hours. Well I'm glad I finally tried it. The noodles were the perfect size and chewiness. The broth was beefy, slightly spicy, and perfectly seasoned without being too soy sauce heavy or herb/anise heavy. The meat was so tender and not dry at all. Literally no notes, perfect beef noodle soup in every aspect. So hearty and comforting.

Craving Taiwan Flavor and Noodles? Dai Ho specializes in comfort food and taste so good. My family loves this place for reliable taste. Ordered the following: 1. Dan Dan Noodles (Peanut Sauce) extra spicy **** 2. Vegetal Dry Cold Noodles **** 3. Chicken Noodle Soup

Dai Ho is a family run restaurant in the heart of Temple City. They have amazing noodle dishes, you can't go wrong with anything you order there. My go to dish is the Taiwanese beef noodle soup. It's the perfect portion size and the broth is so rich and delicious. They close as soon as they are out of food for the day. The service is great too, they are very quick with their orders and the staff are very friendly. I recommend this place for anyone looking for some comfort food.

It's been a while since we've been back here. While the atmosphere and food pretty much remained the same, my overall enjoyment of the experience has declined. I think with so many other choices for Taiwanese noodles nowadays, I no longer find the food here all that special. I've outgrown it. 3.5 stars.

Came on a Saturday afternoon at around noon and the restaurant was packed! The wait wasn't long and we were seated promptly. Ambiance is definitely on the more casual end. Service was attentive. Heads up: restaurant only takes Zelle/cash and is only open from 11:30AM-2PM. 1. Beef stew noodle soup- rich, bold and flavorful broth. Beef was also very tender and fresh. Definitely a comforting, satisfying bowl- but slightly on the pricey side for what it is. Parking can be a bit difficult with the small lot in the back but you can definitely find street parking in the front.

All the noodle dishes were yummy. The owner recommended the pork shank that she simmered for over 3-4 hours, and it was delicious. The owner walked about the tables and talked to the regulars. It felt like having a meal at a relative's home. I'd recommend going right about the time they open to avoid waiting in line

This restaurant is alright. The Taiwanese beef noodle soup is solid but nothing that will knock your socks off or make you want to make the nearly 50 min drive from Hollywood to Temple City. Honestly, they may be running off the fame that came with being recognized in the Michelin food guide but have slipped in their quality since then? I'm not sure. My family came here at about 12:30 on a Friday afternoon. The small parking lot was filled up but there was plenty of street parking on Las Tunas. I was thinking the inside was going to be packed like the parking lot but there were plenty of tables available. We all order their signature beef noodle soup. Like I said, it was solid but nothing spectacular. Honestly, I think the beef noodle soup restaurant in the international terminal of the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport was tastier. I think what I was expecting was a stronger star anise flavor in the beef and broth but it was lacking. It did have a nice spiciness at the mild level so if you request for spicy be ready to bring some tissue paper for your nose.

Delicious beef noodle soup! Staff were friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. The place can get popular and it's not a large building, so plan accordingly. No credit cards, just cash or Zelle.

One of the best dry meat noodles in the area. It is on the pricey side, especially if you add side dishes, but the flavor makes it worth trying at least once. The interior is quite small, and their limited hours make it a bit challenging to dine here. There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant.

I'm sure they also know English and Mandarin as well. We came for their dinner special on a weekday. Their special menu had two different tiers of food prices - $10.99 and $12.99. The specials usually come with a soup and a rice as well, but the soup was sold out by dinner time. We ordered Chicken and Corn over Rice, Stir-Fried Fish Filet with Black Bean Sauce, Beef Chow Fun with Soy Sauce, Grilled Lemon Grass Pork Chop. Whenever I come to these type of restaurants, I usually order the same type of items. The chicken and corn over rice at this restaurant was just OK. It was typical and nothing special, but I still enjoyed it. The Stir-Fried Fish Filet was good and went well with the white rice. The beef Chow Fun is standard and the same as everywhere else. Can't go wrong with this staple. The one you dish that we did try was the grilled lemongrass pork chop. We don't usually order this but decided to give it a try this time. It was decent but more on the savory side. Overall, we were glad to find a restaurant with dinner specials. Given the price point and the standard types of Hong Kong styled food that were offered, I think we would return to try their other items on the special menu.

It's located on Baldwin Ave at the LAF Plaza in Arcadia (there used to be a Burlington there). We had a party of 8, so we ordered quite a few dishes: stir-fried string beans in garlic sauce, French-style deep-fried fish with basil and black pepper, shredded free-range chicken, water spinach with spicy bean curd sauce, sweet and sour spare ribs, spicy eggplant with minced pork in a clay pot, and crispy beef stew served with curry sauce. The first few dishes arrived quickly, and every dish was flavorful and delicious. We especially liked the string beans and the water spinach. The French-style deep-fried fish with basil and black pepper was addictive, and surprisingly it wasn't spicy at all. The shredded free-range chicken tasted fresh, while the eggplant with minced pork clay pot was just okay. The last two dishes took quite a while to arrive after we had already finished most of our meal. The sweet and sour spare ribs flavor was on point. However, we had to check on our final dish several times because we waited more than 30 minutes for the crispy beef stew with curry sauce. The restaurant was extremely busy that night, so they may have forgotten the order. Thankfully, the dish was unique and tasted really good once it arrived. Food: 4.5/5 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 3.5/5 Overall, they still deserve 4 stars.

The broth was rich and flavorful without being too salty or spicy. Wish there were more chunks of beef shank and tendon but not a big deal! Really enjoyed how the beef tendon was very tender and not too fatty. However, the beef shank was a bit too dry and rough in texture for my preference. Overall, I enjoyed the noodles and the broth, as well as the beef tendon! The Signature Beef Noodle Soup ($15.50) was good. Really enjoyed the noodles since I got knife cut so it was very fresh and chewy! Definitely recommend their knife cut noodles! The broth was slightly too salty and I wasn't a big fan of the broth because it tasted a bit minty due to some of the herbs and spices used perhaps? I didn't like the beef since it was too dry and rough but I still ate it all because I don't like wasting food. Ambiance alone inside is reminiscent of hanging out at boba shops growing up in the SGV: bright interior, booths and board games, Pokemon and Shrek playing on the TV such a nice vibe to chill with some friends and chat. Most shops nowadays are grab and go so this felt very nostalgic for me. Now for the real hitters: I still am unable to understand how they can serve this food at this price. Beef Wang (16.48) is one of their signature dishes. It sounds really simple on paper, stir fried meat, mushroom, and egg. That's it. I am still wondering how they were able to get such a flavorful bowl from a simple dish and on a perfectly cooked bed of way too much rice so you can enjoy leftovers at home. Super Sea Nachos (35): Our party of 5 ordered our own bowls and shared this thinning it was going to be a simple appetizer. The avocado alone we joked shoulda been 35 . An assembly of tuna, shrimp, imitation crab, with wonton nachos was the perfect fresh accompaniment with the rice bowl. They do not skimp at all on the nachos or seafood and no doubt I'd share another tray with friends another day. They are not the most extravagant dishes, but honestly the quality, comfort, ambience, and value makes this one of my favorite sit down experiences recently.
