I hadn't been here in a while since Covid, for no reason really. Glad to come back. I love Korean Fusion food and my order of a Beef Kalbi Burger and BBQ Chicken Salad were both fantastically filling and satisfying. The portions were good and very tasty! Staff were pleasant and the interior was clean and pleasant. Prices are reasonable too. I was surprised to be the only customer eating in, Parkimg could be tight however when I was there I got a spot outside.
Delicious Korean food from a unique Korean fusion restaurant that serves traditional Korean plates like beef BBQ with rice and salad, but also Korean style tacos and burgers. The beef BBQ was flavorful and a generous portion. Fried shrimp is delicious. Strange choice of Christian music if you dine-in.
After a glowing review from Jason the Chao, we immediately set sail to Corner Grille. Such an unassuming plaza holds an incredible fusion gem which really captures the Korean American combo. The galbi sandwich on Hawaiian sweet rolls is a classic that we have all put together at some time and this menu item was a favorite. My personal favorite was the fried chicken sandwich on brioche bun, and the tacos were also delightful--we tried one of each. I would say that the fish and shrimp were decent but the other tacos were excellent! They even brought some ice cream out for us on the house--what a wonderful treat! This restaurant really embodies the valley--fusion done very well, with no pretense, in a plaza you would pass by and not even notice. We will absolutely be back, as we enjoyed every bite!!
Was quite surprised by Corner Grille. The location is kind of sketchy and from the outside it doesn't seem like much. However once I ordered I discovered this may be one of my new favorite spots in the valley. It can take a minute to get your food but the wait is definitely worth it. I've been here several times and have never been disappointed. Pretty sure I've tried half the menu at this point. There's only a few people on staff but all the food comes out piping hot and fresh as soon as it's ready. Their chicken strips are phenomenal. Very crispy and good flavor. The Loaded fries are also a MUST have with the beef on top. Just utterly delicious. This is a meal in itself. I've also tried the wings, Tacos, Kalbi Beef Burger, Chicken Teriyaki, and Xango. All of them where just outstanding. The staff has always been very nice and helpful as well. I highly recommend.
I wish we had taken pictures before devouring everything, but that just shows how good it was! We ordered the beef tacos, which were packed with flavor and loaded to perfection. We also tried the medium spice chicken plate with salad and rice, the spice level was just right, and every bite was absolutely delicious. For dessert, we got the macarons, and they even surprised us with an extra flavor to try, such a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. Service was excellent, truly 10/10. The young lady who helped us was friendly, attentive, and walked us through the menu since it was our first visit. The food came out quickly, hot, and delicious. This experience definitely turned us into loyal customers, we can't wait to come back!
On 5/19 I visited the restaurant to get lunch for my overnight shift. I've always passed the restaurant and wanted to try it based on the reviews and pictures of the food. I went in to order 10 piece wings, which after tax was $18+. Overpriced and I should have walked out but ordered anyway since my time was limited. The large boards, bragging about their excellent reviews additional lead to me staying. While still waiting for my food, I ordered a Western Hamburger also know the wings would not be enough. So the pictures and videos are below. I wasn't going to bother with a review but after talking with a person the next day saying that the wings are normally cooked burnt, it was my duty to let you know to not order the wings. Go to 7/11 where they are bigger and taste better. Also burnt was the onion ring in the burger. I grade this restaurant a D for poor execution and lack of accountability. These wings went to the stray cats at work. At least they enjoyed my money. Will never go there again after no compensation for a disappointing experience. The last picture is what I thought I was buying off the menu. $26 total for a terrible meal. The ambiance was empty as only 1 person was in the restaurant and 1 person waiting for take out.
A small hole-in-the-wall spot tucked into a strip mall--not in the best part of town and with limited parking. The setup is modest, with plastic utensils and a no-frills dining area, just a step above fast food. That said, the food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the service is warm and friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you care more about flavor than ambiance. A suggestion is to remove the award winning signs from many years ago. It makes one think "what happened that they're no longer winning any awards". One can also assume, they're up only to hide what goes on in the kitchen as the separation between kitchen and dining area is a glass wall.
Amazing Burger!!! I ordered the Hungry Boy Burger & it was delicious! Every single bite was amazing! Loved the grilled Hawaiian rolls, the spicy beef made the burger more dynamic & bursting with flavor, bacon was great quality & plenty of it, the special sauce went perfectly with the burger. Overall great experience & excellent Burger!
Came here for lunch again! Once again, they were nice enough to give us some free potstickers they were just as delicious as the first time. Place was a little quieter this time it was during the weekday so maybe it was just a little slower this day. But the food was still incredible. My husband ordered the kalbi beef ribs and I ordered the spicy beef bulgogi and salad with a side of rice. I actually love their salad. It is so good and the dressing that they give you is delicious. OK so next visit I definitely need to tell them just to make it regular because when they say spicy even though I picked just a small spice level or I believe it was medium it was really spicy. I couldn't eat it so I ended up giving half of it to my husband and taking half of it to go. My husband loved the ribs though they were absolutely delicious if you'd like spicy I recommend getting these and making the spice level high on them. And once again, we had a great visit. Definitely a good spot to grab a quick bite. Highly recommend giving them a shot. Thanks for another incredible visit corner Grill.
Really great food! I got the bbq beef and I really like how they give you options for different spice levels. It was a good level of crispiness, flavor, and spice. The beef was still really tender too and didn't feel too salty. The portions were solid for the price and was a really filling meal.
Food is amazing here. It's a tiny whole on the wall place but anything you order on the menu is a hit. Service is good when I have been there,but I normally just order out. It is pretty dark in there and looks a little dirty as far as tables. Maybe they are unable to get to it at times but it's the reason why I tend to just order out. If you haven't already, you should def check this place out. Normally get the bbq plate, jalapeño bombs and the tacos. Fire. read more

