I was in the area and decided to try this place. They have many different styles of crust, I decided to go thick. Service - While they do have seating, this place is primarily takeout/delivery. The service was good. They took my order and I headed over to Kroger. Atmosphere - I would not eat at the location just because it is busy (boxes and stuff which just does not make it comfortable. The lights were off so I just did my order. This has no effect on pizza or service. The seating is just overhead for the staff and they are busy taking orders / making pizza. Food - the crust is pillowy on the inside, crispy on the outside. I was not a fan of their pepperoni (now I am being picky). The pizza had a decent cook on the top but the pepperoni did not crisp up. Not sweet, but definitely not spicy sauce either. Nice mix. Good volume & distribution of toppings. Service was acceptable. Not too friendly, but they weren't rude. Just young people trying to get through the night. No complaints there... As you can see in a couple of the pictures, the dining area was a wreck. Didn't affect the pizza quality or taste, but I don't think I'd eat IN there. The pics are older & it's STILL like that in there. Good pizza w/a respectable price & taste. A friend and coworker referred me to Cottage Inn over a year ago. They have a wide variety of pizza styles and other great dishes. I mainly get the pizzas and inn sticks (bread sticks). My favorite is their BBQ pizza in thin crust with no onions. The owners are incredibly kind and personable. I have purchased here a lot since first trying it. Ordered a pizza and some wings for pickup on a Monday early evening. The online ordering process was a piece of cake and I appreciated the simplicity and efficiency of it all. The sauce on the pizza was great. It was tangy and flavorful. The crust was fine and the amount/variety of toppings worked well, too. The wings were a bit of a disappointment. Instead of saucing the wings when they came out of the fryer. they were boxed up with 2 cups of sauce. Wings need to be sauced when they are still smokin' hot to make sure the sauce adheres to all surfaces. I'm pretty fascinated by the mix of reviews about this place. The pizza is a pretty straightforward four-stars-for-chain-pizza for me. The deep dish is especially tasty (and way less greasy than Pizza Hut); the price is way better than nearby Granddad's, and tbh, I thought it tasted better than Granddad's, too. (Granddad's tiny pizzas + high prices . . . I dunno. I mean, they're not Bono or Harvest.) Maybe Cottage Inn has upped their game in the past couple of years, but I have ordered from them twice now and saw no reason to give it less than four stars. We've ordered delivery twice and twice it has come to us expediently, even earlier than expected. The pizza was hot, fresh, and good. Their cheese bread is also tasty (I'm a sucker for cheese bread, full stop.) Before moving out to the Hilliard-ish area, I was stuck with only Pizza Hut and Donatos if I wanted to get delivery. I don't think it was much of an option for us. The place was really dated, slightly dirty, and it looked as if someone (guessing a worker there) had sprawled their junk all over one of the tables, for their relaxation time later on. The quality of pizza is on par with Little Caesars pizza. It's just unfortunate they're charging $3 more in price. Even the subs were dismal, tasteless, and forgettable. I think Cottage Inn, while still rather obscure, is rapidly approaching the #1 mark in the HCA Book of Perfect Pizza. Seriously. Anyone who has said that 'a pizza is a pizza is a pizza' has never had Cottage Inn. I am a crust girl and this stuff is really off the charts with goodness. Rotolo's doesn't give me my crust fix but they do everything else right. So it's really a toss-up. You might have difficulty getting a delivery to you and it is located in Hilliard (Worthington location as well) but if you can stand it, go pick it up and try it. I preface this review by saying that my better half is a NUT about cottage inn. We're originally from michigan so we're used to having a ton around and they're his absolute favorite. With that said, not a big fan of this location. We've made a special trip out from Dublin recently so he can have his fav. After this last visit, we've really opted to heading to the polaris location. The last order we placed just wasn't quite what we ordered. We asked for extra cheese, extra sauce, and well done, none of which was actually on my pizza. I'm usually pretty discerning when it comes to pizza places. I know some days can be better than others, people are not perfect, but this was also not the first time this has happened for this location. In general for the store, I did notice that they allowed one of their employees to work in flip flops. I noticed that he had come in from delivering a pizza and went right to work making someone's pizza. Pretty sure this is a health code violation. The customer service was decent, not good or great by any means. The pizza was edible, so I'm giving two stars for that. I wouldn't really recommend this location to a friend, and I doubt I'll be returning. That whole cooking in flip flops deal has me a little "ewwww"-ed out. read more

The deep dish crust is slightly crispy on the outside but soft when you bite into it - plus if you're a glutton for sauces (and I am), you'll love the free crust options that Cottage Inn offers: garlic butter, Parmesan garlic, and even Cajun butter! The service was also impeccable. Our pizza order is usually complicated, specific toppings, no cheese, etc. Cottage Inn nailed it and delivered to us approximately 20 minutes faster than promised. The pizza was hot and the veggie toppings appeared and tasted fresh.
