You walk in and you immediately are greeted by a warm person at the front desk. You walk in and the place is so chic and beautifully laid out! It is small so tables are limited. You need to make reservations in advance for a table. It overlooks the track so that was entertainment for the kids. I wouldn't say it is necessarily family friendly, especially small kids, but our kids were fine dining there. They don't have a kids menu but the chef was able to make the kids some simple things they loved - pasta and cheese!! The highlight though was the Porsche shaped butter. That was THE absolute coolest thing ever. It came in a little dish with the bread. My kids and I loved it!!! It was a really nice touch to our meal. The food was really exceptional. One of the best places I've dined in a long time - even including Michelin star restaurants!! The dishes were so beautifully and delicately prepared - we had the octopus appetizer, the homemade pasta dish, the heirloom salad and Ofocurse we couldn't pass dessert! Dessert: if you are a tiramisu lover like me you MUST try the tiramisu-choux. It's a whole different take on this Italian dessert! Overall this place was absolutely INCREDIBLE. From the ambiance, to the service, to the delicious noteworthy mouthwatering food you totally need to come here. I already want to come back next time we visit !!! If you want to have an amazing dining experience, you totally need to come here!

If that doesn't get you pumped, not sure what else will! Highly recommend you make reservations way in advance. Looks like they also have a room for a small party of meeting. Note they are only open for lunch. Parking lot is huge. As you walk in, you are greeted to check in. If you are booked for an experience, you get a fun lanyard to wear. Visitors, you get a sticker, lol. The restaurant is on the second floor, so you can take the stairs or there is an elevator. You're greeted again at the host's station. We got there early so started off with a cocktail. We both tried the 917 Old Fashioned which was delicious and they sear the 917 and Porsche logo which was super fun! They start off with pretzel breads with cute butters shaped like Porsche cars! They do have a couple chairs in front of the host table as well as a bar area. Bathrooms are back towards the host area. Huge and clean! There is a viewing station as well that you can walk outside from this area to watch the track from the top and that did not disappoint. You can get seats inside right at the window and watch the experiences. So fast and loud! We had a great time!

The food was absolutely delicious as well, from the hors d'oeuvres to the salad and main course, everything was wonderful. The people here genuinely care about their guests and the community. Service was slow, but all right. The BFD cheeseburger we ordered for HH was tasty, like a larger In-N-Out burger with the Russian dressing inside. Fries were extra crispy, yet tender inside, which is the perfect fry, in my opinion. Also had a bite of the kimchee fried rice, which was pretty good, albeit a tad too oily. Overall, decent food at a historic establishment in Old Torrance. Definitely go for Happy Hour for the best deals!

The chips are homemade and he said that was the standout star. I read a review that the chips were stale. We came right at opening so they were freshly fried so maybe come earlier for fresher chips? But if you're willing to walk a bit, you can usually find a spot towards the farther end of the parking lot. We ordered the food online, and it was ready for us when we arrived. I love a good fish taco, so we decided to try a few different ones. We got some Marco Mahi Tacos that come with cabbage, tomato, cilantro, and crema. You can choose flour or house made corn tortilla. We also got the George Fish Taco that has battered Alaskan cod. Both were good, but I enjoyed it more with the salsa on top. They have a Gabe Portobello Taco which I thought was interesting! It has a battered portobello inside, which I thought was unique. I would get it again! They have a lot of fun side items. We got some Tom Yum Sidewinder Fries that have a tasty tom yum salt added to them. The salt doesn't stick to the fries the best, but you can kind of dip them back in the salt at the bottom of the container for some more of that salty tart flavor! The Potato Rings look like onion rings. They're basically a tater tot in ring form. Fun to eat, but I wish they gave a few more in the order. We also got Crispy Battered Green Beans and Fried Zucchini. Both come with ranch sauce for dipping and were pretty solid! I'll be back to try their sandwiches and pastas!

We ordered a $13.99 personal meal. My wife had the mac & cheese with a salad, and I had the combo pizza with a Caesar salad. We added two drinks for $1.99 each and shared a nutty coleslaw. I was surprised at how large the "personal size" mac & cheese was -- it was very generous. We ended up sharing the pizza, mac & cheese, and coleslaw and still had plenty of food. The meal also came with two personal-size carrot cakes, which we took home for the next day. Even sharing just one was more than enough. Everything was delicious, but the carrot cake really stood out. Super moist, full of carrots and chunks of pineapple, and topped with an amazing cream cheese frosting. The menu says it's made from scratch, and it definitely tasted homemade. Definitely recommend! **After reading some of the 3 and 1 reviews, I'm hoping to have an equally positive experience on my next visit.

The food was honestly terrible. -Mashed potatoes tasted straight out of a packet--gooey, liquidy and cheap. -Breadsticks were weirdly loaded with Parmesan and missing the usual garlic flavor. -Salad was chopped into oblivion no reason. -The tri-tip easily the worst I've ever had from Stonefire. Rubbery, badly seasoned, and felt like low-quality meat. Completely different from what they serve at other locations. -BBQ sauce was off. Way too much black pepper to the point it made me cough. It's definitely not the original sauce. This didn't feel like Stonefire. It felt like a completely different restaurant trying to pass as Stonefire. Really disappointing.

The interior is neat and clean. There are various types of seating (bar; table; booth; high-tops; communal), and plenty of screens to watch sports. On this occasion, I ordered the Tavern Fish & Chips ($22). It is described as "Alaskan cod coated in a tempura beer batter and served with French fries, tartar sauce and yuzu herb coleslaw". The positives of this dish are that it was prepared well. Both the fish and chips tasted good. The presentation was also nice; which leads to the coleslaw: The coleslaw tasted good, too; but I was surprised the serving was so spare. It's almost as if it was served just to optically balance the presentation in the basket. (See photo shared,) And while the price was not unreasonable, feel it's creeping towards expensive (relative to serving size). I'll attribute this to rising input costs. Staffing might be an issue during the lunchtime service. Service was okay, but they seemed to be understaffed. It's possible that most of their business is done after 5pm.