We just happened to stop by this place as we were looking for something quick for lunch. We actually stumbled upon this wonder Korean fusion restaurant. I ending up getting the Korean Tacos, (1 of each; Chicken, Beef, Fish, Shrimp). They were delicious and fresh. There are other dishes I'll have to come back and try, like the Korean BBQ Fries, or Crispy Chicken. They are known for their Kalbi burger. Their dining room is small and cozy, and the staff is friendly. One was even singing to Whitney Houston while it was playing inside the restaurant :) Anyways, please stop by and try their food. You'll be full, and who knows, you might be entertained by the staff's singing abilities. read more

The food looked great and tasted fantastic. The service was friendly and helpful. I got free dumplings as I waited for my lunch. The bbq chicken had great flavor and some spice. Ordered the medium spice that had a good spice to it. Will come back again. read more

Meh, the price reels you in but the quality is lacking . Also they don't respond to you, I wait to order for a while and they acted like we didn't even exist. For future reference you have to order on a screen to the right, it would have been nice if they had mentioned it. Do better read more
WW that was sooooo amazing! Of course first thing I do is check the ratings on Yelp to see how many stars there are (has to be above 4 for me to eat there) and this place deserves the 5 full not just 4.7. I gotta say we were just driving by and wanted a yummy burger to kill. This place doesn't have the most appealing look. The sign is simple and seems old style and I can't say the inside was great looking but the kitchen was clean from the counter. As soon as those fries hit the table we devoured it. We had the Kalbi Fries ( mixed chicken and beef) He next thing you know the kalbi fries came and a few minutes later (hungry boy) came. All of which were absolutely amazing. Oh my we are so glad we gave corner grille a try! Doordashed it and it STILL was so good!!! Sometimes delivery will bot do the food justice but, this one did!!!! FOOD: - Hungry boy sandwich was amazing! Burger with Bulgogi beef. Fried egg, bacon, cheese, special sauce. Omg so good! Flavorful, the bulgogi was to die for! -Seasoned fries, excellent! Even as a to go order the fries were great! Be sure to add their sauces, all good for $.50 -Bulgogi loaded fries....soooo good! Flavorful, loaded and filling -Bulgogi Tacos were so good!!! My friend could not stop saying yum -They also offer aloe drinks which is awesome -Creme Brulee macaron was so good!!! However, $1.75 for a 2 bite macaron was a little harsh. Alot smaller than I thought Food was all 10/10!!! Since this was a take out/delivery order I am not able to comment on the actual restaurant. But we will Definitely be back! I'm sorry but this place was very disappointing. I couldn't wait to try out the Korean fusion. But it's not worth the try, sadly. The shrimp is literally just fried shrimp there is no flavor or seasoning to them. Comes with white rice- which was great lol and the cabbage and dressing. The end. Very bland. The Korean chicken taco was actually good! This has flavor and it was juicy. So that was nice. The sad kalbi burger!! It was so dry, lacks flavor, needed some type of sauce or needed to add an ingredient to spruce it up. Again the same cabbage and I believe the same "salad" dressing was lightly used in the burger. And the fries are just fries, supposed to be seasoned but they are just bland as well. I know they had many great awards in 2017-2019 but in 2023 it's not hitting. So if you want some Korean fusion food. I wouldn't recommend. read more

I love chili cheese and I felt like having a chili cheese burger here. The menu has something for everyone as it is so big. They have Korean fusion food and my burger was delicious. I loved the chili here, so good. I also had the Korean BBQ fries; the fries are skinny, but the toppings on it were good. I will be back and have to try other items on the menu. read more

