What a fun visit. Be aware they have only 2 tables if you eat there. One sits 4 and one sits 2. The pizza was so amazing. Very delicious! I highly recommend. The Italian sub was so good. We got extra Italian dressing and it was perfect. I can't wait to be back and try more toppings. read more

Always been a big Tommy's fan and was visiting Columbus for the weekend and got a recommendation to try Grandmas. Pizza was fantastic, salad was large and a lot of toppings, and mozzarella sticks were hot and fresh. The best part, all that plus a 2 liter was under $30. Solid neighborhood pizza. We've ordered from them for a year or two and never been disappointed. Very fast delivery to Merion/Vasser Village. I've been meaning to post a high rating for a while, not sure why the average is so low, but I've never been to the actual location, which might have something to do with it. Very tasty pizza - I recommend getting something with several toppings, we always get The Works. The Potato Skins and the Garlic Cheese Bread are our favorite starters. Last week my girlfriend (who also left a review) and I decided to order Grandma's. It's not far from where we live and we wanted to try something new. We got a pizza that was supposed to have pepperoni, sauce, green pepper and onion on half but the onion was all over the pizza. The wings we ordered were undercooked and chewy, so we ended up throwing it out. This was probably the worst pizza I've ever had in my life. I think CostCo pizza is MUCH better than this and that's saying something. There is also no delivery so we had to go get it. If you are nearby and want pizza, try something else. read more

Came here after doing some thrifting down south for my Glam Jam outfit. I wanted to find something that was A) on the southside and B) for which I had a coupon. Grandma's satisfied both criteria. I called and placed an order for pickup when I left Ohio Thrift down at Great Southern. They said it would be ready in 20. It had been 15-20 when I got there, and they hadn't even started yet. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise because 1) When I got there, I discovered that a full on veggie pizza was the same price as my two topping, so I changed my order and 2) Hal & Al's is right across the street. So I went to imbibe a libation while I waited. The pizza was quite good! It's not as good as Hounddog's, but better than places like King's or Pharaoh's. It's in a really crappy area, and I'm pretty sure there have been a handful of shootings within a block of Grandma's in the time I've lived in the area. I had seen this one on Parsons so gave it a shot. I don't like to take risks on pizza. I want them to be good. Period. No room for error. This happened with Planks pizza which I thought was disgustingly sweet. I leave hungry and pissed. Okay enough of setting the tone for my issues with trying new pizzas. We ordered the Lotza Meat Pizza. Gross I know but we had been working hard all day! It was deliciously over the top. My only complaint was it was greasy but that was totally our fault for ordering all the meat. The order taker was nice, they were quick and it was tasty and hot. I really wanted to give Grandma's the benefit of the doubt after being displeased with the quality of our food last year, but boy it was bad this time too. The pizza was undercooked and flavorless. The crust was kind of soggy. I got BBQ wings that were undercooked so we threw about half out. We made a modification to our order which wasn't followed but I'm not too picky so it wasn't a big deal. Closes at 12 my ass. Not even from this town/ state and the first impression we had was with a snappy woman talking on her phone informing us that regardless that it's 11:23 and the sign says they close at 12, that the door should've been locked and ovens are off. Customer service must've been locked out as well as the rest of their customers. read more

Driver complained he was the only delivery guy when I asked how he was doing. Food was hot and delivered in timely manner. Meatball hoagie was dry and could not even detect cheese and very little sauce. I did order fries and they were good but on soggy side. Used ketchup to Doctor up all. Still have half the hoagie I was going to take to work tomorrow for lunch but decided to toss in trash. Won't be any better tomorrow. Very disappointed. I'm not sure why people are giving this place negative reviews...it's good and not too pricey. It is your typical thin crust Columbus-style pie. Do not let the location scare you away, but grandma's pizza is really good. This is my go to spot for delivery, because sometimes I do not feel like cooking and I do not want to put pants on. The pizza is fantastic. love it! The service, not so much. The woman on the phone told us that we could walk to this location and was judging us for not doing so. When we asked her to give specific directions to the driver, she got that all jacked up. We told her to direct him upstairs (there is a common front stairwell at the front entrance for the 2 apartments upstairs). Instead, she directed him to the "back of building apt." (as noted on the receipt) which is completely NOT correct. Driver then comes to the rear of the building, knocks on my downstairs neighbors door whom directs him upstairs. It was kinda wild getting a knock at my back door - which is a very private fenced in backyard. I [may have] stated that we weren't fans of the woman who took our call. After we were done eating, we went out back to have a cigarette and my pack WAS GONE along with 2 lighters! My friends pack of American Spirits were still there with one lighter, but the driver took my Pall Malls! WTF!! This is the weirdest, awfullest experience with Grandma's EVER. The definition of meh. Crust was as others described; probably frozen. Toppings were cheap. Sauce, straight from the can. This is just cheap meh pizza. I got a sub too. It was about as cheap as it can get too. Light on fillings. Plus, I called ahead and I don't think they even started on my order until I walked in the door. This place is probably passible while drunk, but otherwise, even your average chain pizza joint is better. Don't bother. To start the girl who answered the phone keeps talking to someone else in the store WHILE I was trying to give her my order,then I tell her about my coupon and she hands the phone to a VERY RUDE young man who proceeded to call me a liar when I told him I have the coupon right in front of me with THERE STORES # AND ADDRESS and he tells me,NO YOU DONT !!!! LOL.THE COUPON has the # and address and came on a pizza we ordered from them ..he says we don't have any like that I'm looking at our coupons..its an older coupon I'm sure we don't order there that much but THERE IS NO EXPIRATION DATE ON IT!
