Old school vibes. The musics sways to Sinatra. Very friendly service. Complementary valet parking (although not necessary on the Sunday night we went. Started with the beef carpaccio, tuna crudo and heirloom tomato and grilled peaches. All were excellent but if I had to pick one it would be the tuna crudo. Had the dry aged bone-in strip and ribeye which were also excellent and cooked to temperature properly. Of note they're dry aged for 60 days. The Mac and cheese were delightful. The only thing I wouldn't order again would be the mushrooms as they were quite bland. The lemon crème brûlée was torched tableside and was outstanding. So was the banana cheesecake. Had a delightful time and would say this is my favorite steakhouse in the Orlando area.

Got a seat at the bar on a random Thursday around 6:30. Ordered the boneless ribeye and crispy Brussel sprouts. Everything was . Ribeye was cooked perfect. Bartenders were great and cool to chat with. Winter Park area is a nice relaxing vibe. Looking forward to going back.

Great staff, we had a great night out. Bartender made great martinis! All our food was very good! What stood out was the bread service! The place was very nice to impress a date. It is expensive but no different than other chop houses. Desserts were good but I couldn't eat anymore.

Service was great! They provided top notch food recommendations, especially since it was a girls night out and we just wanted to split a bottle of wine and share some plates! Ambiance is very moody and perfect for a date night or GNO!! I'm still dreaming about their bread service

Awesome service, awesome food, and the perfect date night spot! The menu consists of a great deal of options for everyone. My wife surprised me for my birthday and I'm glad we celebrated here!

I didn't plan on falling in love with this super expensive steakhouse (I mean it is really expensive in my opinion and their whole menu is a la carte so no sides are included with your steak.. definitely scared my wallet at first), but here we are... defying the odds. After reading some reviews, I will say this, don't go to a steakhouse if you don't plan on eating a steak. The cocktails were superb! The bread service bread was so soft and delicious (I just wish they had herb butter paired with it). Our beef tartare didn't just arrive; it made a dramatic entrance in a cloud of smoke. My filet was the standout of the night for sure...a TRUE medium rare that would make a steak purist shed a tear. Every suggestion from the lively staff was spot on, from cocktails to appetizers to sauces that pair well with our cuts. Our maple bourbon creme brûlée was fantastic and also torched in front of us by our waiter, Daniel! And then you find out the executive chef used to work at Bern's Steak House? Suddenly it all makes sense. The modern decor and delicious menu items will has me wanting to come back for more, but the price point will only have me coming back for special occasions ;)

Outstanding Food - the price point is really high in my opinion but for a special occasion it is worth it especially with the location and the beautiful environment. Perfect date spot to celebrate a special occasion. The staff is very attentive and helpful when it comes to finding what you like.

First - really great service. We sat at the bar and the bartender was fantastic. Very attentive and friendly. Came in at the end of their social hour so it wasn't too busy. Ordered a couple of things to split and try. Will go back just for the bread service. Delicious! Great for a date or casual business meeting.

I enjoyed the "feel" of the place. It felt like somewhere I'd want to go again. We showed up about 9ish on a Saturday without reservation. The restaurant was full and no tables available but the bar had seats with a full menu. We were able to also put our name on the waitlist and got called within the amount of time we were told. Bartenders were nice and welcoming. Our server at our table was also very nice. Prices are on par for what you'd find a steak/chop house. That means you can expect a bill on the higher end. The drinks were generally good. However I feel like the Evolution was better in theory than in practice. The mango flavor was lighter than I'd like. Which could be fine if you prefer more alcohol forward drinks. A cut above taste like other classic cocktails (manhattan, old fashioned). Good, not great. As for the food: Scallops- very good. Asparagus - not my favorite, a little too firm for my liking. Shrimp cocktail - will always be a 10 for me regardless how simple , cocktail sauce seemed to be made in house Steak - in the same realm as a steak from Kres. So, how you feel about that will inform how you might feel. To me, just ok (definitely try it for yourself). Next time I'll go lamb which I love at Kres and see how it compares. Pommes Puree - simple, not my preference, but not bad In all, I enjoyed the experience. I'll be back I would give it a 4.2-4.5 but since I can't, I'll give it a 5.

