    Tuna melt Sandwich

So this place is at the Paso Robles Airport and when you enter it has a very open space with high ceilings with a big window showing private planes on the tarmac. The restaurant is to the left of the building. I will say that upon entering the restaurant it appears to be a bit tight. They have bar sitting to the left and dine in to the right. We got seated right away and gotten our drink orders immediately. We ordered a couple of things: Tuna melt sandwich (3/5)- the tuna melt was so salty. That's pretty much all I can remember from this sandwich. Hamburger with Bacon- I mean it's like any other burger. Tri-tip sandwich with chili soup (5/5)- this is the second time my aunt has ordered this email and she said it is really good. Veggie omelette (5/5)- Another good meal. I gave them a 4 star cause the tuna sandwich was extremely salty and I love salty food and plus our server kept on forgetting that we ask her for water or a refill and another server would have to tend to our table. It is a nice restaurant with cool views and decent food.

Joe's One-Niner Diner in Paso Robles has a great view of the airport action and a charming vibe--perfect for aviation fans. The breakfast is outstanding, with delicious pancakes and tasty hash browns and super friendly service every time. I stop here anytime I'm in the area!

Always a great meal. Quick service and food is made quickly. Nice to see the aircraft coming and going from your table.

    Pancake

I got the Loraine omelette & substituted a pancake for the toast. They were both delicious! The omelette was very tasty & the bacon pieces in it were thick. The pancake was very good as well. The service was excellent! My husband enjoyed his egg & sausage meal & loved the home baked toast. We will be returning!!

Fantastic diner hidden out in Paso at the airport. Classic dishes. Would recommend coming for breakfast. The wait is sometimes long, especially for large groups, but that tells you how popular it is. Omelets are my main go-to but this time tried the chilaquiles and was not disappointed. Big portion, good balance of spicy flavor, love the crispy chips.

After a morning of wine tasting in Paso Robles, I wanted a good, hearty lunch. Came across this place online and had a feeling it would be exactly what I was hoping. We arrived to the Paso Robles airport and easily found Joe's One-Niner Diner. We walked in and it was exactly as anticipated; full of locals and very home-y. We sat next to the window which gave amazing views of this tiny airport on a beautiful sunny day. Everything on the menu sounded great. I went with the chicken-fried steak, which the server (who was sooo sweet!) assured me would be a great choice. My fiance ordered the tri-tip sandwich. After enjoying the view for a few minutes, our food arrived. My chicken fried steak was topped with a beautiful amount of gravy, just as I'd hoped. It came with a hefty serving of hash brown, eggs (I got scrambled), and an english muffin. First, I dug into the hash brown. Omg, best hash brown I've ever had!! They were super hot, cooked perfectly, and has a thin crispy layer on top. Next, the eggs, solid. I finally started my chicken-fried steak which was perfection. The gravy was tasty and the steak was perfectly crispy on the outside with just the right amount of tender meat inside. Amazing! My fiance also loved his tri-tip sandwich. If we're ever in the area again, we'd happy come back to Joe's One-Niner Diner.

What a great surprise! I am a pilot and I flew into Paso Robles looking forward to eating at this resturant. It's right on the airport so if you are a pilot you walk right off transit parking to the place! For non aviation people, it's a PERFECT place to watch views of the planes taking off and landing. Food : I got the tri tip Chilla Quiles and my dad made his own omelette. IT WAS VERY DELICIOUS. The chillequiles was the best I've ever had Service: service was okay, didn't refil waters or anything and I had to go up for the bill hence the 4 stars Overall: would definitely come back just for the tri tip breakfast !

We were seated at a small booth, perfect. Drink orders taken now we needed to decide what to eat. M went with a light breakfast offering a pancake, a scrambled egg and bacon. Hum it was dinner time dear, I needed more time. The fish & chips were the special and it was Good Friday but I went big with the hot pastrami sandwich. Fries are extra so I ordered the onion rings to accompany the sammie. Pretty quick the food was out of the kitchen and on the table in front of us, wow M dove right into that 7" pancake as soon as she finished pouring on the syrup. My sandwich was a hood size on a very soft french roll a good six inches Very tasty but I always think there should be more meat than bread, there was alot of bread in that roll. Where's the beef, right... Onion rings, nothing special your average frozen beer battered Moores onion ring served late but freshly hot. We had a good meal, good service and a fair price. Was it five star, no it was a good four star, we didn't need or want anything special. Now dessert was a calling from behind that glass display when we walked in the door but tonight the stomach and the wallet forgave. We were gonna need reason for movie concessions, right? A group of us went for dinner and I had the Western Burger and fries. The burger had good flavor with the ingredients tasting very fresh. Our food arrived quickly and I would definitely come back again to try one of the other sandwiches or burgers, if we are in the neighborhood. The only drawback to this restaurant was that they close at 7:30pm daily, a bit early for my dining habits. Lots of bussers running around but seemed like only 1 waitress. From the time we ordered our food it seemed like eternity till we ate. I quickly realized that our food probably sat on the ready counter for a significant length isn't time. I ordered biscuits and gravy with bacon and two eggs over easy. The biscuits were ok at best, Gravy lacked flavor and my eggs were as cold as the weather outside. My GF ordered a sandwich, that did not come with fries. That was discovered once the order arrived. We were told they're playing with the menu. ‍, sounded weird but ok. She also god a side of mozzarella sticks. Those two were cold. Like they took a string cheese and rolled it in breading and heated in the microwave for about 15 seconds. So disappointing. I hope they figure out their staffing issues and lock in the menu. Seems like a decent spot but I'll find another breakfast place. Don't waste your money, plus I heard the tips are automatically added to the bill. I didn't look that closely because there was only 3 of us eating and I'm not used to auto tipping unless you have a large party. If they do auto tipping, my waitress hit well more than deserved because I tipped on my own as well. The table we were sat, was out of little jam packets. Seems like a trivial thing to bring up but details matter. What else are they skipping...? Do they even wipe down a table when it's reset first the next guests? McDonalds is down the street. At least their food is hot!

Thanks, Cameron, for getting us in! Our server Rosie was great. The first thing I asked for was orange juice, and she warned me they might be out but said she would check. Somehow I lucked out and got the last of it! Fresh squeezed, cold and absolutely delicious. Everything on the menu sounded good, and I seriously considered going the French toast route, but I spotted someone nearby eating the breakfast burrito and that made my decision for me. We ordered the chilaquiles with avocado (should've added chorizo too), and the brunch hash (shredded pork shoulder with carrots and sweet potatoes and fried eggs on top). Appreciated the selection of hot sauces including our favorite Cholula on the table. Our entrees could've used more flavor/seasoning overall. The green salsa on the chilaquiles was mainly sour. The carrots and sweet potatoes on the hash made them predominantly sweet with a touch of zing from the jalapeños. A better balance of flavors would make the meal more memorable.
