Hidden Gem Country Griddle is a cozy little restaurant tucked into a strip mall. The restaurant is cute, colorful, clean, serving breakfast/lunch/dinner. What, I immediately noticed after sitting down was the tableware-- not the cheap stuff you often find in a diner, this tableware was the nice heavey forks/spoons/knifes. The menu offers a nice variety of options, there is something to satisfy everyone's craving. I really appreciate that you can choose a biscuit and gravy in lieu of toast with breakfast or zucchini, fries, potato salad, or fruit with your sandwich Everything we ordered was really good. Little spot nested in the strip mall is well worth the stop. It's only open for breakfast and lunch. Menu had a good variety of items on both sections. Waitress was fast, friendly, efficient and had a smile. Food came out quickly and hot! Portion size was big and we are taking food home. We tried the breakfast burrito with bacon. Nice ratio of eggs, potatoes and bacon. The salsa was a nice addition on the side. Also added a side of beans. Nice and creamy and cheesy. Also had the chocolate chip pancakes. Two large pancakes were on the plate. The pancakes were light and fluffy and filled with lots of chocolate chips. We will definitely be coming back. What a great little breakfast place. They also serve lunch but I did not review menu. My husband had eggs, biscuits and gravy. I had country fried steak & eggs. The waitress was so nice when we asked to sample gravy first, we are picky and it was yummy thus our breakfast choices. Gravy was tasty, light on sausage but great flavor, not white flour taste. Hash browns, crispy outside and cooked perfectly inside. I always get eggs over medium and the cook got it right. 33.00 for 2 breakfasts which is about average now. This mom and pop place has the best breakfast/brunch hands down. Made from scratch food. I was so happy when it opened. It's always full and the staff are friendly and the place is clean. Came her after my sons soccer practice. Family owned was quite busy but the service was great. Did not have to wait long and my whole family ate something different except my husband and I ordered the same. Hot chocolate was good sodas good. My son got the Philly cheesesteak and let me have a bite and it was so good. I got the steak and eggs which was good loved the country potatoes the steak to be fair was cooked a bit more than I like and could use my seasoning but still delicious. I don't even want to take any stars away because I still enjoyed it and their fries was also good. The ambience was a bit nosy due to them being busy but it was that good noise level. Ordered the Huevous Rancheros and the tortilla was so hard and stale. Very difficult to even cut it. I finally pulled it off. I asked for strawberry jam and it was closer to water than jam. When the waitress came over I showed her how difficult it was to cut the food and she said next time they can grill the tortilla. There won't be a next time. The waitress was very nice though. I once recommended this spot to everyone who asked. Until the owner and his wife said that my special needs son who has an eating disorder could not eat his food there. It was after church and my favorite spot to eat. I explained this to the owner and also said if I needed a letter explaining his eating disorder could he eat his food there. I was told no and I got very upset. I was told to leave and never come back. I have a nephew who also has an eating disorder. Certain foods he can't digest and he won't be able to eat his food there while we as a family enjoy breakfast. So now when someone says hey where is a good place for breakfast I start out with Not Country Griddle and explain why. May the Lord change their hearts to allow children with special food needs be permitted to eat their portion while families enjoy time of fellowship and memories together like they should. read more

Nice new place, but the breakfast was not impressive. Let me say first, the potatoes were great, nice crust and tasty. Pancakes are obviously from a mix, but I have to also say the syrup was cane syrup, so that was nice. I got the Popeye omelette, which had sautéed mushrooms which with the bacon made it pretty greasy. Sausage was decent and my wife's eggs were nicely cooked. Toast was also a yawn. When we think of we could have gone to First Watch or Over Easy, this just doesn't stand up. If you're close by and looking for a simple breakfast without driving far, maybe it's a good option. read more

Wow !! Just wow ! Zuly was our waitress and she was very attentive. I had the Portuguese sausage and eggs . Simple but delicious , my daughter had the country fried steak and eggs and , she loved . Decided to try out this new restaurant. Just opened one month ago. We were greeted by Sergio who was kind and personable. Sergio works for his sister and brother in law who relocated here from Orange County in So Cal. The ambiance is peaceful and relaxing. The food was really good and reasonably priced. We had the Chilaquiles and the Ham steak. Nice portions. The Chilaquiles were very good. Spicy but not too spicy. The ham steak was thick and tasty. My toast came with home made strawberry jam, yum!