I came in for brunch with my friends to celebrate finishing the OUC half marathon and had an amazing experience. The service was truly incredible. They were very accommodating when we had a last minute extra person join our party of 6. The restaurant is gorgeous and well decorated for Christmas. It was relaxing and sophisticated. To drink, I got the Bloody Mary. It was delicious and the blue cheese olives were perfection. I also got at cardamom bun from the pastry cart. It was served warm and had a lovely spice to it. I liked that it wasn't too sweet. The pastries were large and we loved being able to share them. I also got a cappuccino with my pastry and it was delicious. For my entree, I got the burger with waffle fries. The sauce on the burger was divine. Thick, mustardy, and tart. I could bath in that sauce. The fries were crisp, hot, and well seasoned. My friends got the steak and eggs, French toast, and French omelette and they all loved their experience as well. We will definitely be back again!

Bread and carpaccio. The best things of the night!
    Vincent L.

My overall experience was pretty good but like others have said the food here is just ok. The best things we had were the carpaccio, the waffle fries and the bread service. The main entrees were just ok. I had the braised short rib and it was bland. It was also a bit tough to cut through, not as tender as it should be. Usually with braised short ribs (if done properly) all you need is a fork. I still had to use a knife! I can say however their cosmo was perfect! One of the best I've had and I've had many! Final thing I'll mention is that I think it's a little odd that the chef prefers tables order everything at once. (This was communicated by our waiter) I understand it's a timing thing but I've NEVER in my life been told that at a restaurant. If a chef can't manage orders at different times...how can they operate? One and done for me. Hopefully this place will last.

Turned a rip age this year and figured it was worth celebrating with a good group of friends at a swanky spot. This place did not disappoint! Prep your wallet and come with an empty stomach because helpings are large and well... the prices are rightfully sized too. I ordered a huge 16oz prime ribeye which I couldn't finish, took home and made steak and eggs the next day. Service took a little bit but honestly it was slammed for a Thursday so understandable. Our servers dropped off an extra appetizer "by accident" but maybe they knew the entrees would take a bit haha One of those days where you're just happy a new business in Orlando is thriving. Winter park was missing something we didn't know, at least up until now!

First of all, the ambiance is lovely. I went with a couple friends. We had a reservation, we were seated quickly. We got bread service--- amazing. One of the team members, said don't fight over the last piece of bread... spot on bc it was that good. Our server made good recommendations. I had oysters for appetizer, I slurped it up so fast and forgot to take a photo-- it was great. For my entree I had the lamb (medium rare) but seem to be more rare, which is not a complaint :) AMAZING. I had the Ernesto, lovely cocktail. It gets busy, and I could tell our server was busy, but always pleasant. It's great place for friends or date night.

I was unable to make a reservation for this night, but walked in and was seated at the bar immediately. There are two hostess stands at this location. The first stand is at the door next to the Valet Parking stand and is for confirmed reservation seating. You are directed to walk further down the hallway towards the bar area for another separate hostess stand for walk-ins. We were seated at a nice two-top table close to the brewery room. (Note: we noticed a separate table inside the brewery which appeared to accommodate a small group and most likely requires a reservation to be seated there.) Kelly was our server and she was efficient, fun and very knowledgeable of the menu. She answered all of our questions, including explaining the ingredients of some of our selections. Our drink selections consisted of the frozen Getaway Car (vodka, sour cherry and maraschino liqueur) and the Woe Is Me martini (herb-infused Grey Goose with a pickled cherry tomato). The tomato made this martini stand out! The presentation of both drinks was memorable as was the taste of each. For our appetizers, we shared the Gatherer Salad (a zesty combination of baby greens, avocado, pickled beets, radish, goat, cheese and walnut granola with a herb vinaigrette dressing-outstanding!) and the Mushroom and Gruyère Beignets, set off by the pecorino cheese and the truffle aioli sauce. We easily could've had a second round of the beignets, but decided to go ahead and order our second course. For the second course, we shared the Pan Seared Redfish with summer vegetables, and the Steak Frites. The fish was delicate, light and the fennel broth made this dish a winner. The Steak Frites consisted of rubbed prime flat iron steak, garlic aïoli and bordelaise sauce-SO GOOD! The truffle fries were plentiful and, when combined with the sauce, resulted in a perfect accompaniment to this meal. For the final course, we shared the Black Forest Cake and the Peaches & Cream (caramelized puff pastry with peach jam, and mascarpone custard). Both desserts were the explanation points of the evening. At the end of the night, we told Kelly that we loved the combination of the "naughty and nice" pairings for this magical dining experience. (For example, the beignets and the salad, plus the redfish and the steak, allow you to both eat healthy and eat decadent.) A final shout out to the General Manager, Scott, who gave me an excellent tour of the outside beer garden (not occupied due to the rain that evening) and the major beer brewery facility next to it. TV screens are available in the garden, and would be an excellent party place for watching football this Fall. I think I have my next visit to The Ravenous Pig planned in the coming weeks. Great service and great food made this easily a 5-star evening.

