It was on a Saturday and we wanted a great pizza after getting caught in the rain riding our motorcycle. I didn't realize that Grandma's closed at 11:00 p.m. THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking my order at 10:37pm for a large 1/2 Grand Gourmet and 1/2 pepperoni and cheese pizza. It tasted amazing even at the tail end of your shift. We will be ordering back again!!! What I love the most about the pizza is it's light sauce, crispy crust and great toppings. read more

Grandma's Pizza & Pasta - Large 1/2 pepperoni and cheese and 1/2 Gourmet Pizza. Sorry we dove in before the picture got taken. YUM! - Pizza Near Me - Columbus, Ohio

What a fun visit. Be aware they have only 2 tables if you eat there. One sits 4 and one sits 2. The pizza was so amazing. Very delicious! I highly recommend. The Italian sub was so good. We got extra Italian dressing and it was perfect. I can't wait to be back and try more toppings. read more

Inedible. The crust just tasted like raw dough. In the trash it went. No refund. The toppings were good though, and since I waited 45 minutes and I was starving, I just picked those off and ate them. read more

Always been a big Tommy's fan and was visiting Columbus for the weekend and got a recommendation to try Grandmas. Pizza was fantastic, salad was large and a lot of toppings, and mozzarella sticks were hot and fresh. The best part, all that plus a 2 liter was under $30. Definitely will be back next time I visit read more

I look forward grandmas pizza every time I come home. The pizza is kickass and always hot. The people are always friendly and have never screed up an order! read more

I have had the pizza once and today I had a sub. Both were the best I've had in a long time. The website is easy to navigate. The driver on both occasions was prompt and gracious. The pizza crust was perfect. The grandpas Italian with sausage is absolutely audacious. read more

Solid neighborhood pizza. We've ordered from them for a year or two and never been disappointed. Very fast delivery to Merion/Vasser Village. I've been meaning to post a high rating for a while, not sure why the average is so low, but I've never been to the actual location, which might have something to do with it. Speciality pizzas and build-your-owns both turn out well, loaded with toppings, and the crust is never gummy or burnt. read more

Very tasty pizza - I recommend getting something with several toppings, we always get The Works. The Potato Skins and the Garlic Cheese Bread are our favorite starters. I've been happy with their subs and wings as well - the wings are pizza place baked wings, so set those expectations accordingly. They have all of this good food and it's very affordable. read more

Best pizza in our neighborhood, cheap and handmade. Staff is friendly and quick! They do not deliver but pick up is easy and there's fast parking read more

Under new management. It's my first time having it regardless and after having it twice in two weeks now, would say it's very standard. Guess Columbus pizza style is like a semi-St. Louis take just going by the presentation. They really give a great topping portions here which I like. read more

I was never a fan, but now that it's under new management it's pretty good. The Italian sub w double meat is my favorite along with the chef salad. read more

Last week my girlfriend (who also left a review) and I decided to order Grandma's. It's not far from where we live and we wanted to try something new. We got a pizza that was supposed to have pepperoni, sauce, green pepper and onion on half but the onion was all over the pizza. The wings we ordered were undercooked and chewy, so we ended up throwing it out. This was probably the worst pizza I've ever had in my life. I think CostCo pizza is MUCH better than this and that's saying something. There is also no delivery so we had to go get it. If you are nearby and want pizza, try something else. read more

I would order from Grandma's every weekend and always got great service from employee's and the deliver guy. Delivery time was a little long but usually arrived before the time expected which made us happy. I would recommend Grandmas to anyone for great subs and pizza. Great people, always order pickup. Italian sub and Chicken Philly Sub are both great, Also love the works pizza, done well!! Very reasonable, even when including a tip. Wish they would change there name to reflect their new management (at least a year at this point) and reduce confusion. Web menu seems inaccurate, I always call. Again, really nice folks who care about the food!. Eat there 1-2 times a week. read more

Came here after doing some thrifting down south for my Glam Jam outfit. I wanted to find something that was A) on the southside and B) for which I had a coupon. Grandma's satisfied both criteria. I called and placed an order for pickup when I left Ohio Thrift down at Great Southern. They said it would be ready in 20. It had been 15-20 when I got there, and they hadn't even started yet. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise because 1) When I got there, I discovered that a full on veggie pizza was the same price as my two topping, so I changed my order and 2) Hal & Al's is right across the street. So I went to imbibe a libation while I waited. The pizza was quite good! It's not as good as Hounddog's, but better than places like King's or Pharaoh's. A good option, but it seems like most of their locations are on the south. I wouldn't drive out of my way for it and I'm definitely not in delivery range. Friendly, albeit slow, service. read more

Oh, Grandma's. I'm sort of amazed that I keep coming back. But, I do. So obviously they've got something going on... It's in a really crappy area, and I'm pretty sure there have been a handful of shootings within a block of Grandma's in the time I've lived in the area. So I'm always kind of scared to leave my car parked out of view- and there is NEVER any parking out front. The food is cheap and I'm sure everything comes from GFS. About what you would expect from a place like this, I guess. read more

Maybe it's because I set the bar so low? Nope it was good. I just moved to a new house by Children's Hospital and was hoping there would be a good pizza place. I had seen this one on Parsons so gave it a shot. I don't like to take risks on pizza. I want them to be good. Period. No room for error. This happened with Planks pizza which I thought was disgustingly sweet. I leave hungry and pissed. Okay enough of setting the tone for my issues with trying new pizzas. We ordered the Lotza Meat Pizza. Gross I know but we had been working hard all day! It was deliciously over the top. My only complaint was it was greasy but that was totally our fault for ordering all the meat. The order taker was nice, they were quick and it was tasty and hot. While her pizza isn't as good as her husbands (Grandads, though not related) it's damned fine. read more

An above average pizza shop that delivers in my hood. So far he service has been very good.

