The positives - all of the staff greet you with a smile & were wonderful! We adored our waiter & one of the managers came by to introduce herself mid meal. We were seated right away & the ambiance is lovely. The negatives - like so many restaurants in Denver, the food was not good. The whipped ricotta was meh, the crab & chickpea dish was inedible, & the Cesar salad was way over salted. We booked reservations for a friend's Birthday party. Had reservations at 7 by 7:45 weren't seated. Asked multiple times if they had an update. Finally we asked if they were going to ask the table to leave and they said "no, we never ask people to leave". And, we weren't the only ones. People next to us had been waiting longer. We had a few things at the bar and it is not worth the hype. Maybe some other places. Not this one. Go somewhere else in RINO, like Barcelona or Uch, that is able to handle reservations, has good atmosphere and great food. read more

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The food, the wine, the SERVICE, were all amazing! I took a date here and would highly recommend for any special occasions. The service and drinks are top notch and is what will bring me back. The food is just okay. There are a few dishes that I liked, such as the beet plate, Corsican frites, and the tiramisu, but the rest is nothing to write home about. Having been big fans of sister Barcelona, we had admittedly high expectations. But none of the 5 dishes we had were particularly good. Fries were ok, but aoli tasted like plain mayo, and the ketchup was so firm that you needed a spoon to put it on your fry. Beef bavette was cooked well, but the green mystery sauce was deemed unpleasant by all three of us. Risotto had a porridge consistency, not fun. "Beefsteak tomatoes" with burrata tasted generic, and were not beefsteak at all, little roma's perhaps. (Manager reassured us that "that's just how the chef cuts them"). Meatballs were pleasant, but arrived after the check; growing pains hopefully. But everyone seemed to be having fun. read more

I went to Corsica for the first time when I heard they were under the same ownership group as Barcelona Wine Bar and it did not disappoint. Brandon the floor manager checked in with our table a few different times to make sure everything was going well. The food was very good and some of the small plates were very unique that I've never had. For as great as the food was (the stuffed dates were to die for) the wait time was horrendous. I made a reservation well in advance and we still waited over an hour to be seated. When we asked why the wait was so long, they told us they don't ask people to leave to their tables once their reservation is up. Others who arrived at the restaurant around the same time as my group also waited for over an hour to be seated. We were thanked for waiting so long, but were offered no apologies nor any compensation. I don't know if I would return despite enjoying the food because the management was terrible. read more

The food was easily the best part of the experience. No bad bites. Our reservation for 2 was scheduled for 7:15 and we did not sit until 8pm - 45 min later. On top of this, our waiter was completely overwhelmed so the service was extremely slow. This place is grossly mismanaged. The host and our waiter were extremely apologetic and clearly being asked to be responsible for a problem that was not their creation. Stop over booking the restaurant and assign waiters less tables. We wound up leaving at 11:15 - 4 hours after our reservation was supposed to start. I don't care how good a restaurant was, no one wants to sit there for 4 hours. read more

This place is very cute inside. It has warm lighting and they payed close attention to detail while decorating. Definitely would be good for a date or a gals night out, although it is extremely loud in there. We tried the asparagus Caesar, three cheeses, frites and the mussels. The taste was definitely there for me on all of the dishes. They say small plates and they really mean it. Service was good, the bartender talked to us about the wine and cocktails and hand marked everything on the menu that was gluten free for us. Not worth the drive or the money. I really wanted to like this place. But it just wasn't good. 1. Service lacked. Had to ask for replacement of set ups. He brought a squash dish and called it eggplant. Asked for the driest rose and he brought me the sweetest one. 2. The food was SALTY. Everything was over salted. The meatballs were tiny and full of salt. The cacio e Pepe was inedible. The mussels were ok but the fish in the dish was dry AF. Loved the squash and ricotta toast. This place works on all cylinders. The food is really good, service is attentive and cheerful, and the prices are fair. All six dishes ranging from salmon filleted to cornbread you frites to risotto were excellent, tasty.well seasoned and presented really well. I liked that you could order lots of wines in 3 oz servings allowing matches with the individual dishes and the selections were high quality and varied. We were really sated but couldn't pass on a dessert at the prices asked and chose a Corsican cheesecake, a fine finish and not too sweet. My only dissatisfaction was the latte, it just wasn't up to the quality of the rest of the meal. The total bill for 6 not so small plates, a dessert, 5 3oz serving of wine and a latte was $132 including tax and tip-unbeatable. Btw the ambience was lively and exhuberating. Maybe a drop load for this 75 year old but I just turned my hearing aides down a notch, no problem. read more

Had excellent food and wine at Corsica. When I left and couldn't get my car started (15 degrees) I returned after calling AAA. Monique and Mimi went above and beyond. Monique set me up with an Iphone charger close to the end of the bar so I could have a glass of wine and keep an eye on any potential AAA messages. The ambiance was lovely but a bit too loud with the music turned up (old man hot take don't @ me). Service was friendly and the ~5 dishes we all got were very good. The only issue was pacing, everything came out backwards weirdly enough? For example the red meat dish came out first, then the pasta dish, with the amuse bouche coming out dead last a full 10+ minutes after everything else. So the pacing made zero sense but the food was tasty enough for me to want to try here again. Vibes were more of a nice date night or celebrating a special event than super casual (in a good way). read more

I know it's tapas but portions are very small , overpriced and inconsistent food quality . We ordered scallops , they came out as thinly sliced scallops and thinly sliced Cauliflowers over them . the food is not filling . do not go hungry . The menu is weird and doesn't have a ton of veggie options to lighten up the rest of the dishes. The food itself was not really good and definitely not worth the price (both in terms of flavor and size). The mocktail also wasn't really good. Unfortunately this is nothing like the sister restaurant Barcelona Wine Bar, so don't get your hopes up. The staff were nice and I'm sure working out some things as a new restaurant. Ambiance was fine. Unfortunately I would not recommend unless the menu and quality changes. read more