The steak frites are just as magnificent as my boyfriend and I remembered. Have you ever had a food memory? Years ago, my dad made the best steak I've ever had. He passed away when I was a kid, and two summers ago, when I took my first bite of the steak here, my mouth watered... but so did my eyes. It was one of the strangest, most beautiful experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. For a moment, it felt like Dad was sitting at the table with us. To taste something so familiar, something I hadn't experienced in over twenty years, was surreal. That's not a compliment I hand out lightly. So we each had that For this visit, we started with the rock shrimp tacos, and they absolutely did not disappoint. They packed a nice little kick without overwhelming the dish, and we practically inhaled them. Of course, we had to finish the meal the same way we did last time: with churros. Somehow they were even better than we remembered. Crispy, warm, perfectly sweet, exactly the kind of dessert that makes you argue over who gets the last bite. My boyfriend ordered two Old Fashioneds, and I had two Cosmos. Both were delicious and definitely generous on the pour. I was a little concerned when we arrived for our 8:00 p.m. reservation because the place was PACKED for a Thursday night. We ended up waiting a bit past our reservation time. The hostess suggested we grab a drink at the bar, but that area was just as crowded, so we hung out in the lobby instead. The wait ended up being completely worth it because we were seated at the exact table I was secretly hoping for: the most perfect little corner window booth, straight out of a movie scene. It was the ideal setting for our last night of vacation. And then there was our server, Anton. Anton could teach a master class on waiting tables. He was efficient, funny, attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what he was doing. In a world where great service sometimes feels like a lost art, Anton was an absolute delight. The Ravenous Pig delivered once again: phenomenal food, excellent cocktails, memorable service, and one of those meals you'll still be talking about long after you've gone home. We can't wait for our next trip to Orlando and our next visit back.

Definitely order MORE of the wontons- those are a 5-star starter. I ordered the Crab Benny for my meal and my friends ordered the Steak and Eggs, the braised tacos, and the knife and fork breakfast sandwich. My dish was the perfect portion and quite filling without feeling super heavy. My friend's braised pork tacos with the street corn were perfect. My other girlfriend's order, the breakfast sandwich, was a generous plate and brimming with flavor. However, the steak and eggs entrees fell flat for my other 2 friends. One ordered her steak medium and the meat was overcooked. The other ordered medium rare, and while it certainly looked like it, the steak was entirely too tough to enjoy. I also noticed that the breakfast potatoes were a little hard. We shared our disappointment with Matthew and he did his very best to accommodate us and correct the error. The customer service was amazing, I was very pleased with how they handled the feedback, especially after they comped the two steak meals and took the time to take our critiques seriously. Where the steaks fell flat, our server Matthew and the manager, Alexis, saved the day! Despite that mishap, the entire experience was extremely pleasant and I look forward to returning and giving another entree a shot.

We ordered the Bacon Wrapped Dates (serving of three), the Burrata (a combination of cheese, basil pesto, tomatoes and balsamic dijon vinaigrette on wood grilled ciabatta bread), the Tuna Crudo (seared ahi tuna with cucumbers, pineapple and cilantro) and a board consisting of Spanish style salame and aged Gouda cheese. The board also had roasted almonds and honeycomb, along with the bread. As the night continued, we ordered another bottle of the Pinot Noir and a second helping of the fantastic Burrata. We appreciated the fact that we were not rushed from our table as we were allowed to have a relaxing and enjoyable evening of great conversation. At the end of the night, Emily provided us with a slice of olive oil citrus cake on the house. (What a thoughtful touch!) It was a heavenly ending to the evening and went well with our wine selection. If you are ever at this Winter Park location, I highly recommend you request Emily B.'s section if you are able to do so. As stated above, she made our evening. Thank you, Emily B!

