I hate airport restaurants. You're trapped. You don't have much choice. The staff are generally unhappy and mildly interesting. This place was sooooo different! We started with drinks. The choice and selection is amazing. They can pretty much make any drink. The food - unbelievable. Started with the infamous Stetson salad. It's incredible. I've never had anything like it! I spoke to an older gentleman (he was apparently my server but he had not introduced himself as such) and instead of any apology for not serving me he said, "well, I walked past your table several times". Atrocious service from the host today. She said "let's get your table", so I followed and she yelled at me that the table wasn't ready yet. Are you kidding me? All she did was rearrange some salt and pepper shakers and then permit me to sit. But then, she wouldn't "let" us bring our car seat to the table, which would have fit just fine completely tucked underneath. I wasn't asking to block an aisle and didn't feel comfortable leaving it in front with her running the show. Our trip would be pretty much screwed if anything happened to it. They ask that you keep your bags with you at the table so they're not responsible, the car seat is more important. Not family friendly at all. read more

The sad part is that if you are not flying somewhere you are not going to be able to eat there. In any case, this place is nice, clean and, my god quick with the service. We barely ordered and the food was out to us. The Open Face Steak Sandwich is tender and flavorful. I am impressed. The chips served with it are excellent, the piece of advice I offer up is to be careful of the blue cheese on the chips. Mild is not a word that goes with this cheese. In fact my first bite clearly explained to me that I was having a chip with blue cheese on it. Or more accurately I was having a chip with my blue cheese. Wow!!!!! Came here a few months ago and ordered an open face sandwich and steak salad. For airport food it's actually good. Today we had ordered the chop salad as well as the tomato cream soup. The soup was very tasty as well as creamy. The salad, which was good however was meant apparently for a child. The salad, which is very pretty don't get me wrong is striped with tomatoes, sweet corn, tasted like corn pops as well as chicken. There is also trail mix thrown into the salad. The avocado ranch tastes homemade, but the portion size is ridiculously small!! A whole slew of different types of mushrooms in a savory brown gravy with avacado and polenta. The menu had some interesting/unique fare which I really like. Running through the airport to my flight and thought I would sit down for a quick bite to eat. The breakfast menu was small with only 5 items but they all looked good so I thought I would give it a go. My waitress sat me fast and obviously had too much coffee this morning but no big deal, she was nice. I opted for the Monday Quesadilla, apparently they decide what's inside every Monday. Mine was filled with Oaxaca and Jack cheese, short rib and egg topped with chipotle sour cream drizzle and fresh Pico de gallo. YUM! I scarfed it up so fast my waitress thought I dropped the plate. As far as airport restaurants go, I enjoyed this place. They had a decent selection of food about the same price as other places. However, not much under $15, so if you are concerned about cost in the airport, this wouldn't be the best. I wanted a sit down place where I could drink and eat before my flight was delayed. Definitely over-priced for what it is, but that's life in an airport. If it cost this much outside an airport, I wouldn't be dining here, but pickings are slim for anything non-fast food in an airport. I ordered the breakfast enchiladas. The only issue was the eggs were runny, but some of the white was not cooked. I prefer over easy eggs, so they weren't prepared well. However, I easily pushed the uncooked white to the side and was able to eat the rest without issue. The chorizo wasn't super spicy but still tasted good. The drink menu was typical of an airport, so I had a cider since I didn't want to spend $13 on a cocktail. The service was also excellent. The waiter was very attentive, and the host chatted with me between customers since I was on my own waiting for my flight. I've been to plenty of restaurants in airports and the food still sucks, since you're trapped in the airport. While they have the same prices, I liked the food and would be happy to go back if I was waiting in Terminal 4 again. read more

I finished my business, asked a local person for a recommendation, he told me about this place, a few blocks from where I was. Went there with a friend, and to my surprise, great food. When he first mentioned this place, I thought Cowboy Chow, not Ciao, so I was pleasantly surprised. I had a lunch portion of scallops over some risotto, brown, with an added twist on this. The scallops were very tasty, a bit firm, but still great, I also had a craft beer, housed in bourbon barrel, great. My friend had a turkey sandwich, but it had grilled red peppers, cucumbers, excellent, and the very thin homemade fries, great.
