    Hungry man breakfast hero
    Tom G.

Went here while traveling out east. Wasn't busy when we went around 10. Ordered the hungry man breakfast hero. It was very good and filling. The wife got an omelet and side of hash browns which were good. Friendly customer service. I'd definitely come back to try out their lunch sandwiches

    The Hurricane Sandwich is amazing!

Visiting from out of town and asked what their go-to sandwich is. They recommended The Hurricane Sandwich which I'm now recommending to you. Huge selection of sandwiches, drinks, breakfast options--all the works of a great deli. Delicious, friendly service, and has that classic deli/sandwich shop look where you know the food will slap. If I'm back in the area I'll be back for sure. My girlfriend was hangry and just look at how happy she is during and after the sandwich

This half sandwich was plenty for me.

Excellent sandwiches, friendly and courteous services, reasonable prices. After one visit, I'd say I'm a fan and I'd definitely return and/or recommend.

Five stars because they are the best in class. The egg sandwiches are what all others are measured by - best in town at any price, except these are half of what they charge at the delis in town. Heroes are terrific as well. The Italian hero is simply perfect, but the real genius is in the named menu combinations that set Long Island delis apart from anywhere else in the country. You could - and should - spend an entire summer trying a different one every day, you cannot go wrong in here.

The food is great with good delivery time. However. The first thing that hits me when I walk in is a disgusting mold smell that reminds me of the bilge on my boat, the second thing I see is mismatched flickering florescent lights then my table feels sticky. Also the Ac unit looks 50 years old and on a 75 degree day it is hot and stuffy in there. Overall, how the hell did this place pass inspection and how am I supposed to enjoy their good food in a bad environment.

Best sandwich in town, bar none. Try the "westhampton beach" but make sure to be really, really hungry; it's a monster!

Can't get a better hero around. Bread is great and the heros are huge. Only downfall it's cash only.

I got the hurricane hero. It was good, but not great. They had many other selections and the service was good. It's worth a try. Cash only!

Every meal is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. My favorites are the Sweet Basil Chicken (hands down my favorite dish on the menu), the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, the Kale Chicken Caesar, and the Truffle Mushroom Arancini. They're all incredible and never disappoint. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is always friendly whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout. It's one of those places you find yourself coming back to again and again. Highly recommend!

Service was very friendly and efficient! Apps: Pear Salad, Edamame Hummus, & Burrata: All three were 10/10! The salad was so fresh with a tangy vinaigrette and sweet pears. The hummus was so savory and the burrata had a delicious tomato sauce that brightened the dish! Mains: Truffle Mushroom Arancini and Soba Noodles - the arancini was rich, cheesy, and super flavorful! The soba noodles were perfectly salty and the veggies were so fresh. Everything was truly phenomenal. Can't wait to come back next time I'm out east!

This place has been here for so many decades, it almost feels like stepping back in time with the big wooden booths and pastry counter. It's giving old school diner. When you walk in you'll notice the bakery portion of the store to your right, where you can order any freshly baked breads, pastries, cookies and the like. Straight back is where you go to place food and coffee orders. You place your order on a kiosk. Options include a variety of egg dishes, omelets and frittatas, as well as waffles, pancakes and avocado toast. There's a full coffee bar as well with iced coffees, lattes and other espresso drinks to choose from. We went with a bunch of iced coffees, a "build your own" omelet, breakfast burrito and mushroom omelet. Despite the crazy line here on a Saturday afternoon our food came out very quickly. Coffees took another 20 minutes or so until we were able to ask someone about it (we felt bad, they were so busy), and they handed them over to us. The food here was good and fresh, but also very no frills and portions are small. The prices here are so high though that when we were walking by Donahue's on our way out we realized we could've had a fancy brunch there for just about the same price as we paid for a few small dishes.

I savored every bite of apple crispness as it melted in my mouth. The powder in the outside of the turnover was a little messy but it made it a fun eating experience. I sat at the bar which was a very pretty, classic old school, Irish bar with a polished wood finish. The bartender was friendly and when I first walked in the bar I was surprised to see it empty at 3pm. I couldn't figure out why the bar wasn't packed out with happy hour right around the corner. A few more patrons came in and were talking about city life and how they were just passing through. Felt more transient than local hangout for sure. Also a person who I believed to be the manager reprimanded the bartender for chilling the beer glasses in the wrong ice cooler located under the bar that was meant to be used for drink ice. I thought this was very strange. First off it seemed to be punitive like it wasn't previously addressed in a serious manor. Secondly it was right in front of me, the customer, as a manager myself I would never do that in earshot of a patron. It's hard to convey the tension of the staff in this forum but it felt palpable. Long story short, if they want to bring more people in they should work on a more cohesive vibe. If that was the case I would bump it up a star.

We were in the neighborhood after looking at a few local reviews and knew we had to give them a try. The Mr and I, with our baby in tow were pleasantly surprised with how fresh the menu items that we selected were. We started off splitting a Roasted Beet and Pear salad, not one wilted green, which isn't always the easiest to come by. The only miss for me was the ratio of beets to pear, where I had less peach pieces and flavor. All in all it was a delightfully, light, crisp salad with a good amount of beets. I moved forward to the Garlic Lime Shrimp entree and the Mr got my 2nd choice option, the Shrimp Tacos. Both were presented nicely where eating with you eyes is real. The tastbuds did follow soon after enjoying every bite. :) The shrimp within both entrees were the best we have had in sometime being big, juicy and full of flavor. After that since it was a holiday weekend we opted for some dessert too. Talk about sizable slices of Tuxedo and Peanut Butter ice cream pies, that literally you can share just one super easily. The Mr opted for the Tuxedo slice since he loves chocolate. I went for the Peanut Butter, which had the bonus of a Rice Krispies crust. Why have I never thought to do that while baking...definitely something to try. Both come out looking bigger than life and not melting in any way which was great. It was amazing to see it keep it's shape all the way through slowly eating it to the end. The waitress was super sweet and attentive to our requests. The only real thing that has me omiting a stars here is the fact for a small lot they had a valet, but worse than that the fact that there was no electricity in bathroom. Oddly no windows for light, or battery operated lanterns/fake candles for light. Had to break out the cell phone flash light function to maneuver around. Totally unacceptable ;( for that prop main door to stay open.
