The place itself is very clean and well cared for, and I love that they are helping and supporting the cats. They also offer options to donate, which I really appreciated. That said, it was a bit pricey for the amount of time you get. It's $10 for every 20 minutes, and there weren't many cats during our visit. Since there were also quite a few people allowed in at once, I didn't really get much time to pet or interact with the cats. We ordered a latte, which was a little too sweet for my taste, but still enjoyable. The café itself is cute, though it was a bit hard to find and a little far from where I live. Overall, it's a sweet place and I do recommend checking it out and supporting them, especially since they're doing a wonderful thing for the cats. I personally probably wouldn't return due to the distance and pricing, but I'm glad I went and had the experience.

From what I've seen, I'm guessing 99% of the items there are imported from Italy, not including produce- I think (to keep it fresh). I started coming here after a huge shift in my life and didn't just find amazing coffee, but a beautiful community. Also a great place to get gelato for the kids. I do not recommend staying "too" long because it's so good that it gets crowded often. On the other hand, sometimes having so many people there is kind of a beautiful thing on its own too. [Atmosphere]: There's an outdoor patio area and the interior decors include wallpaper with buildings in Italy, a shelf with Ferris cars and children's books, and pictures of Italian cars hanging on the wall. Behind the counter is a poster of the 25th anniversary of The Godfather. [Menu]: Yelp's top highlighted items are Rustico, Caprese, and Cotto. Breakfast panini is only served from open to 11 AM. The cafe also sells coffee, gelato (six different flavors), salads, affogato, and croissants (plain, cream, nutella, and apricot). I had a cup of house brewed coffee and the drink wasn't quite on the same level as other third-wave coffee shops in the South Bay. They sell coffee beans from Danesi Caffe. *** Breakfast panini (Scrambled egg, fontina cheese, tomato a avocado - $10.95): A healthy-tasting sandwich, but it probably needed more sauce to add flavor. Bread was good. Rustico (RUSTICO: 24-month aged prosciutto di Parma smoked scamorza cheese, arugula, & white truffle extra virgin olive oil - $11.95): A solid sandwich, but it definitely lacked the "it" factor. *** A solid local cafe for anyone looking for a healthy Italian panini.

Our barista, Lee, made the experience completely worth the drive. He was incredibly kind, took our order himself, and even made the drinks. What stood out most was how welcoming and excited he still was for us to try everything, even near closing time. It's honestly refreshing to come across baristas who are both informative and genuinely passionate about what they do. We tried the Earl Grey Matcha and the Dark Cherry Hojicha Tonic. Both were rich, flavorful, and really well balanced. Definitely recommend checking this café out.

No tricks, no frills. I got the Matcha Gray, and I have some thoughts. The flavors were bold, and the matcha was great quality. The drink did come with a warning that it's small (on purpose). I should've known that a drink that comes with a disclaimer is not for people like me, a casual matcha drinker. I found the 75% ice, airplane in-flight drink-sized cup leaving me thinking I ordered the wrong thing. However, with what Junia does well, they blew me away. The latte art on the hojicha latte was clean. And the ham and cheese croissant! Came with mustard and gherkins, and that was something I never knew I desired until now. Junia Cafe was memorable, though I wish they gave something out to help me remember them, like a sticker, or even a cup sleeve. A welcome addition to Gardena.

I will say, the cafe de olla is very spice forward. I taste a lot of cloves and star anise. A bit different than others I've had but I really liked it. The mex mocha was smooth and rich. I did see that their slushies are highly rated and now that it's getting hot, we'll def be back to try them! Food 10/10 They don't have food items on their menu but there are baked goods! We ordered a cream croissant looking muffin and a chocolate chip cookie. Both were warmed up and were absolutely delicious. Vibes/Ambiance : 10/10 We came on a Friday morning and it wasn't too busy. There were people working there as they have free wifi and outlets. The decor and vibe is cute! They have art on the walls, pictures, plants, community flyers/events, and statements that make you feel safe and at home. The staff is so friendly and welcoming too! There is a little parking lot right next to the shop and we didn't find it hard to find a spot. There is a park next door so I can imagine on the weekends, parking might be a bit tricker. Menu is simple with the classics (espresso, americanos, cappuccinos, and lattes) and some speciality coffees like the Ibarra Mex Mocha. Prices are pretty reasonable - especially for the quality. It was busy when I went in so wait time was about 10-15 mins after ordering. I also bought one of their syrups - not really sure how much I paid for it but maybe about $15? That was a little pricey but the taste was good too. A little heavy on the spices, but I prefer it.

The cortado was smooth and very spot on. I'd recommend it to anyone. Pastries were very delicious, muffins were full of nuts not just on top but in every bite and they come from an amazing nonprofit organization. That Bánh mì sandwich had a bread that tasted so fresh, good-quality, soft inside with the perfect crunch on the outside. Spanish latte was just okay for me; I wasn't a huge fan of the syrup they used, and it didn't have any cinnamon (not sure if I needed to ask for it). Customer service: It did take a little while to get served and get my order down but totally worth the wait. Most busy places would notice you and say, we will be with you in a minute, but here I had two girl in the back notice me and kept working on drinks and other kept cleaning, Shoutout to Ethan who was an awesome barista who saw me and had great customer service. Overall though, this place checks so many boxes we'll definitely be back.