Terrible pizza. No sense of craftsmanship with pizza, just sloppy. Will never order from here.

I really wanted to give Grandma's the benefit of the doubt after being displeased with the quality of our food last year, but boy it was bad this time too. The pizza was undercooked and flavorless. The crust was kind of soggy. I got BBQ wings that were undercooked so we threw about half out. We made a modification to our order which wasn't followed but I'm not too picky so it wasn't a big deal. It was just poor quality of food. Felt like a waste of money. Ordered around 8pm on a week night. read more

Closes at 12 my ass. Not even from this town/ state and the first impression we had was with a snappy woman talking on her phone informing us that regardless that it's 11:23 and the sign says they close at 12, that the door should've been locked and ovens are off. Customer service must've been locked out as well as the rest of their customers. read more

Driver complained he was the only delivery guy when I asked how he was doing. Food was hot and delivered in timely manner. Meatball hoagie was dry and could not even detect cheese and very little sauce. I did order fries and they were good but on soggy side. Used ketchup to Doctor up all. Still have half the hoagie I was going to take to work tomorrow for lunch but decided to toss in trash. Won't be any better tomorrow. Very disappointed. Will go back to the big box guys where you can expect consistency. Sorry grandma. It was pretty poor. read more

Just moved to olde towne east and called to ask if they delivered, they said yes. When the driver showed up, he told us that they wouldn't deliver to us anymore, that the guy on the phone was new and didn't know.. "What are you trying to do get me killed?!" Were his very loud and exact words... Really? Incredibly ignorant and rude read more

This place was a lot better under previous owner but it's still good. We used to get Gyros which seems odd for a pizza place but they have/had an extensive menu. Sometimes the toppings seem a bit over the top but that's okay. read more

Nope. Do you want pizza that tastes like a microwave warmed lunchable? Great. Do that instead of paying for this hot garbage. Don't do delivery. You're better off with a $2 Red Baron from Kroger. Just nope. read more

I'm not sure why people are giving this place negative reviews...it's good and not too pricey. It is your typical thin crust Columbus-style pie. We got the veggie and the gyro pizzas, which were both delicious. The gyro pizza had better flavor. Try it, you won't regret it. They are fast and friendly when ordering. Is it the best pizza in Columbus? No, not by a long shot, but if you're in Merion Village and have a hankering for pizza, go there. read more

Do not let the location scare you away, but grandma's pizza is really good. This is my go to spot for delivery, because sometimes I do not feel like cooking and I do not want to put pants on. The pizza is superb, and my only complaint is the veggie sub is kinda boring. Delivery is super fast, and the website for online delivery is really easy to use. read more

i just ordered wings, subs, and pizza from there and the wings were supposed to be buffalo wings but they had 0 sauce on it

I had a vegetarian pizza from here and really liked it I had it delivered with no problems

The pizza is fantastic. love it! The service, not so much. The woman on the phone told us that we could walk to this location and was judging us for not doing so. When we asked her to give specific directions to the driver, she got that all jacked up. We told her to direct him upstairs (there is a common front stairwell at the front entrance for the 2 apartments upstairs). Instead, she directed him to the "back of building apt." (as noted on the receipt) which is completely NOT correct. Driver then comes to the rear of the building, knocks on my downstairs neighbors door whom directs him upstairs. It was kinda wild getting a knock at my back door - which is a very private fenced in backyard. I [may have] stated that we weren't fans of the woman who took our call. After we were done eating, we went out back to have a cigarette and my pack WAS GONE along with 2 lighters! My friends pack of American Spirits were still there with one lighter, but the driver took my Pall Malls! WTF!! This is the weirdest, awfullest experience with Grandma's EVER. But the pizza is fantastic. read more

The definition of meh. Crust was as others described; probably frozen. Toppings were cheap. Sauce, straight from the can. This is just cheap meh pizza. I got a sub too. It was about as cheap as it can get too. Light on fillings. Plus, I called ahead and I don't think they even started on my order until I walked in the door. This place is probably passible while drunk, but otherwise, even your average chain pizza joint is better. Don't bother. My quest for a good "standard" (meaning, not high end like Harvest) south side local pizza joint continues. read more

I called a few minutes ago to place an order at the Parsons ave location and got the WORST customer phone service I HAVE EVER HAD!! To start the girl who answered the phone keeps talking to someone else in the store WHILE I was trying to give her my order, then I tell her about my coupon and she hands the phone to a VERY RUDE young man who proceeded to call me a liar when I told him I have the coupon right in front of me with THERE STORES # AND ADDRESS and he tells me,NO YOU DONT !!!! LOL.THE COUPON has the # and address and came on a pizza we ordered from them ..he says we don't have any like that I'm looking at our coupons..its an older coupon I'm sure we don't order there that much but THERE IS NO EXPIRATION DATE ON IT! If they care at all about there business they would fire these people and get some professional workers..my family owned a pizza shop for almost 30 years and I would have NEVER treated my customers like that.I wouldn't have even gave them 1 star if it would have allowed me to continue without do ing so. read more
