Good food and good music. The team member at the front was nice but everybody else just looked at us lol I had the double and my brother had a single. I think I would have still been hungry if I had just the single. The fries could have been hotter in my opinion. Seems like they were already cooked before the burgers. I didn't stand and watch them cook because they just seemed like they wouldn't have liked that. They have their own soda flavors that I have never seen anywhere else. I actually don't like the self order kiosk direction that every new spot seems to be going in. However the person at the front was very helpful with us using it. We visited Orlando last week and decided to stop by Cow and Cheese for a burger. We felt the burgers had potential, but had a few issues. We walked in and ordered at the kiosk. I went with the doc add pickles. This is their Oklahoma onion burger. My buddy got a double add pickles. We both got a water and grabbed a seat. They take your number to text you when your order is ready. We sat down and within a few minutes our text came through saying our order was ready. I grabbed our food and headed back to the table. We both got into our burgers and found similar issues with both. First issue was the buns were cold. They were toasted, but we're actually cold to the touch. The second issue we found is the burgers had a burnt taste to them like the griddle was dirty. It wasn't just a good char from the burger. The rest of the burger was well executed. The patty had good char, the bun was toasted, cheese and onions were tasty. They were a little under seasoned, but that's a personal taste. The pickles and cheese dip added a nice touch. Overall, we found the burgers to be good with a few things to improve on. The location was cool and the food has great potential if executed properly. I am hopeful they will get it dialed in. read more

This was my first and last trip to cow and cheese. Let's start with the physical store itself. The place was dirty, it felt like there was burger grease on everything from the tables to the glass doors. On to the service...non existent? You order from a kiosk and there is no human contact until you need something like ketchup or a napkin since none of the orders come with it packaged in the little black trash bag they serve your food in. Lastly let's talk about the food. The burger is touted as a double it is honestly smashed down so much that it is still smaller than a single from the far superior shake shack. One piece of tiny lettuce was a .50 cent add on. The bun was the majority of the size of this and it was stale. Somehow I couldn't differentiate the crunchiness of the burger from the bun. The fries were unevenly cooked. Some were good and some looked like they sat at the bottom of the fryer for days. I never leave or throw away food especially with today's prices but half of that sandwich and 3/4 of the fries were thrown out. The taste wasn't worth the calories or the money read more

Just moved to the area and really wanted a burger. Saw this spot and was NOT disappointed! We were immediately greeted by a woman named Merritt working there (might be the manager?) Her customer service was top notch and she ensured my husband and I knew exactly what was on the menu and also told us different ways we could get our burgers. The price was GREAT and our burgers were out within 5 minutes. The burger prices ranged from $5- $9. They also had 'stubborn soda' which was really good and had no artificial sweeteners! The vibe was super cool, 90s hip hop classics were playing (think Tupac and Snoop Dogg). The art work on the wall was beautiful and really added to the vibe. They added nice touches such as the outlet covers and the plant pots also had cow print. My single smash burger was phenomenal, I literally couldn't stop eating it till I was done. The fries were crispy and cooked to perfection. We also tried the beer cheese which was AMAZING. So good and you can tell it was made in-house. Super thick with a lot of complimentary spices. Cow & Cheese baby!! This burger joint popped on my radar a few weeks ago and I was so excited to give this place a try. As soon as you walk in these delicious creations of beef and cheese fill your senses. The menu is pretty straight forward and not a lot of extras. This placed was jam packed of loyal customers and people picking up to-go orders as well. You order on two kiosks. This place is pretty chill and they were playing some great music while we ate. Got the Doc burger with the crinkle cut fries(the best kinda fries) and their beer cheese. There is a little wait for the food as it is getting freshly cooked every time. You can hear the cooks grilling away which just adds to the anticipation. The Doc burger was delicious. It had their signature sauce, cheese, tons of caramelized onions smashed into the meat, and I added pickles to it. If you don't like onions don't get this one. You can also get this in the side if you'd like. The beef had those little crispy bits of char that made the flavor deep and rich. It was jam packed with flavor The fries were smothered in the beer cheese. My personal preference for next time will be to have the cheese in the side to dip. The fries were a soggy by the time I bit into them but my wife had the fries plain and that was the winner. Will I come back? Yes, of course I will. Can't say now to a good tasty burger. read more