It's decorated with lots of plants and flowers, which makes it stand out. Once you walk inside, the ambiance is very relaxed with a nice country-style vibe. If you're planning to come here, I definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time. We had to wait for our table, so it's better to plan ahead. As far as the food, I ordered something that was okay, but honestly, it didn't really blow my mind. The people I was with ordered the chicken sandwich and tomato soup, and they really enjoyed those. Unfortunately, the service was the biggest issue during our visit. I would give the service 2 stars out of 5. It took a very long time for our waitress to come over and take our order. There were also several issues with the drinks. She brought mine but forgot the rest of the party. Later, she brought one more and then forgot another one. She seemed to be all over the place, and eventually we had to ask someone else for one of my kids' drinks. When she finally came back, she explained that they were out of some of the items we had ordered, so one person in our party couldn't get what they originally wanted. After we placed the new order, it also took quite some time for the food to come out. We were there around lunchtime, so I was surprised that the service was moving so slowly. One thing to know is that they currently only have one menu for brunch and dinner which would be helpful for checking the options ahead of time. On the bright side, they do have happy hour, which is always a plus. Overall, I really liked the atmosphere and the location, but the service definitely needs some improvement. This location is right on Park Avenue in Winter Park, so it's a nice area to visit and walk around afterward.

The shrimp were HUGE and somehow still perfectly tender, which was impressive for shrimp that size. Everything was delicious, beautifully crafted and you can tell a lot of thought goes into each dish. The chicken meatballs were another favorite. The tableside avocado toast was such a fun touch and Eric did a great job putting it together right at the table. They started us off with a complimentary pour of champagne for our birthdays and surprised us with macarons at the end. Such a nice way to make the celebration feel special. Our server Lillian was kind, attentive and took great care of us. Really enjoyed the food, cocktails, atmosphere and all the little details. Definitely a brunch worth checking out and somewhere we'll be back to!

In the evening it is a bit dark and I prefer a litle more light when eating. We started with the lions mane mushrooms and the lobster flatbread. The mushrooms were nice and hot while a little sweet. The lobster flatbread was crispy and tasty but a little cold. For drinks and cocktails they have a nice interesting list of selections. We had an espresso martini, a drink called positive affect and very interesting cloudstar. The drinks were beautiful and delicious. The descriptions on the menu are very inviting. Positive affect included vodka, cumber, basil, and citrus that was refreshing and a beautiful green color. The cloudstar sounds like it would be really sweet but it was not and was a very good drink. This had a lot going on but mixed together well which included vanilla, banana liqueur, proseco, and you pour passion fruit juice over cotton candy. Dylan our server was very attentive and kind. Entrees were a burger with these huge crispy fries, roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and I think they forgot to add the spinach. We also had the rack of lamb that was flavorful, tender and plated well. The meal presentations were very good. Some of our food could have been served a little hotter. Moving onto desserts we had the butterscotch creme brulee and the chocolate decadence that was like a torte with a very good berry sauce. Both desserts were very good! It was a good evening. I could not finish the rake of lamb so bonus I have lunch for tomorrow.

Great service and great food!…read more My friends and I dined in here to celebrate my friends belated birthday. We made a reservation and got seated in a large booth inside. I ordered a cucumber rain martini and once I received it, I noticed the glass had a chip around the edge, potentially causing glass shards in the cocktail, so I informed my server and she had the bar make me a new cocktail in a new glass. I built my own turkey burger on a lettuce wrap and paired it with sweet potato fries. The turkey burger wasn't too dry, and I paired it with honey mustard. Our server was very sweet and personable and we enjoyed her service! Loved this experience. The parking in this plaza is always a nightmare with how many business there are in the area, but we snagged a parking spot behind the regal!

I tried the truffle fries with my order but felt that the plain fries would have been a good choice as well. The service was excellent and the location has a lot of windows with natural light as well as outdoor seating. Definitely would go back and have another.

