Redondo omelette

This place has become one of our favorite places for both of us for breakfast or brunch. This was our first visit to the Nook Breakfast Spot. Conveniently located on PCH and Narbonne this restaurant is only open until 3 PM every day serving up breakfast lunch items and brunch items. The service is fantastic the coffee is delicious. I always Judge a breakfast place by its coffee. The ambience is that of a small diner. By looking around, this seems to be a lot of regulars that come to this place. We look forward to be coming one of those regulars.

Marinated Steak Benedict with home fries - oh so good!
Francis V.

I found the Nook Breakfast Spot while looking for breakfast near me. The original place we were going to was closed so TNBS came in clutch. I ordered the marinated steak Benedict with home fries. All I can say is delicious! My sister ordered strawberry banana pancakes breakfast and she really liked it. Service was great and the prices were reasonable. They give you a lot of food so it definitely worth it. There's plenty of parking in the parking lot. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We opted to sit inside at a booth. This is a great place for a breakfast/brunch date or a place where you can take your family.

I always drive pass here... last Thursday, after getting my car serviced I decided to stop by and try their food. Great choices of food to choose on the menu. I decided to get bfast. Upon, entering the staffs are super friendly. Great service and the food is fantastic!!! I will definitely come back again, if I have time.

"fresh fruit"
Laura A.

Decided to order the "Fresh fruit" as a side and this is what was presented, decided to give the benefit of the doubt and looked through the fruit-nope it was All rotten. I can't believe both the cook and the waitress thought this was okay to serve, what a slap in the face. This place is over priced for garbage quality food.

Large breakfast!
Kaylani K.

Coming here with family was such a successful breakfast experience. The food was delicious and filling as their portions are actually large. Good for take home food! There was a slight wait upon our arrive but understandable due to them having great reviews! We patiently waited. Only reason I left one star off is due to being a little confused where to go upon arrival. I felt a little lost and wasn't sure where to check in at. We were greeted later and was able to sit and wait for our table.

Our most recent visit yesterday was a reminder of why we enjoy being patrons of this family. Warm smiles, super friendly service, quick delivery of meals. You just can't go wrong here. I suggest grabbing a bite to eat here with your loved ones

Breakfast Burrito

The service was quick and the breakfast burrito was delicious. The staff was very nice. I did go on a Friday morning, and there was no wait, and it was a calm quiet atmosphere. I would go back to try their pancakes. My son was raving about them.

Bomb Biscuit and Gravy !!

Really want like this place but after my last experience, it was kinda hard. Service is good, outdoor patios nice ,but the food was just kind of a mess. Their biscuits and gravy are the best in the biz for sure but the other stuff I ordered that day was just mid at best .. The marinade steak and eggs was good but the steak was a cheap cut and honestly it was chewy everything else we had that day was decent but nothing to write home about I'd probably give her another shot, but I wouldn't rush back

I dined here while I was in the area. I ordered the basic Popeye omelet with fruit and hash browns, which was pretty good. Hash browns were a little too well done than I normally get but overall ok. The service was good. The owner and his employees were very kind and professional. Cool atmosphere. They have outdoor and indoor seating.

Breakfast & lunch menu

Our food was fresh, hot and delicious for the most part. The only thing we were disappointed on is the 'original' eggs Benedict came with sliced ham, luncheon meat. Menu says 'Canadian bacon', so thats what we were expecting. Maybe they ran out ‍ I can say on the positive note that the hollindaise sauce was delish! Try them out for yourself, we did go on a week day and there was no waiting for a table. I've read others reviews that on weekends it's much busier. Mahalo for the great service & food

Scrambled with Turkey Sausage Patty & Coffee
Angelina C.

The food was good, I enjoyed my meal but wow, when I saw the menu I couldn't believe omelette cost $20. I ordered basic eggs & turkey sausage with potatoes and flour tortillas. And of course coffee. They were very nice, everyone had a warm vibe and when I walked in the gentleman was very welcoming. I got the impression it was a locals favorite. Everyone was very nice, not just the staff!

Egg Benedict with home potatoes. Green Chilaquiles & eggs with rice and beans
Daniel R.

Nice little sunny spot to have a quick bite to eat. We were Sat quickly. Went for breakfast and breakfast options are decent. We got the eggs Benedict and chilaquiles. Food came out quick and was good. If you're in a pinch and hungry for a decent meal would definitely recommend.

Healthy breakfast burrito.

I like the front entrance. They also have a side entrance but it's not as appealing to the eyes. A handful of tables outside in a patio area with a couple of TVs. When you walk in, it's like walking into a wine bar. At least that's the vibe I received. But it's a small family restaurant. Which is dope. Look like I arrived just in time for happy hour. The bar area gives this chill and intimate vibe especially with the many wine bottles being displayed. And the bartender is right there to service you with no problems. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Even the two older women who didn't decide to speak until Barbara the bartender sat a bit late of fried calamari in front of me lol. That indeed sparked great conversation amongst the 3 of us. Talking about calamari and sone other restaurants. I'm used to drinking my Moscow Mules out of copper cups so this grey one was different and it was smaller in size but the drink itself was definitely refreshing. Wasn't tryna rush it lol. And It's $7.20 during happy hour. The calamari for me could have been seasoned better or more. I also would've preferred it to be fried a lil bit longer. I love mines crispy or a lil bit hard and not so chewy. With that being said, Barbara said to let them know next time. However, I believe it's a popular item and I could see why, especially with the portion size. It's very generous indeed. For $10.80 I would too. Barbara made me a Mojito and it was perfect. Very refreshing. Took my time with that also lol. A price of $7.20 you can't beat that at all. Very good price I must add. I personally think and feel like the filet mignon tacos were fire. No lie. It was tender. It was flavorful. Good portion size. I liked the presentation and flavors coming from everything. They're not street tacos either lol I would definitely get those again but I think they're only available during happy hour. 2 tacos for $10.80 during happy is an awesome deal. Before I left I thanked everyone for their service and even had the opportunity to chop it up with some staff members. Everyone was real cool. Fasho fasho. Barbara even introduced me to the chef on my way out. I believe his name is Angel. Great dude !!! and we also had a great conversation. I love the location. I love the service. I love the vibes and I love the food. Check em out for yourself if you're in the area or just wanna take a ride to somewhere new. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I have been wanting to try their eggs Benedict. They offer more than a half dozen options…read more Those of you who know eggs Benedict know it's all about the hollandaise sauce. Seaside Bistro claims homemade hollandaise. It is TERRIBLE, and COLD! It is also too sweet. What? I make hollandaise from scratch and the ingredients are simple: egg yolks, lemon juice, butter, salt, pepper and a little cayenne. I doubt that it was made scratch "in house", maybe they had a starter that they stirred together so they can say "homemade." Any way it was horrible, too thin, too sweet, not enough acid and not warm. The English muffin, ham, eggs and potatoes were good though. We were the only people in the restaurant at 9:30am and the service was lacking. Our server was on her phone and never came to check on us. We had to yell for her attention. I had high hopes but was disappointed. Stay away from the eggs Benedict.

I have heard great things about Trani's and it really lived up to its reputation.

It's a classic diner type restaurant that serves good quality food at a reasonable price. It took me a minute to select an omelette since there were so many options on the menu. However, when paired with their slightly spicy salsa (which doesn't come with the dish, but you can ask for), it was fantastic. Seriously, ask for the salsa. You'll thank me later. Can't say much about the home fried potatoes. The potatoes were good, but nothing special. The same can be said about the service. I don't have anything good or bad to say about it. If you pay with a card, they will charge you an extra $1.50.