My wife and I had dinner at Cow and Cheese tonight. We both had double cheeseburgers with French fries. The restaurant is a little difficult to find but there is adequate parking. Went here for a burger and overall it wasn't bad I felt like it tasted good and for the price I can't really complain, I see a lot of post saying it's the best spot in Orlando so I went to check it out and it was ok, the burger felt a bit dry since they don't put much sauce on it. Not sure if it was just a one time thing or often like that since in the photos on there menu it looks more sauced but if I'm in the area I wouldn't mind getting it. I went to the restroom upon arriving and it was disgusting. We don't Mr ordered food and the service was blah they seemed bothered by us. The employees seem very discombobulated and the restaurant needed to be cleaned and restocked. We drove almost two hours to get there and it was disappointing. I got the double smash burger, which had two thin, crispy, smashed patties accompanied by creamy American cheese. The bun is also steamed to perfection and soft, which adds to the burger a lot. I tried the seasoned fries this time. They were great! The seasoning is reminiscent of BBQ chips - sweet, salty, savory. I think two people can definitely share a fry. Service: It was great! I ordered a double cheese burger with a few toppings and the Kwame B fries with the secret rub.. The taste of the meal was great. I think I have a good idea of what the secret rub is. Service was good enough. You order at kiosk and they call you up when your order's ready. The two things I didn't care for were the al a carte toppings and the burger to bun ratio.. Burger staples like lettuce, tomato, and pickles were each an additional charge. The patties are simply too thin for the size bun they use. You have to get at least a double for a proper burger experience. I haven't had many smash burgers so this could be seen as a novice's opinion. To end on a good note, the toasted and buttered bun definitely enhanced the taste of the burger. read more

Walked in and beat the rush, no line to wait in. To order there are two screens to self order at a end of a que. I got the double. They're smash burgers. Very thin and crispy spots. I saw a triple on the menu but after having the double, if you were hungry a triple wouldn't be too much. Everything was cooked fresh. The workers were friendly. Took about 10 minutes to get my food. Not sure how long it may take if it was really busy. The burger was delicious, I ate it all. I also got a order of the seasoned fries and beer cheese. The fries are crinkle cut and crispy. Loved this place at the start because of the freshness and it being one of the best smash burgers in town. The menu isn't overwhelming & It's a fairly small shop where you can sit down to grab a burger when craving one. The service is overall efficient, you basically order your meal on a touch screen and the employees are there to assist. I like the fact that the burgers seem light and are quite simple and the meat isn't super thick. The fries are always hot and delicious. After a few visits, to me, it's missing the wow factor it had the first time. It's like the burgers aren't as hot/fresh maybe which was one of the things that set it apart from other burger joints. I ordered the doc which is 2 patties, caramelized onions cheese and sauce. I also added pickles for an up charge because I love pickles. I think my favorite part was the pickles. Yum. The meat on the burger was as fine. Could use a little seasoning maybe. The onions I think were a bit much for me even though I like onions. I had a lot on my burger and it was over powering. Easily my new favorite burger spot in Orlando! The staff is super friendly and really knows their stuff. The prices are solid, and the food quality is top tier. I got 2 double cow double cheese burgers and both were average without much taste to them. The pattys on both were well done, very thin, more of a burnt taste without much flavor; however, I'm not sure how you can make pattys that thin and not be over done without a sous vide. The customer service was great, as staff were super helpful and friendly (and they don't allow tipping). The food itself was good. I enjoyed the burger more than the fries. The crinkle fries were fried hard (not my preference) and came with sea salt on them. It would've been great to have a Cajun or seasoned alternative :) To drink, I had the black cherry pop (fountain drink - so good). The store layout itself was open with ample amount of seating. There is so much talk about Cow & Cheese that I had to try them for myself. I ordered the DOC. It's made with two smashed burgers, thinly sliced caramelized onions, american cheese and cow & cheese sauce. It's on a toasted brioche bun. The burger is sloppy good. Each bite caused onions to slip out of the back half. The meat is very thin with crunchy edges and the bun was very fresh. I enjoyed the burger and will return for another. In addition to the burger I ordered fries with beer cheese sauce.