The chicken nachos and chorizo queso were great starters. I ordered the Ginger margarita based on the raving reviews by my co-workers, even though it was not a special. And, it did not disappoint! Our bartender was fantastic and kept all of our orders straight. The hostess walked us upstairs to our reserved table for 10. The view across the restaurant was grand, but lively atmosphere and the high ceilings contributed to the challenge of carrying on a conversation. I could only talk with those who were seated close by. Shane was our server for the night, engaged with us, and kept the drinks flowing. We ordered a number of Deluxe fajita platters with massive amounts of steak and chicken. Both meats were grilled and seasoned perfectly. Copious amounts of tortillas and the fajita fixins. I really enjoyed the charred jalapeño and mushrooms. I ordered the chicken Al Carbón tacos, and enjoyed the complementary flavors of the smoked onions and the salsa cremosa. With both of these great tasing dishes, I wished I had a larger stomach! NOTES Outside seating is available (for nicer weather) and there's plenty of parking. The only downside of the night? The food took a long time to get to our table.

-Magical Dining 2027-…read more I had a really nice experience at Bovine and am glad it was included on the Magical Dining list. I think it was a great value for the $60 menu option! First things first, the restaurant has a very cozy feel that is perfect for a date night or special occasion. It was warm and comfortable, with dark-colored walls and brick accents. Definitely dress for the occasion here! Secondly, the staff and service were very noteworthy. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Brian was a great server and took care of all of our questions and a couple of modifications without any issues. As far as the meal itself, I was very impressed with the lobster bisque, filet, and Italian cream cake. Those were the standouts in my eyes. If I had to make one critique, I would say the side dishes were a bit lackluster. They felt a little skimpy. I ordered the mac and cheese, which was good but not particularly memorable, and I thought the portion could have been a bit more generous. My friend ordered the mashed potatoes and echoed the same sentiment. That said, they're just side dishes and certainly not the main event! I would love to return to Bovine and hope to do so soon, especially since it sits on prime real estate in the heart of downtown Winter Park!

Believe the reviews this was my worst dining experience ever - terrible service, food isn't worth…read morethe money and safety concerns. We went this Saturday for Magical Dining and a friends birthday and didn't read the reviews prior to making reservations...big mistake. We made a reservation, when we got to the restaurant they said they were waiting for a table to leave, so we waited a little past our time, no problem there, but the table never left so they threw a chair on the end of a 4top, which is normally fine, but the chair was right behind the computer and bar the servers used so it was cramped and constant activity right behind me. Once seated it took 45 minutes, yes, 45 minutes to get water glasses...not even the water, just the glasses. Our server then took our drink order...we ordered a bottle of champagne and it took another 30 minutes to bring that to our table and they do not have any ice buckets so it was just plopped on our table. The server took our order and it took another 50 minutes to get our appetizer. He apologized and just said the kitchen was backed up. Wedge salad was small and the use of Thousand Island dressing on it threw us. While waiting we noticed a person who kept coming in and out of the restaurant...they looked like they potentially worked there, but come to find out they didn't. Earlier in the night, according to the host, they kicked this person out of the restaurant, but they allowed him to continue to come in and out of the restaurant for more than an hour. He would stand by the host stand, then go sit at a table, then walk behind me to play with the restaurants computer. This happened over and over and over and was completely unprofessional. Finally the guy walked over to a table that was occupied but the patron went to the bathroom and left his phone, this person went over and picked up the unattended phone, luckily the patron saw and a loud argument ensued between them. They kicked the guy out again but didn't call the cops, the table next to us were the ones who called the cops. This could have ended really badly and why they didn't address this earlier in the night and allowed it to continue for hours, I will never understand. It was at this time the "manager" if you can call her that came out to see what was going on, she did nothing, the table next to us complained about the wait, their dinner and their safety and when she walked past our table, I proceeded to do the same to which she told me "just try to enjoy it" and walked away. Are you serious? I was baffled. It was evident our server was overwhelmed as well as he was not attentive to our table, had our orders wrong and his attitude was frazzled but I don't blame him given what I saw that night. This place does not care about their patrons safety or their service level. The steaks came out, one of our group upgraded her steak to the 8oz filet and when it came out it looked the same as our 6oz...the server admitted it looked the same and then left the table. The food wasn't good. My steak was overdone, but I didn't sent it back cause it had already been about 2.5 hours to get it. Our meal ended up taking 3 hours and that was asking for our dessert and checks the minute our steaks came out. There are so many good steakhouses in Orlando and specifically in Winter Park that this place is not worth your time, money or your safety to go here. It's clear no one cares about providing a good experience and that comes directly from the top. There is no redeeming quality of this place, go somewhere else unless you want to feel like you're in an episode of Kitchen Nightmares.