Saw this place on my feed while I was scrolling. What caught my attention was the kbbq fries! I decided to order the kbbq fries, Hungry boy burger, & the beef taco. It was very fast & easy to order since you use a tablet. As for the food all 3 were amazing! They were so delicious and were a great portion for the price. Definitely gotta check this place out! It was my first time and I'm so glad I stopped by. I can finally add a new place onto my list. read more

I can always eat Korean BBQ - and fries are one of my weaknesses, so I had try the Korean BBQ fries! I also got the famous Kalbi burger with fresh jalapeño slices, and the crazy boy that comes with cream cheese. WOW!! Everything was on point, and so flavorful!! Great prices, the portions are big, they have a big variety of drinks from Gatorade to Arizona iced teas, and the employees as well as the owner are very nice! You will definitely want to share because it's super filling! 1 order of the K bbq fries is good for 2, or you can always save the 2nd half for later ;) We ordered takeout so I asked them to make my fries crispy that way they didn't end up soggy on the way home - they were still delicious! Small downfall was the parking lot, spots are extremely tight so be prepared. read more
So I was in the area for a photo shoot and was craving some Korean food, found this spot on Yelp! The place in in the corner of a small plaza and parking might be a little hard to find when all the businesses are open. I definitely wanted to make sure that we try bunch of different dishes since I don't know when we'll be in the area again. We ordered the Roscoe burger, 4 Taco Special, Chicken BBQ and the Kalbi burger. The wait was about 20 minutes since they had a good amount of customers but I have to say it was definitely worth the wait. All the dishes were made from fresh ingredients and had good flavors. My favorite was definitely the Kalbi Burger on Hawaiian bread since the balance seemed perfect and all the ingredients really worked well with each other in the burger. Overall, a great experience and I highly recommend this spot! read more

Ordered up some burgers 4) Kalbi beef burgers on Hawaiian bread 2) old boy burgers 1) fries with bulgogi beef (Thin fries) Theses item on the menu are the best! They are fast and hot, great service while placing order for pick up! Parking is the hardest to find in this plaza, most of the time have to park across the street. What an unexpected, delicious surprise!!! We had their Kalbi beef burger, Hungry Boy burger, seasons fries and their chicken taco- all were great! This was a Postmates order.... and I don't think I had all my toppings on my Hungry Boy, which was a bummer, but it was still really good. Can't be too upset since it's Postmates. Buttttt That was the one star their missing. We will order again and see if they can get that final star. read more

Been wanting to come here for awhile and the food met my expectations. As someone who regularly eats Korean food, it was exactly as I expected: delicious Korean flavors paired with carbs like Hawaiian rolls and fries. I tried the kalbi burger and the korean bbq fries and both were great. However, I feel like you can't really compare these with American style burgers and fries because they're very different. Of the asian fusion food I've tried, it was pretty good but not totally exceptional. Customer service wasn't the best. We didn't hear when the manager(?) was calling our number until another customer finally alerted us because the small store was noisy. We had also seen them take food to other people who were dining in and didn't expect to have to grab the food ourselves. When we went to the front, the manager sounded annoyed and said she had been calling our number for awhile. Overall, if you enjoy Korean flavors and want to try a different spin on classic burgers and fries, I would recommend giving it a try but don't expect great customer care. read more

Food service and ambiance is great with food being the star and the service is second to none. The setting, dining room is nice and music was a good volume. I eat here often today i tried the korean bbq fries and was happy i did. I wished the portion of meat was slighlty more but it was perfect. All the other item i have ordered are always spot on and served fresh and hot. The restroom said out of service. They let me use it to wash up but I understand its not the best area a bathroom is staple in a restaurant would have been five stars if not for that read more

After eating here I found out This place was rated 2nd best taco joint on Business Insider in 2017 in the US; this was unexpectedly good! Service is buy first; seat yourself. Food isn't fast fast food which is honestly great. Flavor of tacos is perfect fusion of Korean-Mexican. The kbbq fries though are a heart attack, but yummy. The tacos special (buy 3, get 1) is $8.97, delicious and affordable. My tummy and wallet are happy. The kalbi burger was stuffed. Portions are definitely American-sized here and no complaints. Tldr; if you want damn good Korean tacos or a fusion spin on tacos, come here. read more

Unique and tasty is how I describe Corner Grille. Been a long time since returning and nearly forgot how good their Kalbi burger is. The Korean beef bbq shines through with tons of flavor and nice meaty, easy to chew bites. Complimented with delicious fresh bread and a nice crunch from the cole slaw and pickled onions. Will return when back in area for work lunch. read more
